Very cool hiding spot! Fits perfectly in the terrain & made us keep looking for a while. TFTC H&C + the view is amazing
Accurate clue. Took a little while with the distracting beautiful views: David
I arrived at this location after the relatively short walk up the hill from my previous find. I could see some pretty good views of the surrounding area through the trees on the way up, but I was absolutely amazed at what I could see when they cleared at the lookout point. I was genuinely not expecting to uncover such a great view, especially considering the relatively small elevation changes on this walk. I stood at the edge of the rock and bravely leaned forwards to look down, terrifying myself with the vertical drop in front of me! After a few moments of standing at the cliff edge and admiring the view, it was time to get onto the more important business of actually finding this cache.
My search for this cache started out unsuccessfully. Just like at the previous find, my GPS was still playing up and failing to accurately settle. I had spent about twenty minutes searching for this cache, still unable to find it. I was close to giving up on this one when I decided to expand my search area just a little bit more. After a bit more searching, I soon uncovered a suspicious formation. Could these be the hint objects? They certainly were! Stoked that I had now finally found the cache, I quickly signed the logbook and replaced it.
This cache was in a beautiful location and I am absolutely positive I will be returning here in the near future!

I said to Confused Aphorism, “It’s meant to be right here”. And so it was. I was lucky to spy an edge of the cache or I could still be there. Fantastic view. Dropped a TB. FP
Big foot approached from above an misplaced one of the rocks the cache was under
OMG, this cache did my head in. My Geo senses had abandoned me. I lost track of how long and how many places I searched. A panicked PAF went out...still scratching my head, and just as I was about to give up, i spied the cache secretly hidden away. It was only by fortune that I spied it.. having spent so long searching for this cache and with the sun setting, I wasn't able to enjoy the views for long.
Before I forget a big shout out and thank you to the CO for these caches and a great adventure.

Came here on a birthday trip out! Some nice nature, a wonderful walk away from people is exactly what we were looking for and that is exactly what we got! We left late this morning though so sadly we didn't get to finish the whole trail. Our GPS was in and out and we were kicking ourselves for not having brought our Garmin, as we had to leave a couple behind because of this.
While we were here the rolling thunder came in, ponchos went on and we waited for the rain to hit. It never really came though, just a little drizzle, for which we were thankful.
Some caches took us longer than we care to admit to find, again we presume due to GPS issues and this slowed us down too. The caches we found were all in good condition though!

A.very early start saw me at Dromaniax place to head for a day at Ingleston Gorge The. Morning tea event at the gorge was the carrot that had us heading for that destination plus a trail of caches to keep us entertained for the remainder of the day. They did that and more as the day turned out to much longer than anticipated, not returning home finally until after dark what a stunning place this is. Cache quickly found and not too long before we were joined here by many others arriving to enjoy morning tea with this view Another favourite point TFTC Crack' 'LeeLee

No problems finding this one when there's an event here! A great spot for a biscuit and a cuppa! Loved the view! Thx to the COs for the hide.

Met up with a few cachers today for a leisurely group assault on this section of the Gorge.
Those of us who hadn’t previously found this cache headed over to gz, where I spotted the sneaky hide.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Crack'n'LeeLee ??

The sun is shining and the sky is blue, which is something I didn’t expect this morning! (Not that I expected the sky to be a different colour!). Perfect day for an event in Werribee Gorge State Park and a wander along the tracks for some caches!
Just finished some morning tea at the event and dropped a few steps down to this one to grab another find!
Thanks Crack'n'LeeLee for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Initially lured by the 'Morning Tea with a View' event today, and subsequent liaison with the CO and other cachers to complete the Ingliston Gorge circuit, we were blessed by the weather gods with the only day in the week that was relatively pleasant enough to do this hike comfortably. Chook and Explorer Nan got up nice and early to make their way to Ballarat to carpool with Perpetually Lost. Once at the parking coords, we joined up with OzHockeyChick and Roaming Howie and off we set on our journey in the steps of Noah's Lark.
This is where the event was held, and wow, there were eyes wide at the wonderful view here. We are going to add to the favourite points here, not just for the great location, but also because we couldn't award a favourite for the event so we will do so here instead.
TFTC to the original COs, g_ordo and mudbrick, and to Crack'n'LeeLee for taking this series on so cachers can continue to enjoy it.

Out and about today for some geocaching shenanigans with Stemicmitsar today. What's on today's agenda, to head on over to the event in Werribee Gorge and do some general caching throughout the day.
Avoiding the predicted showers (until the afternoon).
With 30 odd caches ticked off for me it was a great day out on a okay winters day.
Thanks for the cache and the little adventure

At an event last night, we had a conversation with au.fait, and we decided to travel together to the event in Ingliston Gorge today. It was an early start, leaving St Leonards at 7 am.
We were blessed with wonderful weather and arrived at the parking area around 9 am. We hoped to find all the caches in the Gorge today.
This cache was located very close to the event, and after finding the cache au.fait and I sat and chatted while waiting for the other attendees to arrive.
The cache was spotted as some of the camouflage was at a different angle from the rest of it.
Thank you for this cache GMWG; g_ordo, and Crack'n'LeeLee for adopting and maintaining this cache.

