Sorry to say that the old cache container has been found in dilapidated state. However the more later version has disappeared altogether.
Thanks to Gumnutbaby for the note. Confirming it was truly muggled. i have replaced with a different micro sized container container including logsheet and pencil. Happy caching!
Find but no log book there. A neighbour called out to me as I was crunching around in the bush so it may have been muggled?
Also it wasn’t in the thorny vines! I almost came a cropper on them.

Day 73 Mainland trip
Out and about with Tassie Trekkers hunting down caches after extending our stay here in the area. We had a great day, checking out some lovely local areas and parklands. We found an assortment of hides and hidey holes and some very creative ones and this was one. Deserves a favourite. TFTC

Caching in the area with whitewebbs and this was one we found.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good conditionand adding to our favourites.
Thanks Nottinghamers for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Upon arrival I thought mmmm that looks interesting and sure enough I was signing the log quickly after. TFTC
Tftc. Couple of minutes searching from the wrong place, because my GPSer did not want to decide if the GZ is here or there. Judging from the erosion, looks like someone other has also spent few times seeking from the wrong place. As that fitst place was empty, I widened the search area and found that familiar camo and the container.
Having received info that this one was missing, I have replaced the container and new logsheet. happy caching!
Defiantly need a geocaching eye to find it almost instantly even though coord didn't take us straight to GZ. Tftc
Thanks to the previous cacher for the note. I have replaced the log. Happy caching!
Once again another great cache and how it's hidden by the CO. Found quickly. TFTC
After being laid up for a couple of weeks it was good to get out and about down the GC a place I rarely visit let alone cache. Great to discover the back blocks around Robina and surrounds.
Another great hide
Another great hide
The promise of balmy weather and so we headed south to the goldie for a, er, gentle caching run. A couple of nice walks and the obligatory tree climb and naturally there was beer and a thunderstorm somewhere along the trail
Any chance of getting Ruzzelz home before he turns into a pumpkin was nixed after we swerved off the highway to look for these caches. Nottinghamers... Aaaaargh!
The path to GZ was wet and so were my sandshoes. We waded over the soggy grass and the fun began
Up and down and back'n forth and I didn't look there as my geo-buddy had already checked that spot and then there was nowhere else for me to look and so I looked there. Gotcha!!!
This cache is a unique twist on a hide I've seen before. Neat engineering and clever enough to be muggleproof. A FAVE point for your efforts here But we're not done yet.
TFTC Nottinghamers!

Geowife is in her element. She lurrrves this kind of cache. She found it...ohhhh awesome. ..nope that's not it...oh wait..yep that's it. Awesome cache guys.
A short stroll around to this one and I spotted it immediately as I own one somewhat similar. However, I like your design better, so I think I'll do some work on mine!
TFTC where all is fine. An FP from me.

Continuing on on our doggie walk and after deciding on doing these three Nottingham's Caches. Thankfully we got a park and after finding the first Cache we set off for Harcus Folly. We felt confident that we should manage this one too. I don't want to give any hints away but we thought Nottinghamers were a tad untruthful with this one After going to all the wrong places Mr Geo decided to "Think Nottingham's" and he had the Cache in his hot hands in no time. It was a fun find. Thanks for the smile and the fun Nottinghamers, we are now off to find the next one.
Love this kind of cache! Found this one too easily, only because I had done one of yours yesterday thank you for bringing me into here, nice spot with some unpleasant smells anything for a cache though right? Thank you again!!
Another great hiding place for a cache, well camouflaged. Couldn't sign the log as I lost my pen somewhere while hunting for caches!
I had wandered down to this park, coffee in hand to find the nearby 'upwardly mobile' cache, and rather than heading back the way I came after getting the smiley, I continued on down the path to do a blocky, which of course set me on a collision course with this cache.
Again, the provided coords I found to be spot on, so it happened that I found myself directed towards a feature I decided to inspect closer. After a moment or two I spied a differing direction in the grain and the cache was in hand.
That wasn't too painful, I thought to myself, but then again, I hadn't fried to extract the log yet. Thankfully, many an evening spent in Chinatown had prepared me for this moment and with a couple of twigs I soon makeshift tweezered myself out of that pickle as well.
To Nottinghamers, I saw marvellous job sir, an exceptional camo which blends on fantastically, making it all but invisible to passing muggles (and no doubt a few of is cachers too). I get the feeling that without my caffeine in hand, I may have struggled with this tricky wee micro.
Much obliged for its placement.
That's another smiley for me!

