Time for a fresh series

After investigating several potential hiding spots, I finally noticed something that seemed like a good hiding place, and there it was. The log is in several pieces and the mint tin is getting quite rusty. Thank you for the cache Blackrat1414.

The jinta crew packed some food and fuelled up the car for a caching foray into the far north! It was a glorious day and we enjoyed our time up here.

After meeting with the CO at an event yesterday and being reassured that all of this series' caches are still in play, I revisited this one today even though it hasn't been found for about 8 months. Took me a good 10 mins as the cache had almost been absorbed by its host after so many months. Logbook sample and disintegrated a little as I went to sign, but I managed to make my mark. Glad to get another one of these off my watch list . TFTC

The goal this morning was to find all of the caches in Joondalup suburb and we ended up finding 27 so not a bad effort. Nice quick find here today. tftc.

We spent our morning finding 27 caches, for my father (ask277) wanted me to help reach this goal with him. We had six of us searching for each cache. It was very eventful morning, with a cache around each corner. This one was just one of our caches for the day and was a excellent cache to add to our mix. TFTC.

We were last looking for caches up this way back in December and we did cross quite a few off the list, today we had a lunch reservation in Joondalup, so had to be finished by 1:00PM. So off at the top end of our hunt to skin a rat, a very black one too! 10 to us and only 1 for him!!

Took the geokids out for an afternoon of caching. They made most of the finds today. Just about finished this series now. Thanks Blackrat.

In the area today with Skippy46 & OOH YEH trying to bump up our find tallies.
It was quite a bit warmer than expected today, we still managed some good finds though.

Overall we made 29 finds and 5 DNF's
Most of the caches were found quickly, but there were a few that had us searching a bit longer.

Back up this way on a very hot sunday with skippy 46 and MNS13.
We picked up some more Felix caches and got some of the Machman caches but our main aim was to do a lot of the Blackrat caches today.
we didnt do to bad we ended up with 29 finds and 5 DNFS.
Half the caches were found quite quick but a few took a bit of searching and some were very tricky to find.
I dont understand the hint for this one as im short and the cache definately isnt high up ???? TFTC BlackRat1414

After meeting JacobsCrew at the last event, we decided to do a caching run together.
With a couple of emails, the location was decided.
So with an early start, we headed for Joondalup.
We had a great day, with a good variety of cache hides and managed to find most of them.

I teamed up with The Drovers today to do a full day of geocaching today and we managed to put 71 smileys on our list today with a number DNFs on the way too. It was a pretty hot day today and that was going to be factor in the time we finish today. It was a fantastic day and I enjoyed the company of The Drovers. We all had turns in getting the finds and had a few periods of DNFs which made it tough going at times.Nice find by Mrs. Drover..TFTC

Started the great black rat run today with Captain Cave Man thanks Black Rat for all the effort put in great range of caches just over half completed

[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching after church with geowife, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ and after wondering around for a couple of minutes we finally had the cache in hand.

I walked to this cache from Number Eight, and it was a nice walk, although it was quite warm today. At GZ there was a large magpie watching me very carefully, but I was happy to make a quick find of the cache.

Out on the Geo bike with AdrewSWRT after a hike yesterday, I must be made. Riding over 8km to the meet point before we set off, and then ended up clocking over 20km before I got home. I'm going to be sore tomorrow.

The Blackrat Series have been on our todo list since they started appearing but we just can't seem to find enough hours in the day.

Today Mrs Felix has an Annual Leave day so the Geo Cruiser was loaded with the Geo Bike and a plan was hatched for her to tackle the series this morning.

This was the 2nd to be tackled. Found with the neighbours dog barking non stop and only after walking face first into a spider web!
