Hi bryn00213This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no cache maintenance logged. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
One of 20 caches located today, mostly in the Loburn vicinity and north of there. A reasonably quick find at the end of the road, so to speak. #4484. TFTC.
Our last day before we head home so headed out in the car to grab anything we came across. We had 29 finds and 2 dnf's so not too bad a day. Most of our finds were nice and quick and caches need no attention. Anything extra I will detail below. Thanks to all CO's for their caches.
Container was broken so we replaced it with the same type/size.

Happy to of found this as only 2nd day at this, clever camouflage put back as found. Signed log as Girl Power which is Busy Paws, Coconuts3, Jude_E and lytteltonwitch. Thanks for this cache
GP signed (busy paws, coconut3, Lyttelton Witch and ne). Quick find. Sent the newbie to look first. Tftc. #3608
Cache was a quick find by Girl Power team of Busy Paws, Coconuts3, Jude_E and lytteltonwitch. A great wee series and we had fun finding them. I think that we possibly added fresh paper into this cache.
Quickly found by our newest chacher 3Coconuts, who was our driver today. Lytteltonwich, Jude_E and I have signed the logs Girl power. Love the limestone rock formations in the area. TFTH
Came prepared to do maintenance but log strip had been replaced and bagged. So CO can make a maintenance done entry to clear the needs maintenance flag.
Quick find and log. Was at the NZPUC camporee nearby.

14.45: Our second attempt of doing the loop through the Lees Valley. No so quick find at the quarry entrance. There are a number of typical hiding places but in the very end it was quite obvious[|)][8)].
Weather: overcast, rain is over, 12°C;
Wheelchair: no problem, maybe help for particular access required;
State: box in good condition, logbook completely wet, we gave a new one.
Thank you!

I should have trusted my GPSr instead of focussing on something else. It still turned out to be a quick find. Cache container had water in it and a mushy logbook. I left some ink on it in an attempt to leave my name but it will need attention. Thanks bryn00213.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are exploring around the Ashley River this weekend. Left Zara in Sefton and headed out in Toby. We have located the elusive turtle, but lets see what else we can find today.
OK now I see the lime and the quarry. This lime has turned black. Needs a good polish. Snagged and tagged. Cheers

Taybeedragon, Toby, Zara and I came down this way to search the nursery for the world turtle having heard it was in this vacinity. We found it yesterday, and now are just wandering around, collecting all the rest of the cache between the Kowai and Ashley rivers.
Thanks for the hide. Out on some Sunday caching.
Log full put in a replacement log.

My original plan involved caching somewhere else for the weekend, but winds interfered, and gave me an opportunity to cache closer to home. So out I went for a few hours of caching, and had great fun. I ended up with small rocks, dirt, and vegetation everywhere on myself and the car Definitely worth the fun! TFTC!!!
Hi there bryn, could you please do a maintenance check with some paper? sadly I didn't have any (see log) but the cache is in good condition otherwise
Out and about after dinner, grabbing a couple of caches, unfortunately while I found the cache, I was unable to sign the log as it's full, I had a hunt around the car for a suitable piece of paper, but my normal caching kit is at home in Hamilton will flag a needs maintenance to let the CO know.
TFTC bryn00213, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 27 finds of 32 today, making this find #1430

Was out with Survey Base to make a few finds to help reach our caching goals by the end of the year. No problems locating the cache today. Thanks for the cache.
On an evening raid with 2wombles love this series and especially the containers. Quick easy find. Thanks for the effort that has gone into this series.
#12308. This was our turn around point; we enjoyed exploring the area. TFTC.
Another gorgeous autumn day just asking for a caching expedition so we headed north of the Ashley to turn some green icons into smiles, travelling as far north as White Rock. It's been a while since we were last in the area and I'm pretty sure I've not been to White Rock before so had an enjoyable time exploring these North Canterbury roads. Thanks to the COs for their cache placements.
I suppose the lime explains the name "White Rock". Quick find as easy to spot. Left a small stone covering it. TFTC.

After several days in Chch and surrounds we headed home today but of course made time to find some caches on the way. As well as caching around Ashley and Loburn we returned to the Greta Valley to finish what we didn't have time for on our way south.By the time we reached home last night our count for the day was 53, tired but satisfied with our efforts for the week. The logs were signed HZ+HM, H+H, or on some case with our full names.
Thank you to all CO's whose caches we found this week.

