I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi novalightningThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
In town visiting Sam at university. Dropped her and her sister at tenpin bowling and caching philip.perry
I spent today down in Hamilton caching with nufrat. We were in the area, so we stopped to get this one. It was a very difficult find, but we finally got there. TFTC.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========

20 years of geocaching worldwide.
20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
And it's 2020 - all the 20s!

I'm slowly chipping away at these Hamilton caches and anytime is a good time for another raid - even in the rain! Mc Jandals was the only one crazy enough to join me as I plowed through a fairly specific bunch of trads, multis and solved puzzles. These educationally titled ones have been a combination of neat puzzles but horrible placements. I had read through previous logs here so I knew I was in the right place but it still took a while to find this placement... surprisingly good condition though so thats a plus. Cheers novalightning and TFTC
On another Waikato mission. What better way to spend a rainy day. NASTY!! I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing us here. Cheers
A tricky little puzzle until you weed out the good stuff then it all comes to life ...ah yes solved...but wait theres a sting in the tail...this took ages to sniff the little blighter ...natural camo does a great job ...thanks novalitning well though out
Once I waded through the preliminaries, some information was revealed, but then the interpretation was a small problem - my logic wasn't quite the same as the CO's but there were only a couple of variations. Then GZ!! I looked,m and then looked again thinking WHAT!, But then I slowed down and sifted, and there it was, well covered by natural camo. Thanks for the new qualification novalightning.
On a long trip down to the mega with Lis's crew. So for me it good for numbers and favorites caches. With several stops and a lot of caches and several souvenirs up for grabs the trip was the perfect opportunity to get my numbers up and get some challenges that I have qualified for.
We missed collecting the study break puzzle by not looking at the map carefully enough. Level 1 is archived and I haven't solved level 2. I must have had some skills cross credited so I could solve and find level 3. Unfortunately when we got back into the car to sign the log the tiny magnet dropped down out of the cache and out of reach. It is still slightly magnetic but might need another magnet to boost it's grip and help it stay in place. Sorry about that. Thanks for the puzzle
Loved the puzzle thank you, found it to be really enjoyable; no people out and about yet on this Good Friday; TFTC.
Caching with Mocrin and lostcheq. Cache container replaced as neeeded with a new log. That which holds the container in place is not a part of the container so remove the log carefully. TFTC
We had solved this puzzle at home a few weeks ago, but noticed the last log said it was missing. We replaced it at GZ today. New nano at the bottom of the pole. Hope that's ok! Thanks for the puzzle! Hello from Duluth, Minnesota!
Got the green tick, got to GZ and alas no Cache. It has been 12 months since actual finds, it may need an inspection at GZ
No nano at the base of this pole but a photolog to prove I was here. Hope that's OK.
Unfortunately I had no joy with this cache... I see it's been awhile since last found, may need a CO check. Will keep an eye on these
Had solved this a couple of years ago but hadn't managed to pick it up so was determined to do so when an unexpected trip to the Tron came up. A quick find once at GZ. TFTC.
Found buried in the mud so re-hid where it looked like it should go, good to be able to get another in the series 'signed off'. *TFTC novalightning, #9111*
2061 Solved some time ago but as I hadn't completed NCEA2 have been holding out for this. In the end no show for 2 so off to collect this one tonight. Parked down the road and walked to GZ. As I arrived a car stopped and parked across the road. Muggles even at 11pm. So strolled passed until he went inside. Wandered back to the car to sign then returned cache.
#248. Passed Level 1 and straight to Level 3. Not too much trouble with the languages and the green tick. Nicht sicher, wie diese GC nicht geschmuggelt - die frisch gemähten Rasen hatte es im normalen Anblick gelassen. Still, I guess you have to be looking for these things. Tftc.
I decided after caching both days in the weekend just been that I'm going to try to go for a record streak again and beat my current record of 9 days. Shouldn't be too hard right!?
Anyway, I was in the Melville for band practice so figured this one will do -- I need to knock out some of my solved puzles -- under the cover of darkness was the best approach. I made the find really easily according to the hint, despite not passing caches NCEA Level 1 or 2

The end of 2015 saw us take on a big couple of days of caching. At the beginning of the year, we set a goal of reaching 4000 caches by the end of the year. Towards the end of 2015, it wasn't looking too promise as geocaching got put a bit on the backburner for us as life and things happened. Come two days to the end of 2015 and we realised we were much closer than we realised, so set off to Hamilton for some binge caching to reach that milestone! Today was a day with a lot of more DNFs than expected and less numbers than we wanted, but regardless, it still brought us that little bit closer to our goal.
Solved this puzzle years ago, and realised we were passing the final location en route, thought we could finally grab the smiley for this one. Like the previous finder, initially overlooked the hiding place with a quick glance, but on a second look, the container was soon spotted. Thanks for the puzzle hide!

