Logs
Hard to be stealthy with so much traffic around. Fairly easy find. Log is full. TFTC.
Quick swoop and find but it took me so long to get the log sheet back into the container that I went for a wander rather than lingering for too long in one place. Then another swoop to return the cache back to its spot. TFTC
Kimmy+Co found it while I was busy debating if this was a hiding spot that was allowed...snooze you lose right
TFTC. Got lucky. Couldn't see it anywhere but then reached to the right spot kinda by accident and found it. Log doesn't have any space left so had to write over an old entry.
I managed to peer from the best angle, making for a quick find. The logbook is chocker, and I put my entry above no. 4 and 5. TFTC!!
Ive done this one previously years ago and it doesnt look like its here. Maybe its been moved, but we looked all around and couldnt find it.
Called in here on the way back to Wellington from Upper Hutt as I was after a quick park and grab. I tried to be as stealthy as I could, pretending to be on the phone and making quick searches. Luckily I found this on my second try. The longest part was unrolling the log, seeing there was no space, trying to find somewhere to sign, and then rolling the whole thing back up again. Log definitely needs replacing. Thanks for the CO for the cache!
QEF PnG as per the hint. As the log is full, I took a photo of the cache in situe to prove my find. I won't posted, but am happy to send to the CO if requested.TFTC CaligulaNZ
#2578. A trip to Taita to attend the Lego Brick Show on a very windy afternoon was a good excuse to pop into Stokes Valley to pick up some previously unsoughtafter caches. This was the first. The cache name initially perplexed me, but after translating, and getting to GZ, everything made sense. GB Leader spotted the hide from a few metres away, and we soon had it signed and tucked away again. The log is full. Signed between spots 10/11 before Jodanz. Will put in a maintenance request, although I suspect the CO is no longer on the scene. But thanks for the hide anyway.
Out picking up some caches on a fine evening. Had to lurk properly, waiting until the time was right to get this cache. Quick find once coast was clear, retired to the car to sign the log. Full up, had to squash my name in next to BFG's (he won't mind). Tftc!
Bonus public holiday today, and Mumma muggle has to work, so off the boys go for a day of caching.
Was a bit sceptical about this one because of a couple of DNF’s. Found very quickly however.
Thanks!

A cache for an early morning or late evening hunt. Lots of traffic through the day. TFTC.
Our last of the day after a wee jaunt out of town to deliver a dryer. A quick find here. TFTC
Today is Palindromic Ambigram day!
Which is a much more interesting fact about the date today than it's a date of just 2's, but groundspeak have made a souvenir celebrating the whole 2's aspect for those who log two finds/attendances. I work so wasn't able to get out at 2.22pm to attend an event, so had to find 2 caches this evening instead.
I had previously DNF'd this cache a few months ago, but had recently noticed BFG's log so thought it merited another visit. I actually came here yesterday evening and found the cache, but decided to bring it home for the night so that I could effect a replacement magnet on it (thanks to the Seagnoid for that).
So this evening I added my name to the log and replaced it as I think it would have been hidden originally.
Happy 22022022 day! Coincidentally my streak's 100th day

Found on ground and wouldn’t reattach, so hid under rock (the cache, not me). Thanks CaligulaNZ!
Having just hosted an event in Avalon Park, Lower Hutt, I went for a drive afterwards to try for some local caches in an area I don't get to visit very often. I was aiming for a few park 'n' grabs as well as the chance to look for some solved puzzles and Challenge caches that I've qualified for.
This was (hopefully) going to be a quick park 'n' grab. Being a Saturday afternoon, I don't know whether the area around GZ was quieter than it would normally be, but there weren't many people around as I walked over to investigate GZ. However, after not finding what I expected to find on the box itself I read some previous logs and looked around the nearby ground in case it was still there. I couldn't locate it, so I'm pretty sure this one is MIA.

Found while passing after doing maintenance on my own in the area.
Found log full and missing magnet so placed at the rear.

Cache minus its magnet. Was sitting on the ground. Have placed it round the back.
Found with aeshna_uk on our way home after a sightseeing drive. Based on the previous find, this was pretty straightforward and, again, loved the artwork! TFTC!
On an unexpected trip south, unfortunately with muggle 81 yr old father!!! So my finds are far and few between, but many thanks for the placements!
Introduced young second cousin to Geocaching so out in the area having a poke around. Many thanks for bringing me here.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

On the way home from a day walking the river trail, a neat little find to finish of the days caching mission. TFTC
Getting back into geocaching after a few year's break and starting fresh with a new profile. This is the first I found, nice easy cache close to home. TFTC.
Nice quick easy find for mr 3 on the way home from a day out. Beautiful art work.
A quick find whilst tying the shoelaces off my Jandals. As always with these, took longer to repack than anything else. TFTC
The last time I had a decent full day’s caching run it was way back on Anzac Day, so it is pretty fitting that’s next is on Armistice Day. I decided to head back to Upper Hutt and Lower Hutt region as even though I attended the recent mega and enjoyed it, I didn’t really enjoy the actual caching as it was more like queuing and waiting your turn for the log book and in some cases not even seeing the container and that isn’t my type of caching.
An early morning start to make the most of what promises to be a great sunny day. I've tied a lot of shoelaces today searching for this series of caches. This was another one and another quick find. TFTC