Absolutely breathtaking spot. This was the highlight of my day. Thank you so much for bringing me here. Caching really does take you to some magical places. A fave point.
you know it is a fine lookout when you feel a dizzying hint of vertigo
when the clifftop ends abruptly at a ninety-degree angle
when the rocks beyond your toenails drop away like a rollercoaster
and you wonder: if
back out east where we’re from, everything is smoother and milder
landscapes are formed slowly and gentler-ly
with flowing curves and undulations
but not out west
this terrain was done in a hurry
something ripped through this gorge hard and fast
leaving steep drops and jagged unfinished edges
but
thanks for this slapdash style of terraforming:
we are blessed with a hell of a spot
to stand on rock among trees staring across to other rock among trees

Sunday caching plan saw Spiffy, my geopartner and I head out to the Ingilston gorge area for the series of caches. Cloudy and coolish, but the constant up and down hills soon fixed that. We tackled these numerically except for a couple which worked nicely for the clue collecting and kept us on solid paths.
Okay.. so the jumpers are off now and we are definitely warm. Spotted after a couple of minutes. Great location. No falcons today but did find an eagles nest a little further on.
Thanks to Crack'n'LeeLee for the placement and fun.

Found at 11:52 am.
Fleabag- had a new plan today to do this circuit and also the high terrain letterbox for some challenge he was working on. I didn't look at the contour lines on the map and agreed to his plan. Today (the day after) I am still hurting from 1. Climbing up and down and 2. because I am unfit. We also have a bad habit of taking the shortest possible route to each cache. That is a bad idea here on some of these we found out! Oh well, all part of the adventure. The weather was perfect though, about 18 degrees and fully overcast. It was nice out here, bush was not too thick but gee it was dry.
Favourite point here was the awesome location.
Thanks Crack'n'LeeLee for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

AusFox; was keen to get out for a walk/hike before the start of the school year and the whole back to the grind of work started for the year so when he asked if I was keen I jumped at the chance. I have looked at these cache on the map a number of times but never had the chance to get out and grab some.
What a wonderful spot for a hike and to grab some smiley's as a bonus.
We spent way to much time looking for this one but AusFox; saved us from a DNF. At least the view here is spectacular. A favourite point for the location from me.
Thank you Crack'nLeeLee for adopting this series for us all to enjoy

WOW! what an amazing walk around Ingilston Gorge circuit with such a variety of hides, sizes and camo along side SimsFamily with perfect weather.
I was surprised not to meet another person on our walk for the whole day.
The paths at times were hard to tell apart from animal tracks, but well signed to be able to be able to work our way around without issues.
This one had us walking back and forth for a while until a D’oh moment.
Log signed and replaced as found

Completed this track with friends on the first weekend out of isolation where we are allowed to exercise together ️
It was so great to get out of our backyard and into the bush!!
It was a beautiful day so we took our time. The meander along the dry creek bed was nice and the Geokids found lots of cool rocks.
Thankful that I downloaded the list before we left as phone reception was poor and the track isn't very well defined. We had to help a few people along the way who couldn't see the track.
Was a bit of a hard slog heading back up hill after weeks of limited exercise lol. The 5kms felt more like 15km!
All in all a very enjoyable day. Thanks for bringing us to this great spot that's so close to home yet we never knew about it!

This was quite a nice viewpoint from up here. Fortunately found this one quite quickly before my brother got bored of looking out at the view. Thanks for the cache.
Spectacular view from here and on such a nice day, many a photo was to be had. After a short search I managed to find the cache. TFTC!
I think I deserve some points for sneakiest retrieval in front of muggles. Muggles having picnic at GZ. About 2m away. Sat nearby and pretended to each lunch. With big 20kg back pack over the rocks I retrieved the cache and made the sign and the muggles walked away unawares. Tftc. Stunning view here

Today I headed out with jascat for a couple of events at Pykes Creek, once we were completed there, we then set our sights on the Noah's Lark a Gambol in the Gorge series, the weather was changing all the time but was pressed on through the wind, rain and sunshine.
Well we had changed our elevation a fair bit from where we were a short time ago.
I went over for a look but stepped back quickly as that is a big drop to down below.
We started looking for the cache and shortly after a SPOR was spotted and the cache was then found.

Adding a fav here - breathtaking.
A rare day off with hubby and no kids meant we could do a decent hike whilst they were at school. We decided to come here as I haven't tackled any of it so far. What a brilliant morning! Such a beautiful place. A few kangaroos and wallabies around but otherwise we had the place to ourselves. We managed all but a few as I wasn't keen on one of the creek tracks and the letterbox was too hard (exhaustion)! Lol. Generally though it was an easy enough walk with a few tough hills but not too many! We left feeling very pleased and super happy with our efforts - thanks a million.

