Sorry, dont have enough time to maintain.

Hi there,

No sorry i only just temporarily disabled this cache last night, then checked on it and it had been muggled. I hve almost finished another cache to take its place.

Thanks

12-Jul-13
Lots of tree work been done here recently, so maybe it's gone missing! As owner hasn't replied to the previous cahers concerns then maybe it needs archived?

12-Jul-13
Sorry, ive been offline for a long time. I will check it out asap and replace if need. This cache is suprisingly difficult, having me not being able to find it sometimes but then coming back and finding it. The cache should not have been damaged if trees were cut down. Will check it out but i will temporarily disable it.

Went back today after yesterdays DNF. Had to take a round about route as muggles were playing sport and a city care crew were taking a lunch break right on the access I intended to use. After about 15 mins searching found what I thought was the likely container but it was empty. Rummaged around the area and found a full log page and a yellow found by sticker lying on the ground within a meter of container. Not sure if it had been muggled or they had just fallen out. Put them back in container and placed it back where I found it. My etrex was showing an accuracy error of 6 meters and was telling me i was 12 meters from GZ so im not sure if where I found it was where its supposed to be. Cache owner might like to check on it when next in area and it needs a new log.

Our first fail to find, so many posts that could be post #3. Will try again later as its only a short walk from home.

I dunno what happened with this one, but I couldnt find it. I am glad I dont have to live with a big fence like that for protection.
I will be back.
Cheers,
S.t.

This is one of the "I swear it wasnt there last time! Found it in a second after an hour of looking" caches.

Found this clever little hide after a rough scramble through bushes, perhaps there was an easier way!!! Nice hide in keeping with the surroundings. TFTC

Almost a dnf then remembered title. Tftc. Logbook needs replacing

A nice location for a cache

In the dark did some bush bashing. Getting there was harder than the finding. Must be friendly neighbors as they have an electric fence.

07-Apr-13
I've been staying nearby for the past 10 days but this was the first day I've had a chance to go for a wander around the area to look for a couple of caches. Loved this one - very good. Game, set, match!

03-Apr-13
Some originality shown here which is good to see.

5077. A gloomy rainy day and nothing much to do around home after completing some tasks, also one of our caches needed a new logbook, so off I went geocaching on the other side of town. This was relatively easy once I discarded by preconception about what to expect as a container! Certainly much easier with the information and a GPS! Thanks, Rodney.

06-Mar-13
No pencil so I didn't write on the log tftc a good hide

04-Mar-13
Out geocaching with granddaughter Genevieve (2) this morning. Unfortunately I forgot to take the GPS and relevant information but decided to go ahead anyway! Knew where the park was but had no idea where to look so we played in the park and looked in all sorts of places. No luck today so will look up the information and bring the GPS next time! Rodney.

Took Rosie for a walk in the park with Old Boots!. Initially we just looked around at random amoung the shrubs. When we failed to find it we retreated out on the grass and took a line from GZ to the nearest shrub trunk. Bingo. TFTC

Buried!!!

Quickly found, nice camo; TFTC

A quiet day for a caching drive around town. Another previously dnfed cache dealt to today. Lots of people using the facilities, well out of the way! Thanks for the hide.

05-Feb-13
Found eventually just before giving up. This cache was buried which was probably why we missed it last time and makes for an unnecessarily long and frustrating search. Have put some new log paper in cache.

Met up with some old friends from uni before they start heading back up North to finish their studies next week...

We decided to have a bit of a mini picnic in the park for the evening after I finished work, so we all met up, and picked this park.

Didn't have a cache for the day yet, and since this one was right here, we had to get it before we could start eating. So the 3 of us rummaged around like weirdo's in the bushes.

Now, normally, when I go caching with these friends, I find the cache instantly/almost instantly, and they think I have super powers... so today was a welcome change! I looked about, but couldn't spot it anywhere!! So rummaged around a bit more with almost no hope when one of my friends screamed out in absolute excitement that he had it!! He was so pumped to have finally spotted it first!! Smile Yaaay! Go him!! Smile

You really do need friends to find this one though I decided... so many possible spots!! ... luckily half of my friends in Christchurch were here for the occasion... yes. I counted that I only have 4 friends in this City... But expanding my horizons! Flatmates are now counted as friends, so I have 9 friends!! Hahaha.

TFTC!! Smile

Biked back for another attempt at this cache today. Dunno how I missed it last month. The log was found to be full so squeezed my name onto the front page among the printed writing. New Log required. Thanks for the cache.

Great little cache.

11-Jan-13
Very cool I little cache.

09-Jan-13
Bush bashed to get to GZ and then had no luck finding it in the dark.
Hopefully it is still there and just not found because my headlamp beam wasn't big enough to pick it out.