what a mouth ful!
What an elongated weekend with firstly an over night at waikanae and gatherin g in a few caches around there, and then onto the Hutt valley, travelling through to the Wellington Airport to pick up geo son and head to Karori where we stayed for the weekend and I stayed on for a further day or two before heading back up north again. At least the SH 1 was open going home and I I didn’t have to travel over Paekakariki hill which I did on Friday.
I managed several caches around Hayward/ manor park area, Avalon, Lower hutt and then around the coast to Breakers bay etc etc before going to rongotai and then south to Moa point etc. before heading to the Airport.
Saturday we picked up a couple of challenge caches and others on the way up to the Event, getting there in time to register and head to the CITO event. Then a few more challenge caches and trads before heading to the Flash mob. Back to the venue where we had tea and got ready for the quiz night. Which unfortunately went on a little long.
Sun day saw us pick up a long over due mystery cache on tinakori road before heading to Petone and then up to Upper Hutt where we completed the Lab caches some puzzle caches and thee wherigo before heading back yo Karori to have tea with grand chn and family etc.
Monday we went to Zealandia where we completed two more caches before taking geo son back to the airport. I then drove home the next day after the bulk of the traffic had gone.
It was a great weekend and a great Mega event . thanks to the organisers and ALSO thanks to the REVIEWER who alerted CO about the status of the their caches etc so most caches were actually there and not missing. This was a truly amazing effort on the REVIEWERs part. Thank you.

Was able to spot it as I approached so able to quickly reach down to check my boot laces and grab then keep walking, same thing to return. Thanks CaligulaNZ

Found this one as an extra while on a GROET hunting trip in the Hutt/Stokes Valley area with Flowerydaze. All good with this TFTC.
A quick find on another nicely painted BB box. Thanks for these BB cabinet placements CaligulaNZ, and for drawing our attention to the artwork.
Last of 17 caches found today, mostly in the Upper Hutt area and a couple, including this one, in Stokes Valley. Overcast conditions but a good little outing. Took a few minutes to locate this one – wasn’t expecting it to be quite so small! #1901. TFTC.
Up from the deep South for a work reunion.
And revisiting my old stomping ground!
Thanks for bringing me back!

Walked the "Kingsly Loop" from Horoeka St and got this one on the way back. Tiny cache was found quickly and it was then back up the road to finish off the rest of the loop and head home for a well deserved beer.
A quick visit to Stokes Valley while my son was swimming at Naenae Pool.
I used to live nearby and try to avoid coming back here. Different times, bad memories.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

We left home with a goal it was to get 46 caches so we could log Skindo 250 caches for February and 46 is what we needed. Went as far as Paraparaumu Friday night got 3 traditionals and 1 wherigo so that was a good start so today we needed 42.. Its a lovely area to have caches but not easy to get to traffic and parking wise. But today was our lucky day it just a quick park and grab to then signed the log and place it back exactly where i found it. Thank you for placing caches in this beautifull area. Its always lovely driving through here. Cache was all good here today TFTC now onto the next cache.
My very first find in New Zealand! Went for a walk around Stokes Valley today and decided to pick up this easy park n grab. I loved the Tui. Tftc visiting from the USA
I was on my way back to my friends house and had finished caching but then again here was this cache right where I was driving past. So of course I stopped for the quick find. I have lots of tui visiting my garden at the moment which brings me a lot of joy - their beautiful singing and the gorgeous colours in their plumage. TFTC # 11,825
A wet afternoon presented a great opportunity to test out the range of our recently purchased electric car. We needed a destination that wasn't too far, but far enough to get a feel for battery life. This park and grab fit the bill perfectly. All good at GZ, and as usual in this series the cache was in perfect condition and a quick find. Favourite point awarded for the series thus far.
Easily found compared to the one up the hill which I had to Dnf. Rechargeable battery's in my GPS are flat so now I need to find some disposable ones now
Nice hide here, tucked away out of sight, in plain view.
After yet another long day in 'class' I was yearning a few caches afterwards to get the wind in my (thinning) hair and a drop of golden sunshine too. Having started to chip away at those caches in close proximity I'm starting to cast my beady eye a bit further afield now in search of treasure and managed a nice little haul and still back in good time before dark. A few Boradband cabinet caches, a couple of Puzzle caches and general satisfaction with my little trip this evening.
T F T C to all the Cache owners.

Another nice quick find. Thank you for the cache.
Signed as RE as I'm caching with Ethnz this weekend.

Found while caching with RosalieNZ completing the 100, 10, 7 Challenge. Cache log signed as ‘RE’.
Found the replaced cache all good here! Nice hide, hardest part was all the traffic. Thank you very much!
I've been to a few of these so I have a good idea what to look for and where. An easy find despite the passing traffic.
TFTC
[Edit] Reviewing a few past logs I came back to this and I remembered that I was surprised to find an untouched log in the cache. Judging by the recent DNFs I'd guess that the cache has been surreptitiously replaced by the CO but no note was left.

Just got off the boat from Picton after a flying road trip to a wedding in Blenheim with My.Precious. Had a couple of hours to spare before going to friends for the night.
Out of my home ground for a few days with Tigatat2 for a family wedding in the mainland and sorted out which caches to do on our travels and this was one of them.
With the business end of the trip out of the way this was on the list as it was close by where we were staying for the night
Parked up the road and made a very quick park and grab. Log was a bit wet as the lid wasn't on properly so we dried it best we could before signing and returning to it's spot.
TFTC.

Wet and windy day but timed it so not many people around. The lad found it quickly and easily.
Quick find thanks to the "that doesn't quite look right" method of searching. In fact it took me far far longer to roll up the log and squeeze it back into the container. I did that in the car for obvious reasons.