Out and about in the Tron trying to sign off on some solved puzzle caches that have sat in my solved pile for far too long. No problem with the solve, though it was years ago now! Parked up circled GZ only to come up empty handed. Expanded the search area to no avail. In the end I was looking in the right place but had to get my fingers right into the grass to detect the hide. Cheers for the puzzle and the hide!
We found this the easier of the four puzzles in this series. I must have been blind the first time I looked for this although a muggle arriving at GZ didn't help. Quick and easy find today. The log is a little damp at present. TFTC
Solved this clever puzzle recently. However, this cache was also missing when we arrived at ground zone last weekend. A quick email off to the CO resulted in a fast replacement (Thanks so much!). We decided that this needed to be collected sooner than later. With Fap and Gap, this one was in the bag. TFTP and TFTC.
I thought I was in the wrong place because there was nowhere a cache could be hidden. And then I realised I was staring right at it. What a great hide. Thanks for the puzzle too.
Less trouble with the puzzle than the log. Once I found it I then had to remove it from its container no easy task without tools. TFTP & C
Low traffic numbers was a blessing as it took longer to find than it should have, even with a hint. TFTC
Enjoyed solving this puzzle some months ago. Finally had the opportunity to get to Hamilton to follow up puzzle caches. Quick easy find with few muggles around. Thanks.
Always nice to get another puzzle signed off and no problems with the solve or the find. Cache in good condition. TFTC
Revisiting some half done puzzles this morning and cracked this one, so off we went to get it. TFTP.
We passed the exam with flying colours, although these languages were not taught in school when we were sitting the equivalent of NCEA. Nice one, thanks.
Hit a brick wall trying to solve this one originally, but on a second look everything fell into place. Very quiet today for an easy find before the kids go back to school. Thanks very much novalightning.
No wonder I made a mess of this one - I left school after 6th form cert and headed off to Tech.
Nice to sign log today (as KT).
Nice to sign log today (as KT).
Thought I better finally go and grab the rest of this series before school goes back. Managed to pick this one up off the grass so quickly signed and returned to its more magnetic spot.
10142... Decided to tackle this series backwards, had solved these for a previous trip but had run out of time to collect... a great excuse to return when NCEA exams are over. Our boys don't do NCEA so had to sit Level 3 ourselves. Many thanks.
Another quick find after a little walk from the car and pretending to admire the "pole". Some digging round and the cache was soon in hand. Very sneaky hide this one.

Carried on our day of caching by swinging by to collect this one. No problems with the solve and as it turned out no problems with the find either. Nice little area and it allowed us to find a few other nearby caches while we were here. TFTC
Enjoyed the solve on this one soon after publication. Great to be able to spend a day down in Hamilton clearing up some of the solved puzzles. Cache found quickly on arrival to GZ. TFTPC!
Quick solve on this. Actually walk past GZ often so grab today while walking past but had to take away somewhere to get the log out and sign. Replaced on the way home.

To be honest I think #3 was the easiest to solve of them all.........
First NCEA cache to pick up for today.

Finally called back to pick this one up - almost missed the learning centre again - cache all good and low down I enjoyed this puzzle series TFTPC
After 2 failed attempts yesterday (wrong co-ords and cache blindness) this time around it was very quickly spotted
Oh, how I just love these little guys, infact to make the whole experience even better would be to place one in a flax bush, (aaaaaggghhhhh nightmare), not too dodgy hanging around here as made quick exit stage right so that I wasn't tagged by the watchers,

Not fluent in any of these languages but soon worked out the necessary info. Picked up NCEA1&2 yesterday but ran out of time to look for level 3. Back today for a look, at a time when GZ likely to be quiet, & nice to find cache all good. Thanks for another fun puzzle!
Out and about picking up caches and totally forgot to find this one, next time maybe!
Easy solve with the help of Uncle Google, for most of it. One language had me stuck for a little bit, but soon pasted level three. Easy find at GZ, hid slightly better when replaced.
I have a confession to make. Stopped by after work and managed to find it ok but the log was a bit stuck in the container. Gave it a shake and it popped out faster than expected and dropped into a puddle. The log is presently wrapped around the heated towel rail at home to properly dry it out. I will return it on the way to work tomorrow morning. Sorry about that.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache.
well i never actually did this one back at school but i got it now tried getting wombatholio to put coordinates in while sitting at gz but then dashed to where i thought it was but no she got to it first. so another co FTF #3 for us... now is there any more in this one coming?
So thought I'd check to see if this one was around yet. AND IT WAS! Quickly solved. And off we went. Found with candiestriped for a joint FTF, silently hating the cluster of cluster caches going on, decided to go and get this one instead of banging my head against the keyboard trying to solve them. Just as we got to GZ it started to POUR down with rain. Oh well. Grabbed the cache quickly and signed. Just as we finished signing, it STOPPED raining. Just our luck. Not back to trying to solve these silly clusters. Thanks for the break from the headaches.
