Up in Cairns waiting to go visit my new beautiful granddaughter.
Drove to this GZ and started looking for this cache.
Geopartner gave up and started heading back to the hire car.
I just had one more look in a certain spot and came up with the cache.
Signed the log and returned to where we found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks biggles58 All good with this archived cache

Found while visiting from the South Coast of WA. Loved sitting in the dusk watching the wallabies. Clever camo cache that took a few minutes to spot.
Loved this sneaky one. Only our 2nd time with this type of cache. Found with Atlantis18 on our trip from the UK. Tftc
North Qld 2013. Day 19 Cairns to Port Douglas via Kuranda. I was looking for a cache and this seemed close to the highway, but actually ended up in a bit of a twist through the suburb. At GZ it bended in pretty well and I had a good look at several options before twigging to the correct one. Thanks.

Found this one with the geobro, Goldfinger777, on a geomission while on holidays at Port Douglas . Parked the car nearby and strolled down to the structure to start the search. After a bit of a look around, I had a hunch what I might be looking for and so I decided to examine several 'features' more closely. Hunch proved correct as I made the find [^]. I've always wanted to find one of these-so fave from me. Thanks for yet another, biggles58
Found this one quicker than I expected, was in the first spot that I searched.

Holy wallabies batman! In 20 years in this country I have never seen nor heard of so many wallabies in one place. After Fangsoki and I parked and made our way down an access path I was well surprised to see at least 150 wallabies staring at us, wondering who this intruder into their space was. One wonders what they congregate here for?
Down towards the cache and we thought we'd bumped into another cacher, a lass holding some device walking towards us. Turned out she was just and intrigued tourist wanting to take some photos. She moved along and we moved in to GZ. I looked about in vain as Fangsoki made a markedly easier find than I was expecting. Logbook signed and we were off. As we drove past from another angle, I spotted another massive amount of wallabies. What a place to see! Thanks for showing me this place, TFTC biggles58

Captain Terror and I were in the area and did a few caches.
We parked up nearby and stopped in our tracks. Holy honking wallabies. It was well creepy with hundreds of wallabies just staring at you. Moving along...!
We arrived at GZ to see a girl with some type of device near GZ. But it just transpired she was a European lassie wanting to take photos of the wallabies. She was not sure she could go down the path we came down. We told her to go for gold and stick with the path.
She motored down the path and we started the hunt. After about 5 minutes, I came up with the cunning blighter. It was in good condition. TFTC biggles58

After finding the right street to get to GZ was surprised to see so many kangaroos.
At GZ bear made a quick find of this one.
Thanks for bringing us here.

I have looked at this place from the bus driving by every day, and today I finally got of to grab the cache. As soon as I hopped off it started bucketing down rain the way only queensland can. I hid in the lee of the structue as I had my backpack with my computer and my book and my uni notes. From my awkward squatting position I could see something which looked just slightly out of place. Sure enought it was the cache! Tftc
On our visit to Cairns decided to do the northerly caches today. Took the long way round but because we have one of these caches we quickly identified the home of the beast.

Despite the fruit guy wondering what we were doing found this one .... Enjoyed the way this one blended in with surroundings
Funny hide, and a bit tricky too. After logging we walked along the field against Trinity beach and then we saw lots of wallabies (time 14:00). TFTC!
Having seen this cache before this one didn't take too long to spot. Good hide. TFTC
TFTC lots of skippies in the paddock next door! Grabbed this one on the way home from Cairns.

Quick fine on the way back from caching at Port Douglas. Plenty of Macropods sighted in the nearby paddock. TFTC SL {#81}.
09:30 - Found this cache together with Walterhellmut. Wow, what a hide. Well done biggles58. Although I have seen similar types before, it still took a while ... T4TC.
Avoloz and I were feeling for this cache at every possible and impossible, allowed and verboten corner. After quite a while it turned out that it was in open sight but camouflaged at its best.

An early evening visit to the GZ. A bit sloshy! Something must be leaking so don't wear your best shoes and decide to take a shortcut across the grassed area.
The GPS co-ordintaes were spot on and gave a very accurate indication as to where we should search.
After a few moments we had the cleverly disguised cache container in hand. SL and returned the container to await its next finder.
Thanks Biggles58 for another great hide.