After teaming up with the McLookers we planned to have a shot at this series, the weather was looking good one minute and very very average the next minute. But that did not stop us, it just meant we needed to pack a jacket.
We really enjoyed the walk around here finding the caches and gathering all the clues, we didn't see much wildlife, we think they were all taking shelter and watching us from a distance laughing at us getting soaked.
This was a very fun series to do, many thanks to gordo, mudbrick and Crack'n'LeeLee.

Werribee Gorge circuit has been on the bucket list for a while after grabbing No1 some months back. Made the long slow walk around the circuit today in a 4 hour return journey although I missed the last week and the bonus cache. TNLN TFTC GMWG Mint tin in the rocks, hmmm tricky!
Continuing the SueHut Werribee Gorge "Date Day". My "Woohoo!" was premature. *This* is worth a "Woohoo!" Thanks heaps, GMWG!

I have been eyeing off this series for some time. My monthly partners in crime, Biggles Bear, had already done it some time ago, so it never was available for a joint effort. So today, being somewhat roughly in the area, I decided to give it a go.

I'll be at the conference all day, she said. You should do something nice, she said.
This walk should be nice, I thought. Loop walks are nice. Warm weather and fresh air are nice.
A meandering walk down to the gorge and along the creek bed , peppered by entertaining hides and amusing containers made this a nice circuit indeed. Never saw another soul.
The day, in the end, got away from me and there were a few outstanding caches unattempted before I needed to turn for home. Always a good excuse to come back for more.
Western Gorges, man.
Thanks and cheers!

Been eyeing off this series of caches for a while now, so we decided to have a go on a glorious ANZAC day. This used to be a great walk for our border collie many moons ago, however we haven't come here for a hike in such a long time.
A favorite Point here, because this is always a great spot to stop and admire.

While travelling with Mutex I’ve found a lot of caches all over Australia. You know, I like the discovering, especially in nature, but am not that much intopcs and internet ..and logging. So we spend a whole day together to indicate all the caches we found together out of his list. Hope you don't mind the standard text aslazy me has to log quitea few now. HopefullyI'm gonnawork on that

At the moment Pfote and me are on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. After I've spent a full year in Australia Pfote joined me for my second year down here. We will definitely try to collect a lot of boxes and all the special things in every state all around and through the middle.
Today Pfote, Theatralis and me made a trip to the Gorge State Park to do the Ingliston gorge circuit with this little cache trail.
We found all the boxes we attempted on a beautiful couple of hours walk.

We decided to do the Noahs Lark series today after the rain yesterday made the gorge a doable walk in Summer.
The bush around here is just beautiful, and although it is dry there are a lot of amazing rock formations and spectacular views.
It took about 3 and a half hours and we missed 2 of the series and the letterbox due to time limits.
A fav point for all the caches as they were either crafty or in awesome spots.
Amazing view at GZ.
Definately our favorite of the day for the view alone!

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there GMWG. We found your cache "Noah 7 Eyes Wide" at 10:09:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 12431.

We have been itching to attempt this series for a while, but it has been far too hot recently. Today was the ideal day, the current heat wave seems to have abated. After reading the story on each cache we were really delighted to find all but one of the caches in this novel series , there has obviously been lots of thought and TLC put into each placement.
We have given each cache in the series a favourite point for the adventure.

Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: One Toy.
Left: A smiley badge and a toy car.
Thanks for a great day out
Regards
Ian, Penny and Eden.[font=Verdana]

I'd been trying to escape the house the entire four-ish day weekend, but family and work drama just kept popping up at the most inopportune moments (as they usually do... I defy anyone to suggest an opportune moment). This morning, I was tetchy enough to climb the walls. Well, Ingliston Gorge near enough qualifies.
This is a series that I'd been meaning to tackle since it was published, and especially after the fun I had in Werribee Gorge proper. Now, I must say that this area is not quite as spectacular or rugged, but then again, I'm not as fit as I could be, and it turned out that this was just what I needed to work on my condition, and get some much-needed alone time. And this area still has some great views and lovely trails.
The circuit of caches took me the remaining hours of the afternoon, including the time of some insignificant horse race or another. A very entertaining tale kept me amused, and there were some real gems among the hides. It's well worth the effort just to visit Yoric.
For once, I completed a hike while some (if not much) daylight remained. Thanks for making a great place for a walk even better, GMWG.

Came to the Gorge with a the walking club a few days ago and decided on a quick revisit to do the caches.
Easy find on an overcast & drizzly day. TFTC.

Wow!! This was an 'I bought a jeep' 'what colour?' moment, but I held back!! Lol!! The view was awesome!! Tftc and bringing me to this amazing place! My phone was going flat so I didn't take photos, hmmm I will have to come back again!
The view was epic!!!! I didn't want to go close to the edge for a better look!!! Tftc
Thanks to the cache owners of the Noah's Lark series, I walked the whole circuit and it was my first ever visit to Ingliston Gorge. I managed to find every cache in the series and had the whole Gorge to myself
Arriving here I was taken by the view straight away. I left Mrs. Kalianda09 to look for this cache while I took some photos to make a life long memory
