It was a short run of bad luck here as I was unable to locate this one after checking just about every movable rock, only to have the CO turn up and confirm the worst, it had been muggled. Following this a road closure to Cradle Mountain meant a longer than expected drive to get there. One day we might be back to get this one and it was good to meet to cache owner in a spot with a great view.
So my brother and his children have joined me on a trip to Tasmania from Mount Gambier in South Australia. We were filling in our first day, before we could move into our accommodation for the week. My niece and nephew are getting very good at this treasure hunting.
I came to this town several years ago to go caving, no caves for me today.
Thanks

Found it! Signed the Guest Guys. We added a small pig and plan to return to do a bit of repair on the cache soon. Great hiding place
Ttfc! Found it on a cold fog filled evening with the geodogs after a big pub feed. Great short road side stop and quite interesting!
Found with taurus1955. What a great sculpture. The hands were itching to move rocks! A sneaky hide. TFTC
Found while travelling around Tasmania with misschief18 - lucky to add another smilie to our collection

Australia Trip, Day 27 of 49
Tasmania Trip, Day 11 of 12
On Cache tour with Theatralis.
English Log: (translated with Google Translater)
We still wanted to visit a cave in Tasmania. That's why we made this afternoon a tour to the Marakoopa Cave. Then we still went to the Liffey Falls. On the way back to Devonport we made a large cache tour. Among others, we visited the Great Lake. Because our ferry was started very early on the next day, we still got a few caches in Devonport evening.
Interesting sculpture! Art and coziness combined After we had looked at a little bit, we started searching. It was not long since Theatralis had the can found.

Our time visiting Tasmania is nearly at an end.
Overnighting in Chudleigh we headed out to find a cache to continue our geostreak.
Beautiful day out around the Mersey Forest.
First stop for the day and had to read the whole cache page before the cache bit us in the moosh. [B)]

Searched for a few minutes for this one but found and signed. Took pics of the sculpture and the firefighters site. What a job they're having here TFTC
We've now only got five weeks left of our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we're having fun finding the caches we didn't even know were here!

Today was day 52 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and day 10 of the Tasmanian part.
This cache was a very quick and easy find. Being out of sight of any muggles also helped and reading all the available information led us straight to the right place. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced as found. Thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find.

Tftc. Found with dictaham. Saw a nice little echidna walking about near gz. A nice little town.
A 10 day trip to Tasmania with a lot more caching then initially expected, but I enjoyed every minute of it! This was one of the many caches I found and enjoyed. Can't wait to get back here and do it all over again, there are so many great places in Tasmania.

Quick find! Cool sculpture!! On the way to the spirit of Tasmania with snorkafest!
People its not hard to read a description of a cache it says no need to move ANY ROCKS cheers colliflowers
Tried but failed. Don't like pulling someone's art apart...maybe it should be moved to the timber lorry
What a lovely town. We have travelled down from cradle mountain and journeyed through this very pretty valley to stop nearby for morning tea. Had to stop for this quick cache before moving on. TNLNSL TFTC KKAms
A great example of dry stone wall building but how did they get the timber to warp like that? Train history was interesting too. TFTC.
Quickly found the cache on the way though town this evening. Very quiet around here this time of day.

I finally found this one in the first place I had looked, but obviously not thoroughly enough. It didn't help that the GPS zeroed out in a clear area. Another more careful look revealed the cache Loved the sculpture, but a little, dismayed at the way so many rocks have been moved. Tftc colliflowers
Easy find, thanks heaps,,,really!...found with Trudy+3.......love Mole Creek,,we'll be back for more
Found during our two weeks trip in Tassie. Such a lovely island, some great places to visit. TFTC!

Another terrific little town. Enjoyed reading the history and we liked the sculpture. We think you have done a really good job creating the hide in this area so a favourite from us.
We found this one during our camper-van holiday in Tasmania.
Thank you for the Cache and greetings from Germany.

2nd Cache find after 7 year sabbatical. Nice hide indeed! And very responsible not disturbing the rocks on the sculpture.
Note to others - an Eclipse tin is a mint/candy tin. I had no idea what that was.

Thanks colliflowers for the cache. Lovely to learn more interesting facts about this great area. RoamingParsons from Bargara near Bundaberg.
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Clever little hide. Thanks for bringing us to this cool sculpture colliflowers!

Had been looking to cache this area for some time but suddenly, yesterday it became a reality. Had made the trip up to Lake Mckenzie (for a GCA cache ) and now wending our way back to Deloraine accommodation. Interesting structures had us fooled for some time but eventually located with some seated thought.

OUR FIRST GEOCACHE!!! Nice and easy once you think about it. We are addicted already!
What a great sculpture and illustration of rock work! And nice views too.... Thanks colliflowers!
We had briefly seen the sculpture on the way to cpgd last evening but it is a delight close up this am. Really interesting to see some of the local black limestone. NINO TFTC
Found while visiting down here from Queensland on holidays.
This one took us a little time to find.
The hint helped and we soon had the log book out to sign.
A very interesting scupture and some wonderful views of the mountains behind here.

We were suckered in perfectly. Did not move any stones, but were completely flummoxed by it. About ten minutes later we finally sat down and then, it clicked... Nice hide - there have been a few stones moved here - as per the hints and other logs -there is absolutely no need to move any stones at all to find this cache. TFTC!
It's a shame the rocks have been moved around, I hope it's not from cachers.
No, it's not necessary to move them.

We were off early this morning as this is our last day in Tasmania for this trip. We had a quick stop here to check out the sculpture. it was an interesting one. Cache was found quickly. Stamped and returned as found.
We enjoyed a wonderful 2 week trip around beautiful Tasmania soaking up the sights after visiting here almost 8 years ago. This time the little Na'wals are with us and some caching is to be done. We had a wonderful time time even the the terrible weather that we uncounted most of the time here.

Thanks but it looks like people have pulled things apart and the cache is no longer there.
(etrexer) Quick find after visiting the wildlife park today. Finding a cache was far better than visiting this rundown wildlife park. Far better off looking at native animals in their natural habitat but ok for the tourists I suppose . Thanks colliflowers
Found this one a month ago, and forgot to log it until today. Really enjoyed the sculpture!
4th & last cache of the day as we booked in at the local hotel after a day at the tassie devil park & caves. Found at 7pm just before dark.love the mounting engineering. TFTC colliflowers.
We were going to have lunch at Mole Creek but both cafes were closed, so the Chudleigh store got our custom. Sue found the cache soon after we sat down at GZ. TFTC colliflowers
Whilst making plans for a walk to Mount Pillinger we discovered there was a geocache on top and one also at the not too distant Lake McCoy, so we decided to incorporate both destinations in the walk.
As the last day of walking was not long we included a few caches in the Mersey Valley along the way between Chudleigh and Mole Creek.
