There were a few campers set up here for the Easter weekend. Kind of jealous of them, actually, as I was only passing through on my way to the Queanbeyan Mega. TFTC!
Short break with a beautifull view but very annoying insects. Thank you for the cache and best regards from swiss vositors.

My second of a 9 day caching road-trip holiday. After turning early last night, I woke up unfortunately very early this morning. Far colder than I was expecting when I started my morning caching before breakfast.
Today I headed West through Kosciuszko NP, A fun drive but with fewer caches than yesterday.
Thanks for the caches.

I have always wanted to find a cache in the snow so, after a couple of hours at Selwyn tobogganing and building snowmen we stopped here on the way home. There was half a foot of snow on the track so I parked on the road and walked in leaving the geofamily to build more snowmen . After a search around I thought I was going to have to start shoveling snow but then I saw the GPS swinging towards another tree and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache in the snow

On my way to Yarrangobilly for a rogaine, I stopped to find a few caches on the way. A quick stop and find here while exploring a side road. TFTC.

Its getting colder! Got geo hubby to retrieve don't like putting my hand in dark holes! TFTC
#212 @ 9:15pm. Staying at the dam and decided to go for a night cache. Some other campers staying at gz. Introduceded them to caching and had a chat about all sorts of camping things. Enjoyable cache and experience
Found after a Canberra Bushwalking Club's bike ride along Wallaces Creek fire trail, returning via the Snowy Mountains Highway. TFTC.
Another great day of exploring the snowy mountains with AWTYOW, Gabstar and Geogangstas. TFTC
The senior geo-gangsta found this one and everyone (especially Mr AWTYOW) had a great laugh at me running away from some killer bees that had my number. It was a close call but I escaped in the end! TFTC!
Picking up passengers at Kiandra who were walking there from Thredbo. On the way to Kiandra decided to try for a few caches. TFTC.
I have been here a few times in winter but didnt know you could access this side of the Dam. what a great spot

Tagging along with the "Rats" on holidays has it's advantages, not only do we get to see our cool country but we also get to do a heap of caching as Dad just can't help himself and has to stop at every cache he can.
Heading across Australia on nearly every dirt road possible we stopped and found your cache as part of our adventure and for that, I thank you! Sorry about the log being a "cut n paste" but tthats just because we stopped at so many caches.

The Rats and mini rats found this cache as part of our Purposeful Meander across Oz where we visited every mainland state and territory in 8 weeks.
Apologises for the late log in some cases but we are only just catching up on our logging now that we have arrived back home. Your cache makes up many of the great memories we now have from the adventure. The faceplate style log doesn't detract from the experience we had finding the cache.
Thanks

Our first find in the snow! Only to realise that I'd forgo my pen .
Initially just took photo proof but didn't want to not sign our first snow find, so after walking back to the car we drove down the track (knowing now that it was navigable in the conditions) for a quick refind and signature. More snowballs may possibly have then been thrown.....

Another top spot with a fishermuggle testing his luck nearby.
Cache was quickly found and looked like a new container and a blank log sheet.
Lots of horse droppings here but unfortunately not a brumby in sight. Something I was really hoping to see!!
Thanks.

Heading home from our three day camp on the other side of the dam, So and I stopped in here and made a nice quick find. Lucky the campers nearby were not home. TFTC
While camping on the Murray we decided to go for a day trip into the national park. Keep to come camping here too!
Log probably needs replacing, sorry I had nothing suitable.

While returning to Canberra from a three day bushwalk in the Snowy Mountains, I sought out eight geocaches - an opportunity to feed my not-so-secret obsession while getting me out of the car and hopefully reducing the inevitable muscle tightness in the legs. I found six geocaches and was still able to hobble upon my return to Canberra, so I was successful on both counts!
This cache was a straightforward find, right on the coordinates. Thank you TEAM DENMAR for the cache.

On my way back to Canberra from Corryong, taking the mountain road for the first time in ages. A great drive on a slightly cool and misty day, not really a summer day! Anyway, too early before Christmas for many campers so I managed the find this time after having to turn away last visit due to many muggles. Thanks Team DENMAR.
A quick find on my way back from Cabramurra. Took a little while to rummage around the various trees, but eventually found the hidey hole. TFTC TEAM DENMAR. A great spot.
Found with OJJT and geocousin from England. Thank you for bringing us to this great spot. The kids loved playing in the snow for the first time! We spent many hours here building snowmen and having snowball fights. This is why we love geocaching. We would not have found this spot otherwise. TFTC. (could not sign log because pen ran out of ink)
What a super spot. Lots of snow still and we enjoyed the drive down here. Thankfully the cache was an easy find and not buried in snow. After finding the cache we wrapped up and enjoyed our picnic lunch at the table followed by some snowman building! TFTC!