What a great cache, found it easy but hmmm how to hmmm got to be, YES!!!!! Thanks for a great inventive cache.
TFTC! Very creative smiles all round for this one.
We were nearly caught out by muggles on push bikes. Definitely need gumboots after the rain or wait a few days even the path will flood in areas.
In Saying that we enjoyed our walk. The Nottinghamers are very creative with their hides. This is the 2nd one of theirs I have found around the area. Very enjoyable walk with my baby girl.

Thanks to Kopje for the note. I have replaced the log but will endeavour to replace what has become a tattered container asap. Happy caching!
Nice stroll in the park with a nice hide at the end! Need a new log paper soon. Didn't have any with me... TFTC
Keeping my favorite points for my Australian visits - another for Nottinghamers. TFTC.
Early this morning, I picked up IolantheK. We set out to find a few caches on our way to an event this afternoon. I had a few selected that I needed for a challenge cache, but left the rest of the choices to her. After finding a nearby cache, we wandered down the path to this one. We searched and searched, without luck. I kept being distracted by things slightly further away, where I thought the cache might be. Eventually, IolantheK went back to look at something that I had previously looked at....and she spotted the clever hiding spot. We signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot before heading off to the next one
Road tripping today with Selva Girls We set off at 7am today from north Brisbane and are heading to Mt Tamborine to attend an Event this afternoon. Some selected caches will be targeted along the way to help SG finish a Challenge cache, plus a few extras
This one really did have us stumped for a while, and we even looked at the right thing and decided it was wrong A few minutes later a better look revealed the cache. Another favourite point gone TFTC, Nottinghamers.

"What folly!" I thought when MrG said he'd found the cache because I sure couldn't see it but that's because it was hidden differently to what I was expecting. Never expect the expected, I know that! Another great hide, thanks Nottinghamers.
Another afternoon out and about after work looking for a cache or 6.
Finding the access to this one was a lot easier than the last cache I went to as my maps show the bike path. [^]
A short stroll and I was soon at GZ.
Another quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Had an opportunity to get out today with my 2yo boy Riley and grab around 20 finds. Was happy with the day, finding new caches and some older ones I had been to before, but not been able to find. Got them all this time. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Glad to be able to return to this one, and after another good search, found what I needed. Another top hide from the Nottinghamers. TFTC and a fav point.

Got off work a little early today so with a half hour or so to spare I grabbed this one on my way home. Quick find TFTC SL.
I have inspected and found the ' çontainer' has been disturbed although the cache itself was intact. I will try to fix it asap.
Out on a half day caching with my 4yo daughter Natasha in the Gold Coast area today. Only 16 finds and a few DNF's today. Still a good clean up day.... Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.
Looked, looked and looked.... Think it may have been disturbed here. Pic attached. If not, I'll come back for another go.

Nice quick find for my cache number 29 on 29th day of August, almost there! Love the cache too, very unique thanks Nottinghamers
Found this one after finding 'the axe man cometh', albibops and I walked straight past it not realising it was here until we were on our way back to the car.
This is also another clever little cache which also deserves a FP from me.

Cache log seems to have dried out fully so I have left it for now. The cover has been modified to allow easier access. Happy. Caching
I was trying to find the easiest access to the other cache and found that it was easier to get to this one first.
An easy find and then a bit of wiggling to extract the cache. The log was a bit damp so I hunt it from a branch while I strolled down the path to the other cache and then had a panic moment when /i returned when I found that the log was not where I left it. Luckily it wasn't too far again. It was no completely dry so I made my mark and put it all back.

Followed the path down from Axe Men to a very quiet area. I don't think much goes on down this way. I found the cache right at the co-ords. It took a bit to get it out as some ants had built a nest around it but with a pair of tweezers I cleaned it up and got my name on the list.

Visiting from Newcastle, staying with my brother in Nerang, found with him (frayeromm), great work, gets a favorite, TFTC Nottinghamers!!
We had to do three caches today minimum to make our 1400th find, this happens to be our 1400th so thanks Nottinghamers for another great cache. Geodad enjoyed the walk between these two caches.
8305 caches found
quick find good hint
Took: Nothing

I have done a little bit of sanding and weeding at GZ so that the log is easily accessible and without danger to elf 'n safety. Thanks to agap2 and lat&longjunkie for their input. Happy caching.
After a little slip up with the satnav we arrived nearby to start sloshing our way to GZ.
Mr Gap had given this a bit of a wriggle but dismissed it and continued searching 'over there' while Mr L&L and I were still hovering around GZ but it was Mr L&L that noticed something not quite right....
after a little gentle persuasion it was time to try a bit more encouragement so while I held onto what should have made it come out Mr L&L whipped out his deadly extraction tool aka pocket knife and helped the prising process.....it did start to budge and all was going swimmingly well until it 'popped' out suddenly and the knife blade slipped off and stuck my hand, I felt it but I quickly put it behind my back not really wanting to see what had happened....poor Mr L&L I think he felt worse than my hand did.
It was only a little cut and it didn't bleed too bad and I know when I come home with an injury from caching I have had a good day out
or course to hear Mr Gap whining about his splinter he got at the same cache from a silly little vine you would think that was worse and we had to listen too it for the rest of the day
all in all it was an enjoyable cache with an interesting container I enjoyed this one TFTC

