Hubby fished, I looked, neither of us had any luck. Found rocks but no stumps. Recent earthworks may have taken its toll.
We didn't have any luck with this one however, there has been some recent earthworks so not sure if it is still there.
Went over the style and was starting my hunt when I came across a decomposing animal (one with half its skin on), that did that for me I thought I would move on. t4tc

Found cache quickly but spent approx. 15mins parked on the other side of the road in the pitch dark waiting for two fishing muggles to pack up their cars and leave so we could drive over and start looking. We didn't mind tho gave us a chance to look up the next couple of caches

Cool, wicked, amazing!! Haven't seen one like that before geogirl loved it!! Easy find.
Eventually found it due to its tricky disguise. Will be back to explore the forest more another time.
7 more sleeps till the fishing season opens... looks like a great spot to keep in mind when it does
Thanks for the cache bubbles1971

14 July 2013 15:53:49 A nice quick find by smelly belly 8, took a short stroll in the pine forest to enjoy the view. Long time since I have wondered into a pine forest. Thanks for showing us this gem of a spot.

I wasn't far away, so thought I may as well grab this one too. Thanks bubbles!

Time is running out. We leave the Launceston area in a few days, and there's still heaps of caches to find.
A nice, quick find. The guy fishing nearby hadn't caught anything so we will have to buy our fish today.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks bubbles1971 for the hunt today.

had a blonde moment with the clue till tattsus grabbed the cache then it all made sense. tftc
No fishing muggles today. Hint only made sense after finding GZ. Clever hide. TFTC.
Out and about with Tassieboy to pick up a few caches and do a real job on the way around.
I have seen this kind of hide before, so not that hard a find.
Nice area.

Went straight to it....seen a few up this way the same. Nice area to drop a line too. TFTC..Cheers.
Shocking awful weather but I might as well be trundling around the countryside tracking down the odd cache. Should have read all the clues, hints and directions to save myself stomping around in prickles. Very snakey looking area. TFTC
When we arrived near GZ we saw the fence stile and thought that it would provide easy access. On closer inspection we discovered that there wasn't a fence! So, that made access even easier. The object mentioned in the hint wasn't that obvious but a quick search and the location and cache was discovered. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC bubbles1971.

Worked out the hint and then found the hide. Must get back here for a fish TFTC
Quick find, the hardest part of this cache was writing on the log! Our pen was not in favour of the wax paper we have seen a little cache like this before, very clever TFTC. will have to come back on a sunnier day for a picnic and a fish )
After a tip from the CO (thanks) we had a better idea of GZ as our drive by the night before had us up at the armco so the tip is to go further south towards the woods. We thought we knew what the clue meant and on getting to GZ our suspicious where confirmed. We removed the camo and signed the log before re hiding. The river levels certinaly seem to rise in flood (photo od tree debris to be uploaded). TFTC

Worked out what we thought the hint meant before we got there and then had to find the cache. The Garmin had us 9 metres for the most obvious spot but found by mrs sharnie's tribe. Dropped off a frog nearby because we thought the cache name was appropriate. TFTC
A great day out on the geoharley to find this cache, a great spot for those interested to drop a line, have been here before to get another cache, but has now been archived! a great hide, enjoyed the challenge. T.F.T.C.
If it wasn't for the snaky reference I would never have found the cache as the GPSr had me on the road some 10m from gz. TNLN. TFTC!
First up the GPS wanted us on the road. While Mr B was having a 2nd go Mrs B stumbled across it. Liked the clever clue! It stumped us at 1st. Would have been a hard find if we hadn't worked it out. The river was flowing exceptionally well today but not a fisherman in sight. Guess they are all watching the footy. Thanks.
Found this cache during a road trip with Old Saint to find the Octogon Series in Port Sorell. We successfully found all 14 Octogon caches and another 14 or so as a bonus. It was a great and long day from Hobart, leaving at 7am and returning at 10pm.
This cache was not loaded into my GPS, but I spotted the new listing on my iphone and called by in the dark to look for it. Coordinates were loaded into the GPS, but were out by a little way, the cache being closer to the woods than the road as the GPS put it. A nice little hide, made harder as searching by torch light.

Hi Samsandyjessnat
An early morning start this morning (0500hrs) leaving home at 0600hrs in order to meet Budgietas in Hobart to travel to Devonport to try and complete the Octogon series by 2y's tassies Octogon Series.
Left Hobart around 0700hrs and found a couple of caches on the way before starting the series.
The weather gods were very kind to us today; sunny, warm and fine.
Had driven past this area on many an occasion but never diverted to get the caches in this area. However, today Budge was trying to help me eclipse my highest number of finds in a day. He diverted to allow me to make this find in this area. I thank him very much for so doing.
Got to the bridge just after dark, so the find had to be quick and by torch light. Upon arrival there were two muggles talking nearby, but one look at me and they were off. Made searching a bit easier in the dark. As the co-ords seemed to be a little out, it took us longer to find than we had anticipated. We were closer to the bush than we thought we should be. Found the cache and signed the log at 181915hrs. Now on to "Welcome to Rutherglen."
We achieved the objective of the day and I ended up with twenty-nine finds for the day, MY HIGHEST NUMBER OF FINDS IN A DAY.
Finally arrived back in Huonville at 2330hrs.
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.