After caching managed to hold us up for two days we're heading for home. Not without picking up caches on the way and not so on the way though. And a detour via Greta Valley to take care of some unfinished business from a few days ago on the way down. The landscape is a lot more pleasant here than both the dry and irrigated land further South. A good variety of caches were found. Nice after doing some series on days previous. Our final tally for this multi day raid was 380+. Thank you bryn213 for placing this cache
It was rainyish at home but I still wanted to go find some caches. So I drove out to Cust. No sign of rain there. Onwards to country roads. Still no rain. Yay
Back to sealed roads. I found a whole lot of the Tinker Taylor series and this was close by so I got it too. Thanks for the hide. Time to head home.

A quick easy find, as we kept an eye on a fertiliser truck which stopped nearby for the driver to detach its trailer. TFTC
Continuing on our Mega trip with tmann421 and enjoying the variety of caches in the area.

In town for a “Mega” weekend of caching. I joined up with Yeetrees and gonefishing to form Team YGB. I really enjoyed exploring the country roads of Canterbury. We travelled a fair few Kilometres in the 4 days we were here, and had a great time, with a lot of laughs along the way. Good weather, and good company. It doesn’t get much better than that does it.
Monday. Day Four, Area 4. Today we ventured north up towards Amberley. A change of scene from the long straight roads on the plains that we had experienced in the previous days. We then headed back to Pegasus and Rangiora to round out the day with a bit of urban caching.
Thanks to all the CO’s for all the caches we found.
Cheers and TFTC

Found during the Mega weekend on bit of a tiki-tour around the Canterbury back blocks. Great weather, great caches, great fun! Thanks to all the cache owners for putting out and maintaining caches for us to find. All in all, a fun road trip with Boxhill and Yeetrees, we signed many of the logsheets as YGB to save both time and logsheet spaces.

Thank you for this cache and making me come out all this way. I have enjoyed the scenery very much -and finding other caches. Apologies for being so late logging this. Found during the Mega weekend. TFTC
On the way back from the top of Okuku Pass, picking up everything as I go, and exploring an area I haven't had much to do with until now. TFTC (2229)
Planned a whirl wind trip to Canterbury this weekend to get some numbers and collect some puzzles - what a fantastic weekend for it, the weather was brisk but clear and sunny.
Another quick find at White Rock before heading back.

Down this way for a spot of work and Rep training through the Southern Regions and Christchurch so this is an opportunity to grab a few caches that i otherwise would not get to. And as i'm working on a MGSc Challenge numbers are quite important.
After rushing off of the plane and getting a car it was straight off caching up a storm. This the one of many hopefully tonight as i want to have completed the requirements for the challenge before heading to the OZ Mega
THanks for the placement

I apologize for the EXTREMELY late log. 5th and last day of our End of Year caching trip. Last night we stayed at furpurse's house in ChCh and today we are heading home via the Travelling Tinkers powertrail. Nice hide. Had to laugh that the bottom of the post had been thorough searched LOL. Thanks for the cache
Had a yummy Christmas lunch then thought we would go off and find some caches. 36 caches later and 3.5 hours gone we are back home
Lovely day for a drive
Merry Christmas!

Had a bit of a look for white rock - - - and a bit of look for a cache. The latter was successful and ended up earning us smilies. Thanks!
Some good specimens of the not so white rock here and good views of the extensive excavations as we travelled further up and then back down the road. TFTC #6323
Quick find while out searching for the Tinker series. The quarry was a bit dusty with the wind. TFTC.
A nice distraction while out doing the tinker series. Interesting place- and nice hide. tftc
A Quick Stop for the MadBearMeg team in between the tinker trail. Cheers for the cache.
Found with Bbear and JustMeg on a caching adventure in the area. Wow they are impressive rocks! TFTC
Found on an afternoon's drive out in the country with BBear and MadCat. These rocks were impressive! TFTC
Very cool camo over most of the cache but easy spot with some of the camo having fallen off. Great wee hide never the less. TFTC
TFTC nice container and another of my list that have been meaning to do for a while.
