Driving today from Blenheim to Nelson we took a loop via highway 1 to 63 and number 6, a nice tour through the country and so many caches. We stopped here and there with our muggle friends who were patient and just enjoyed our smiles when we found a cacheLike this one Tftc
Coming down the mountain after a night in Bushline Hut. Had an hour to kill before returning to Nelson, so what to do? Grab a few more caches of course! No problem grabbing this one, tftc!
GPS was around the place but had a look at the things around and quick find. Tftc
Marvellous weather for the last official week of winter, great afternoon to do the Peninsula walk. And hunt out some caches.
Quick find here, 17th (and last) of the day. Getting chilly as the sun drops below the horizon, time to head indoors

It has been a wonderful day caching.
Big thanks to my driver and geocaching minder "Lifestylea" for keeping me upright all day.

Only travelling up this road for the caches, so after a quick find of this one, we turned back to do the peninsula walk, thanks
Day 10 - Labour weekend extended road trip with Kiwicampnut - relocated to stay south of the ditch.
On our way out of St Arnaud. We haven't done the caching the area deserves, but got what we came for. One of us became hop-a-long, so park and grabs were mostly what we aimed for.
Thanks for the cache holymu

Having a weekend away in Nelson after a long lockdown Drove up to St Arnaud to enjoy some beautiful scenery and walks. A very cold start but we soon warmed up. Thanks to the COs - We can’t wait to come back TFTC
Due to NZ being at Alert level 4 and some people insisting on continuing to geocache and put others at risk I am disabling my caches until such time as it's safe to resume this activity.
Any logs I receive for finds during this time will be deleted. I don't care anymore about YOUR safety than you obviously do but I do care very much about others and want them to be safe so please do NOT look for any of my caches while they are disabled.
In the meantime, there's always plenty of puzzles to be solved or created but above all PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE!

A simple and quick find, spent an enjoyable time down this access road getting a few caches. TFTC holymu.
Today was St Arnaud.
I had done some caching in St Arnaud before, but it was a little bit on the way somewhere else, or a handful at the end of the day. Today I decided to make it the focus.
A nice day, and successful. Had a good look around town, the lake and some good walking tracks. Only a couple eluded me today, a haul of 27 including an oldie and a virtual before I decided that was enough. Thanks all COs, an enjoyable day.

Thanks. holymu for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 5258 for me.
This was the twelfth day of my driving trip down to Oamaru for Geofest 2017. I stopped every five to ten kms or so along the way to grab a cache. This expanded my driving time to a total of two weeks to get there and home again. I ended up going a total of 3,500 kms.
I am continuing the long drive back home and picking up caches along he way. TFTC.

Thought we would attempt this one, but with the 'alternate highway' nearby thought we may have a bit of traffic to deal with. As it turned out there was no-one around at all and we made a quick easy find. tftc.
A day in the Park whilst Streetgamer is at the gliding club down the road. A lovely spring day and a great opportunity to explore this area.
A busy wee junction but was able to sneak a gap in the regular traffic to dive in and make the find.
Thanks

Well a few months ago I didn't expect to be down this way quite so soon, but after having completed the requirements for the DGSc Challenge my very Good Wife surprised me for my birthday with some tickets from Hamilton to Nelson return so that we together could have a caching weekend. (now those that may know my wife wil understand that the terms caching and weekend wil ever rearly be used in the same sentence).
So of course the weekend was more about sightseeing in the limitied time that we hand and finding the 25 caches that were on my list which mainly included the older caches, earthcaches and large caches. In total we found 30 caches and covered 870kms while enjoying being in afar different environment than we were used to.
So taking the remaining part of the Friday off of work, and arriving in Nelson at 3pm it was a chance to grab the rental car and start by making our way to Reefton where we would spend our first night. The second night was to be spent in Punakaiki, so tonight we head to St Arnuard for a bit of a relax by the lake
This cache being the twenty fourth of the weekend. A quick little stop as we headed for our accomodation.
Thanks for the cache, Thanks for the placement
