So sorry to lose this Turntable to another town.
Obviously the cache went with it. Thankfully there
were no TB's in it to be lost.
Thanks to all finders for their comments and Favourite
Points. Maybe we can find another great spot in
Deniliquin for another hide.
Thanks to Team_Ninja for verifying its removal.

I'm afraid the turntable has been removed. I haven't been to the site myself to confirm what is there now but I just saw a photo of it at the Mornington Tourist Railway in Melbourne, it has been relocated there for use by the tourist railway. Good to see it being reused but a shame for Deniliquin to loose such an interesting (and publicly accessible) railway relic.
Sorry to say that this cache is disabled until we find
out if it is still there as the Turntable is to be moved
south.
Thanks

you might need to have a look at GZ. The bulldozers have been here and completely removed everything except the turntable. We found a plastic tube where the GPS took us but it was empty with the top completely removed.
Disappointing result after getting all the clues.

If the Turntable is still there so will the cache. It is not a tube.
Our son will check it out tomorrow as we are in Alice Springs.
We will update asap.

Sixth cache of the day!
A nicely thought out puzzle with a brilliant hide! Looks like it was meant to be there.

Quite the construction, couldn't find the speed setting but suspect it wouldn't play my old 78rpm's anyway Really enjoyed the visit and the clever hide.

One of a couple of multis that I managed tyo get to today. Once the information was cobbled together it then took several minutes to locate what turned out to be a rather clever hide. Well done Little Squirrel and thanks.
Interesting site and easy questions. Great co-ords. Left travel bug. Left eraser took nothing.
Love this cache found it once before and brought fellow caches with me this time to show them. TFTC again.
Found this today in blistering 40°+ weather with Bazinga01 & Arkbell80 while camping in Deni.

When we found this cache, the lid doesn't firmly attach to the box any more. Appears the tabs have bent and don't lock in place.
Found today while visiting Deniliquin decided to try our luck on this one.
Soon found GZ after working out the clues.
It wasn't long before we had the cache in hand and the log stamped.

On arrival whilst looking around, was approached by a veteran cacher who gave us some tips and advice. Found cache, cool spot! Took nothing, left smurfette car.
This was our first find and a great one for the older kids. Very clever! Took yellow band and left santa. SL. Thanks Little Squirrell
found this with help from the wife

Nice multi, easily solved with accurate coords. Clever container. Lovely sunny day in Deni with Colin58
Nice and quiet around here on a Sunday morning, found the cache and it is a well made hide. TB still in cache, took pathtag and it is a very nice one. TFTC
In Deni for the weekend, thought we'd do some searching. Enjoyed finding this multi, the kids enjoyed looking around the trainline and turntable. Well hidden, took us some searching, TFTC
Up here to visit family after becoming an Aunty for the first time! Knocked this cache off with a bit of help from geo brothers and hubby TFTC
Wow! Took us a few visits to find this one! Well hidden. Tftc took travel bug

Loved this cache, it's officially the furthest cache North I've found in years. It took me a few minutes to find as I couldn't see anywhere to hide a decent sized container that was accessible without jumping in the pit. I decided to sit down on the edge to ponder where it could be hidden and soon spotted the cunning hide. Scores a favourite point from me!
The cache might need some TLC at some point in the future as the spray paint is coming off the container.
Left a travel bug for the next cacher.