09-Jan-13
I wandered across the park after finding Alien Life form but after a fruitless 20 minutes of searching I gave up. I had a good idea what I was looking for but I had no success. Maybe the aliens have taken it!

After failing to find this cache on our previous visit, despite deducing, correctly, what we were looking for, today we eventually found it after another lengthy search. TFTC

15-Dec-12
I was excited about finding this cache, as it has so many favorite points. Unfortunately after an extensive search we were unsuccessful, and left covered in scratches.

15-Dec-12
cfahey1 and I spent a fruitless 30 minutes searching the area for this one, however we left empty-handed.

11-Dec-12
1 of 37 caches Mum and I found today in attempts to reach 1000cache finds by the end of the year.
We came back determined to walk away with a smilie today and ready to look as long as needed but the cache was found quite quickly. It was indeed what we expected it to be. Thanks for the cache Smile

07-Dec-12
Great hide. Cache made perfect sense once we found it.

07-Dec-12
Very very clever hide tftc

06-Dec-12
Spent my regulation 10 minutes searching before moving on. Either the hide is very good or my eyes are very bad. I'll put the cache on watch.

02-Dec-12
Yep fetched and signed.

02-Dec-12
The adjoining sports courts were very busy today so after quite awhile in the bush it was good to make the find. A clever hide!.
Thanks

After awhile without success we clicked to what we thought the cache camo would be but still couldnt find it. We walked away unhappy with a DNF but needed the time to complete other caches around this area. We may be back other time if the cache mojo is flowing. TFTC

01-Dec-12
Quick find.

627 - I'd been out to the market with a friend and on the way back I said I had been muggled last time I'd tried for this. A quick detour and we were on our way to GZ. No-one was about today, and no children over the fence either. Back onto the job and this time the cool cache was discovered and logged. TFTC, nice placement!

17-Nov-12
TFTC. I have been in this general area before, but not to this location. Really nice work here with the clue and cache placement, it works well.
A favourite vote from me.

Nice cache, yes very appropriate.
We must have spent the morning following Purdiepurdie around as log was signed the same date on several caches in the area. TFTH

Visited on a night out Geocaching with my Scouts. They had a brilliant time, and the travel bugs who were with me seemed pretty happy too!

11-Nov-12
Was catching up with a friend nearby so had a go at this on the way home. Unfortunately a nearby neighbour had a children's party and a number of the children decided to come out their back gate and say hi. Needless to say the hunt was over just as I was sure I was on to something. [:(!] At least I know where to come back to

11-Nov-12
Ah ha! Not being too familiar with the area the cache was not quite what I expected but it all made sense on my way out. So it wasn't found in the first place I looked and I will admit that the hint did help a lot. Very nice camo and placement. TFTC, Biggles.

Reperio at 1800.

Came by GZ with Roostaman on this our first day of our kiwi mega adventure, and whilst we had a good idea as to what to look for...it took a good 10 minutes to finally spot it as it really blends in with its surroundings.

Gratias grantn4.

Had a good idea of what to look for given the context but no sign after 20 minutes.

16-Sep-12
Great little container;- we had a real chuckle, particularly in the context of the area. Found quite quickly thank goodness. We might have been charged with loitering. Thanks.

Out and about on an evenings caching adventure. Should have stopped and thought a bit first on reaching GZ.....but thinking that I knew best I headed into the wilderness and spent a fruitless time wandering around. About to give up; but as a last chance I thought I should stop and think a bit. GPS says GZ is 'here' (middle of grass by fence) - cache clearly isn't....therefore closest spot where it could be is 'here'.....and there it was. Dur, could've saved a bit of time if I'd done that first up! Spent way to long wandering around. Luckily it was dark and I had the place to myself. Nicely done, Cheers ears.

15-Sep-12
Only had time for a quick look - nothing obvious, and nearby muggles. Will return when I have more time.

13-Sep-12
I was one of the "suspicious characters" mentioned below. We had been overthinking it, so when some fresh eyes arrived, the cache was eventually found.

13-Sep-12
A bit tricky for us at night.

13-Sep-12
Woo hoo, FTF 8.03am. Didn't expect that. Especially how close this is to some keen cachers. Great hide. Took me awhile to figure out what I was looking for. Then it popped out. Boy it's cold this morning.

We had given up and were heading home when we were joined by an eagle eyed cacher who found it without to much trouble. We all signed the log and went away happy. Deserves a favourite. TFTC

#409 2TF Easily spotted some suspicious looking characters lurking in the bushes but the cache took a bit longer to discover. Needed to borrow a dog for this one! Nice - a favourite from me too.
