have been eyeing off searching for this cache for a while, and finally was able to go look for the cache, and when I did, it was found basically straight away. awesome cache, loved it! thanks!
Were going on a country road trip today LB, earthlight and myself are heading to Burra, the very long way, for an event later on tonight. On our way we have a scattering of caches we are planning to find.I have looked at this cache a number of times and today it was decided I was going for it. For future finders, dont rely on Google maps to get you to GZ!!TFTC DISKKeep smiling
Found it! Bit interesting turning off the bypass here! Lots of long grass too! #201 TFTC

The call came in yesterday from OZGrumpy if I wanted to join on a day caching in the Barossa.
This was the first of the day on the way up, parked, walked along the snake
Stamped as The Brown Family aka “the coloured mint tin by the sea people”

Thanks DISK for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #8677 on 11/6/2023 at 7:44 am
A day trip with friends in the Barossa area. Nice to be out and about enjoying a spot of caching, and time with friends. All caches in good condition unless stated otherwise.
I have been wanting this one for some time. Finally parked my helicopter nearby and made the find

I wouldn’t want to attempt this in heavy traffic, but no such problems on a Friday afternoon, and in and out without drama. Thanks DISK!
Finally! After many times last GZ I have intended to stop but either with someone or on the wrong side of it. Today I parked at the suggested co ords and made my way over to Gz in the long grass. The cache was easily found and is great condition
Today I headed north to Angle Vale/Gawler area to clean up the remaining caches I had left to find in the area, despite the car saying it was 43 degrees majority of the day the car was nice and cool. Total of 23 finds.

Found during a caching foray around Gawler for the afternoon before attending the Sandy Creek Sandybration event. (Great to catch up with the CO's at the event after a long break!). Thanks for the cache DISK!
Thought about this one several times as I was whizzing by but never at an appropriate time. Coordinates very accurate but terrain waiting understated at this time of the year with vegetation and weeds taller than me. A bit of Bush bashing required. Thanks Disk.
Headed to Gawler for the {International Geocaching Day - tea and tales [GC8VMAT]} event
This one i did my homework on before attempting to be able to get to it. As i approached i had no cars behind me at all and was excited. Hoping not to overshoot the road i started to slow right down.... so guess what i did?... aaaaargh! I was peeved, so round i go again, grrrr!
Eventually i made my way to this hide and the log was signed at 14:21 on Sat 15 Aug 2020.
So many times i have gone past this hide and today i finally snaffled it [^]
All is good and dry within the cache.

I’ve been meaning to find this cache for a long time. When the car overheated here tonight, I took the opportunity to locate & log another find.
Had to go around again as we missed it first time. Quick find and we enjoyed the close up look at the fence. TFTC
Too difficult in the dark with long dry grass.. will have to try in the daytime
Found!!!!! love the geocache area. We found the snake . This geocache holds lots of amazing stuff and toys. Though the grass is very long and itchy so DON’T wear shorts
Thanks DISK,

Having almost cleared my 24K circle of traditionals it was time to expand the circle to 42K and today I headed north then a bit west.
This was the first and was glad to spot the car tracks in at the parking co-ords and managed to park well away from the road, near the wall.
Then went looking for a cache.
Found what were obviously cache contents as there was a log in a zip bag but there was no container. Must try to remember to put some in the car.
Signed log and left as found.
Thanks for the cache DISK

Had so much fun looking for this in the wrong area DEFINITELY wear sturdy books and long pans during summer cos area is over grown and plenty snake housing areas. Looks like rabbits like it here too or great huge slitherer!

Out and about with TK2 and The Silver Snitch. Found en route between series Thanks for the cache!
Have driven by here many times so thought we'd make a special stop today
Got to GZ and couldn't see anything. Wouldn't want to see any real snakes here.

Another case by disc. It's great to be able to look around for a cache without feeling like you're being watched. Always wanted to view this art sculpture up close to. Thanks again.
So many times I have driven past here with Jack.
Tonight we found our way in and located the cache!
No pretty LED lights anymore, these and the bridge ones
all seemed a forgotten nicety
Still an impressive structure.

Finally managed to grab this one on our way up to Nuri. Not much traffic around, which made turning off to a safe parking location easy. A quick find and sign :c) TNLN. TFTC DISK!
Once we worked out the best approach in the maze of roads, finding GZ and the container was really easy. We picked up Bob the TB, 5 other TBs visited. TN, LN, SL. Thanks!
We found it. It was hard but heaps of fun it was moved though but we still found it
Hard but once found felt like an idiot. Someone must have move it from original place. Frank has nothing to do with cache
Nice cold and quite night to do some caches, have been wanting to do this one for a while so after almost driving past it managed to pick up this smiley, thanks disk again for a great cache.

Finally managed to stop for this one. Fortunately I was on my way home early on a Sunday morning after night shift so traffic was negligible. Unfortunately I was on the wrong side of The Snake Wall. I parked and walked the long way around ( which I have just now read is illegal :/ ) to begin my search in the bushes. Unfortunately I was wearing thongs and shorts. Those bushes are prickly!!! Fortunately the search didn't take too long and I soon had this large cache found and logged.
Great place to hide a cache. TNLNSL

Have driven past this one many times and never been brave enough to pull over, but traffic was light as dusk was falling and geo-kids thought it was now or never. Didn't think we'd find it as the dark crept in. Lovely large box. TFTC
Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.

On our tour of Australia via Oz Mega we are currently staying at Highway 1 Caravan Park.
A lateish start today as has become our custom . We joined forces with iluvtrekking so we could get the bikes out and about (needed their car for the bike rack)
What a fabulous day, great company some interesting caches and no rain!
Sadly there were a few DNF's, some tabletop dancing was required and too many muggles about to be completely successful.
All in all, though a successful fun day was had whilst finding geocaches! That's what Geocaching is all about isn't it.
Mr Felix has been eyeing this cache off since we were camped nearby a month ago. In the area today we just had to stop as we were going sailing past. Even managed to find the parking bay!c
Thanks for helping us meet our objective today with your cache.

We had intended doing some washing today, it was pouring with rain so we decided to drive up to Gawler for the day and pick up one or two caches along the way. Funny how things work out, it turned out to be a prefect day for drying the laundry, now we'll have to do it tomorow as we are due to move on, I bet it rains tomorrow. On the up side we found a some caches to brighted our day. Thanks for your cache DISK

Out with locus, clare007, 3LG and Earthlight for a day of caching. We attacked the Barossa region knowing that everyone would be able to get their fair share of caches. One of our party left at around four in the afternoon due to pre-existing commitments while the rest of us charged on to just before midnight, at which point we shut down the GPSr and made our way home. A great day with this one easily being my busiest caching day in terms of finds.
This find was number 1 of the full 99 for the day. TFTC DISK!

TFTC
Found it ok but had a long walk back with my bike, well off the main road, to the bike trail heading south. Its all in the planning
Caught up with Brisal5, a huge caching day ahead but had to stop and grab this one as we were so close
Thanks
Thanks
A hot last day of the year but with Mogni in town we thought we would end the year with a power trail. TDF was the order of the day. But we had to get there first.
Got a bit sidetracked in Gawler...got a cahe though! Then returning back to plan this appearred so we able to stop and get this as a bonus! I suffered cache blindness but luckily Mogni didn't and soon had the cache in hand! Thanks DISK