Took me 3 days to find the cache, a little embarrassing to be honest. Very nicely disguised and a lot of fun.
After a great year at work I finally plan some leave at Christmas time to catch up with friends and family, and of course plan a few geocaching trips further afield than my ususal stomping grounds. Blacklegend had mentioned that he was heading south to Tocumwal for Christmas and was going to cache a bit in the area in the coming days. So after discussing his plans I was able to get my chores done at home in record time and then head north to meet up with him and 4 of his kids to tackle the Riverina Geocaching's Geotriad Tribute Series and a few extras along the way. It was a really long day for me but well worth the finds. Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. I had a great time. Great to play on this thing.
Nice one, solved the GZ co-ords and took the walk like I imagine all others have. Spent some time looking for the wrong type of camouflage, before re-reading previous logs. Some helpful clues in the list and combined with noting that the cache is large enough to hold "the original items", the cache was soon in my hands. TFTC. SL took smiley badge, left soldier.
GPS didn't help, a log had is in the area where we thought it might be, phone a friend was needed to pin point the search to a close by.
After answering the questions to get to the final location we arrived ready for a quick find. We spent about 15 minutes searching no gel from the GPS so it was a phone a friend that helped us to finally located this very well camouflaged cache. SL TNLN TFTC
Would loved to have been here in the age of steam and seen this in use. I lived in Deni 20 years agobut never knew this was here TFTC Little Squirrell
I came across one of these turn tables in Inglewood what a great story they tell. I was born in Inglewood and grew up in Wedderburn, being only young when moved away from the area I didn't know these existed till now and was surprised when reading the plaque that this came from Inglewood originally, after working out the maths , found quickly with HolzCotz , great hide, loved the container TFTC
After spending the night in Barham, depositing Granma at the club to listen to C&W music ALL day and then watching the bridge lifting up for an old paddle boat it was time to pop across to Deniliquin and collect the 6 remaining caches here.
Like all good multis this provided clear instructions that I failed to follow and managed to get my numbers mixed up. Once I was in the right spot it was an easy find. TFTC Little Squirell

A nice quick one as far as multi caches go! Quick gathering of the clues then a very quick walk around the other side, and used the clue to make the grab. Tnln tftc!
Find #322
This cache was put in place at a location I had thought to place one and was glad someone had also thought of it. On a recent visit to Deniliquin on business (groan!) and without a GPS, I took a picture of the plaque, returned home and did the calculations.
Today I arrived at GZ, parked the GeoCoach nearby and went off to search for the cache.
The metal work in the vicinity gave me signal bounce, but as per the clue, I quickly found the clever hide.
The Magellan did however use $1 Billion of technology to find a container that blended in well.
Thank you Little Squirrel for placing a cache here.

Mr Beetle grumbled and groaned when he realised this one was a multi. In his opinion they are always too open to interpretation!! But this one was great. We solved it easily and found the well constructed cache quickly. Thanks,
I forgot to log this one... Great location here and some well preserved history. Fav given. TFTC.
The Wench was keen to get out of the house and I had a GCA cache that needed replacing after being muggled so we decided on a trip to Wanganella and Conago.
Second GC cache stop after finding two GCA trig points nearby. I'd heard that this was a bit unusual and had some concerns that we could spend quite a lot of time here searching for the cache.
After working out the required numbers the gps insisted that I search near the drain. A bit of a think and a bit of searching in a more logical spot soon revealed the well designed cache.
Thank you Little Squirell for this cache.

Driving past, fast food restaurant was full of a bus load of teenagers... Mmm what to do?
Perhaps we could find a cache then return...
Thanks for bringing us here. Perhaps this is where Tim's love of trains started?
Enjoyed the search.

We did a nice round clean up run today starting at Barmah, then Mathoura, Deni' and last of all Tuppal.
We found this one with the help of the clue as the GPS had us out 48 metres... Great camo... TFTC

Great little multi and left up to Mr M to find it. He know about these things, you see. Returned to the truck to find it had a flat battery so asked a local guy in his driveway to come and help us which he did. Very nice bloke and we are very thankful to him. Dropped GC. TFTC
Out for a walk early before it gets to hot with geo family. Had to do this one today to fill a blank on the calendar.
Well after working out the wrong co-ords we rechecked and soon had cache in hand.
We printed this one out when first came on line and just found it today we never knew that there were any changes and had no additional hints so we did well.
Great multi and hide gains a favourite point. Took badge Left a shell.

I went for a drive today to see if I could get another FTF to finish off the year since my first cache find.
Arriving at the turntable I could see the plaque so I got out the car and got the numbers then hopped back in the car to enter them into the GPS. I was about to drive to the next stage when I thought, hey, it's a nice day, I'll just walk.
I had a bit of a look but then when I checked the hint I had it in seconds. That's a well made container.
I was able to claim the FTF prize and took the TB.
Thank you Little Squirell.
