Thank for having a coffee house just across the road was able to replenish the body before carrying on good first cache TFTC
Took a break from driving to wander over and get this one. No muggles around so a straightforward find. We're enjoying the caching trip through the smaller towns and looking at the interesting features they have. tftc
Was down in Wellington for a few days, and decided that I'd make an extra long weekend of it and transfer a rental car back to Auckland and cache along the way. Unfortunately for the rental agency that ment nearly tripling the km's they thought I'd put on it!
With the rental car company only giving me 48 hours to get the car to Auckland a little bit of planing was needed to maximise what I wanted to accomplish, and with only a few DNF's it turned out to be a very successful trip. So a big thanks to everyone who had placed caches along the way, and for showing me some great sight's along the way.
Day 1: Foxton through to Bulls.
All good here though the log book is full, thanks for the hide.

Lovely day today for a walk in the park in Marton! There was a muggle having a rest in the shade of the grandstand but he couldn't see what we were up to. Envied him the shade. A nice little hide. Thanks for putting it there for us. Log book only has room for 2 more names.
Found it. Log book has 3 spaces left will need a replacement shortly. Tftc
Nice park, watch out for dog poo though , that smells. Not too hard to find.
TFTC!
TFTC!
Very good find! Originally looked at the metal seats the opposite way until we actually read the coordinates haha
Did today with The Wandering Dragons and Astro Hunter. A quick find, and then we enjoyed some of the rest of the park. Thank you for bringing us to a lovely spot!

As we entered we spotted a likely hiding spot, but the helpful hints put us off and we did a circuit of the area before arriving back where we started for a quick find. Thanks for the cache and the local history. Marton is a delightful town.
nice and easy find almost too easy I saw it long before I got too it, so placed it a little lower to disguise it more tftc
I have been staying Marton at the Caravan Assn Park and thought it is time to do the local caches.
This one was the first for the day and is just over the Park's boundary.
Cheers for the cache.

SpudNZ and I headed out on a sunny Wednesday afternoon mission to grab a little less than 20 caches around Turakina and Marton. The last cache was a DNF but otherwise it was a very successful day.
A quick find here. I hope Marton thanked you for dragging them into the age of Geocaching.

Returned following my June visit. Exactly were I thought it would be and this time no audience.
We decided to make the most of a very mild July afternoon and go for a geo-drive to Marton. There were three caches for us to find here, good to see that the numbers have grown. There were many possible hiding places around here, so the helpful hints were appreciated, thanks spudpn.
Wheee, my first ever find. The log was a little damp. Went hunting with ProjectMarton and had a wonderful day. TFTC
Nice Park and grab, took a stroll around and kept lookout while jesserfly signed log.
TFTH, good photo opportunity for mushroomy goodness.

Found on a visit to Marton. We were doing a reccy for a cycle trip in the area and what a delightful place it is. TFTC
Very clever now we no what we are looking for it should be easier next time. First geocach just as well we had a child with the nose of a blood hound with us.
Took my Dad out with me to find this one since he lives in Marton, this was his first time and oh the excuses as to why he couldn't find it. "I'm not used to the GPS, I don't understand how it works", "somebody has moved the thing", "you've been hiding it from me!". He found it in the end though while still proclaiming it was easy. Great into for him to the game. Cache in good condition. Many thanks. #71
Lovely little park. Nice easy cache for my second only find! NZMCA place really nice & handy for this cache!
Easy find. Loved it. Enjoyed the park as well. Recovered the cache so it can't be seen by Marton muggles.
Find number 100. Wahoo. Never knew this park was here. Son had a run around and rolled down the hill
Simple find. Outer container was full of water, but log book was still in good shape. TFTC
Quick find with the hint came down to visit the Nga Tawa gala day and grabbed a few caches while in the area...
Out and about early picking up Marton, Bulls & Ohakea caches. A quick find in a nice park I did not know was here. Thanks for the placement and bringing me to a spot I have not seen before.
Had to be sneaky as there was a guy real handy doing his early morning exercise.

Walking along and nearly getting spotted by a party at the football club and a muggle in the stands, Mr +1 found it (even in the dark)

A spot of Sunday caching in and around the district.
Taken us quite some time to get to Marton. Pleased to make a straightforward find.
Cache in order; log signed, safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too

Talk about a blast from the past ...
A quick find on today's geo-maintenance run from Wellington to Marton with JardisLikeTardis. We'd driven up to replace the trad my brother and I share at Lakeview Cemetery - Marton district's first ever traditional - but couldn't resist grabbing the hides that have sprung up since.
I briefly lived here - in Hair St - as a five-year-old (though my paternal grandmother called the town home for most of her adult life) but initially struggled to get my bearings. However, like Arahina, this was one landmark I did recall clearly (even by torchlight).

My first visit to Marton, so it's appropriate for me to find this cache. In the area with former local Kjwx, owner of the nearby cache (In The End It's Really Not About The Numbers - GC2PQ3P). We decided to park next to the lovely old church, and found the cache by torchlight. Lovely spot. TFTC
TFTC. There are some lovely old trees here, oh and one of those munzee things that I can't be bothered with.
Stayed in the NZMCA park overnight, only to find the cache was just 43m away from us! Quick wander round to the park for a quick find. NINO TFTC
Found on 10-1-14 log was wet as someone had put a plum in container added a container to inside of cache and replaced log. Have kept original log.
