SmileI have managed to pursuade Mr Pebbles to let me have a weekend away in the motorcaravan. I spotted this series and two more close together and not that far from Alconbury where there is a campsite. We parked near to the church in Upwood and I got out and grabbed waterproofs, my rucksack with my lunch and the two older geodogs rosie and Honey. Meggie is still too young for a walk of this length being only 6 months old. I decided to leave the Upwood Out N Ubout caches as I was planning that series for tomorrow. I trusted the GPS for this one as the hint was really not very helpful. Fortunately the grid was good so I soon spotted the cacheSmile

Thanks to the Burton Kidz for placing the cache for our enjoyment

Thanks for the cache

Just the male half of the team out today with the main series being “I think I’ve lost my Mardles” with others that either got in the way or were close by. All less for 3 x DNFs were found without too many problems. The weather was kind with no rain although at times it was a bit windy.

Sorry for the copy and paste but with we have limited internet access at our cottage.

My stats for the day - Miles walked: 17.4 Time: 7.25hrs Steps: 34,000+

Logs signed T2M or TTM or in a few caches TheTwoMotts.

Always enjoy a CM....especially a straight forward trad one.

This is find number 11 of 66 for the day

Thank you Burton Kidz for setting this cache for our enjoyment.

After a couple of hectic weeks I had a chance to get out for a much needed relaxing bimble with Monki. As always our planning was done at the last minute and the weather forecast suggested we should head east. A perfect opportunity to have a crack at the relatively new Mardles series ad a handful of extras in the area.

Sorry for the cut and paste logs but this week is turning out to be very hectic too.

Logs signed as MP to save on space.

I was able to get my hands on this one Big Grin

Many thanks Burton Kidz for your time and effort in setting this cache.

Heading East to beat the rain today with pfaffabouters.
We chose a reasonable size walk with a few extras along the way.
Most caches found without problem and replaced as found.
Luckily we did beat most of the rain until the end of our walk

A great time was had

Logs signed MP or M&P (our caching initials)

Thanks to Burton Kidz for doing the hard work of setting and maintaining the cache.