Found it with shollzy and a few other friends on a fly fishing camping trip. Location has the potential for a larger container though... No pen so have attached photo. Tftc
Lucky find. Given away a bit by cacher before me. Nice to have one down there.
took our van and spent the night here. suspect cache has been push in out of reach. so placed rock to prevent new cache going to far in .a great camping spot.
We had a good look around but couldn't see it. Still, a lovely spot to have a picnic, thanks
had a break without snow lookink for that one. Almost gave up on that one. TFTC
Took a bit of searching but we got it. Found with Swissy2009 and Dundee2002. TFTC
It was very beautiful in here today. I had the place to myself. I was visiting after spending a great day at Selwyn with the kids. The recent snow falls were slowly melting and the place looked ever so beautiful. I didn't find a small screw top jar? I found a micro rusty eclipse tin with a log sheet inside? It felt like I was signing a log from a throw down cache. It was so easy to find? THanks for showing me this place...eatmorchikin from Brisbane.
What a day! We planned a drive to Tumbarumba, then Tumut and back to Wagga, but took a wrong turn somewhere. As we found a constant trail of caches, we were happy to continue. We passed through some pretty country, and stopped at some amazing places. Travelled up, down and around some big hills, and along some very winding roads. By the time we were ready to head back to the caravan, the GPS read that we were 210kms away, so we arrived back much later than planned.
No muggles in the area for us, getting chilly. Cache was found quickly, and in good condition. Took trackable.
Many thanks for placing this cache, TEAM DENMAR, for us and others to find.

Yes !! I visited the dam today, and learned a lot about the history of the area
I also completely failed to find the duo of caches hidden around the shores thanks to muggles camped close to the two caches
Won't somebody think of the finders when hiding a cache !!
It's a long way to travel for a DNF !!
Nice spot all the same [^]
Maybe I can come back in the heart of winter for this one
That would be fun, and I have the tent to do it too

Nice easy find. So many bees tho!! tftc!! Left tb Oh and log was a little damp but writable!
A lovely place to visit. The cache is a micro, not a small as listed. TFTC TEAM DENMAR.
We were up early to do the run from Tumut to Batlow, Tumbarumba along Elliot Way to Yarrangobilly (for a swim and cache) then on to Talbingo and back to Tumut. It was wet and misty at the start of the day but fined up nicely and we had a great day of exploring and visiting areas we have not been to before. We enjoyed doing your cache. Thanks to TEAM DENMAR for placing this cache.
Found on our Christmas four wheel drive adventure/camping trip. We visited some stunning locations and enjoyed the journey to this cache.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Hi, went to three mile dam and checked out cache.found it was still there but had been pushed much further in that what it was supposed to be.retrieved from hide and put rocks in to prevent cache being pushed in out of reach regards team denmar
Had hoped to give this one a try while up this way but in blizzard conditions and around 70cm of snow, I decided to give it a try another time.
many laughs after finding this 1!! round and round the mulberry bush?! haha! tftc denmar!
A quick one as we were looking for the best camp site before someone else snaffled it.
Great camping spot, thankfully the campers today were all out and about and we had the place to ourselves. Tftc
I had a lovely morning riding through the Snowy Mountains today, and found this fellow. There was a nice family camped next to the cache, so I introdued them to our hobby. The young boys were thrilled and thought I was a pirate hunting for hidden treasure. I hope they join us in our adventures. tftc.

Nice scenic drive so far and we were not aware this was a campsite. Beautiful spot and as it was 3pm already we decided to stay the night. Cache was easily found, we replaced the zip-lock bag. TFTC TEAM DENMAR.
We picked this up on the last day of our week long camping trip at this wonderful location where we experienced a night of heavy snow(!!!!) and also beautiful clear days. We weren't expecting snow in Novemeber - but that is what makes the Snowy Mountains such an interesting place and it is a lesson to always be prepared (luckily we had plenty of warm clothing!). TFTC P.S. we didn't have any luck with catvhing anyt trout here either - maybe next time!
got this one on the last day of our trip to the snowy mountains and it was a trip to remember with snow and freezing conditions for the first few days and no fish for me for the full week we where their tftc
I think the cache might have been changed from a screw top to an Eclipse type. But the clue helped us to home in fairly quickly. The walk from the camping ground on the other side of the dam was most refreshing. Many thanks Team Denmar.
Spent a few days in the area, and found this one to keep the geostreak alive. Whilst there was a bit of snow around the general vicinity, there was none quite near the cache, making this a simple find. It would, however, not have taken much snow to make this one almost impossible!
Cheers

After tobogganing and snowball fights and a huge snowman was made at Selwyn the snow was getting too soft to slide on and so we decided to head out to Yarrangobilly caves, but not before knocking off this cache and its cousin as we left.
This cache is no longer as described in the description. It is a mint tin.
Thanks Team Denmar

Well after building a snow man, tobogganing and having some lunch at the snow we decided that there was plenty of day still left to grab the two caches around three mile dam and then go have a look at some caves.
Nice quick easy find and while log duties were occurring Noimeister got a snowball down the back of his jumper. Ha!
TFTC Team Denmar I bet this location gets lots of visitors in the warmer months!