We arrived at the nearest St..... and I ask Mr LLJ..... Why are we on this side??? Oh, SatNav!! So headed over to the other side and started a very wet walk to GZ.
I glanced at the cache, but dismissed it and kept searching, but Mr LLJ saw something I didn't.... well, what do you know!!
The extraction with the pocket knife was probably not the best concieved idea as the cache suddenly came out and Ms Wig withdrew her finger... not quite just in time!!
Then after replacing it all, I suddenly became entwined in a very nasty thorny vine.... a slow extraction of myself, and we were back on our way to the next one.
Clever hide, thanks Nottinghamers.

This is the second time I've made the mistake of following the in-car GPSr and ending up on the wrong side of these tracks . Of course, it wasn't until I drove into the correct street that I realised that. "Hey, I've been here", I said to "PigWig2" and "Agap2". So, off we went through the muddy grass and puddled track to find a couple of caches. I wasn't the first to give GZ the once over, but I did happen to notice an anomaly with it . We then set about removing the cache. All the recent wet weather has made this very difficult, but we managed to get at the logbook. Apart from Mr Gap being impaled on thorns and me stabbing Ms Wig , it went quite well [^]. Thanks for the cache and the chance to revisit this area. Perhaps I'll remember the parking issue ... next time .
I have replaced the container and log, hopefully Mother Nature will be kind for a while! Happy caching.
Mother nature indeed has wreaked havoc here so I am disabling for a wee while until I can get a new 'container' made up. Thanks to Herbz for the info.
The park was very wet after the recent storms and in some places the path was still flooded. We had quite a hunt around at GZ but came up empty handed. We widened the search area and Mr. Herbz found something. It looks like we found the top part of the container about 10m away in a bush. We guess the bottom part may have floated off so we had another look around but to no avail. We still managed to sign the log though and left the part we did find as close to GZ as our GPSr would get us. This one probably needs a quick check over. TFTC Nottinghammers.
I set off for a walk in the steamy afternoon weather, unsure if the rain was going to start pouring. As it turned out there was no downpoiur and I soon found this nice hide. What a cool name! Thanks for the cache.
Luckily I've made a find here before so we were able to find the access way quickly this time. Great hide.

Bristracker surprized me today by being in town and available for some geocaching. This was my first and her second today. Nottinghamers - you never fail to please. This is another of your great caches. Thanks for the fun and the nice quick find today.
Out for some caching fun on a lovely suny weekday and this one was certainly fun. Thanks for a secluded hide. no worries about muggles because it wasn't early morning or late afternoon. And the train rushed past as part of the experience lol.
Walking from 'Stone The Crows' on such a windy day, arrived at gz and spied the likely hiding spot, sure enough we were right and the cache was retrieved and signed. Love the effort.
Thanks Nottinghamers.
Thanks Nottinghamers.
Found on a nice leisurely stroll through yet another park used by the Nottinghamers. They sure know how to encourage people to get out their and visit their local neighborhood. Great idea for a cache container that I might just copy back in the UK. TFTC. SL.
We were spending the day sussing out the original Gold Coast route around the Merrimac/Worongary area when our GPSr reminded us that there was still one Nottinghamers cache in the area we missed from our last visit.
The clues were kinda cryptic and we wondered what we would find. Sure enough the hiding spot was very clever.
Thanks for the cache.

GPSr led us straight to GZ and a suspect item was in sight. Nice and creative. Thanks - Found with JJBoards.
Oops!!! I totally forgot to log this find from Sunday morning until now (Wednesday arvo).
Anyway..... I was zipping around the place doing some chores and took a slight detour to track this one down on the way to Robina Town Centre.
It was a muggle-free walk to the cache and the clever hiding spot was soon sussed out.
Another great camo. Thanks for the cache Nottinghammers.
Cheers!!

I was just back from Sydney and wanted to get caches in 2 states in one day apart from Coolangatta/Tweed.
This one popped up as recently published and handy to the Motorway so even though it was after dark it was in our targets.
I had previously got The Axe Man Cometh so the way in was known to me.
Geo Mum (Wife) and I (Geo Dad) headed off with iPhone Apps for torches.
Part of the way was lit by path side lamps, but eventually we plunged into the dark unknown (I know a bit dramatic, just setting the scene)
On approach to GZ I immediately knew where the cache was hidden so it was a very quick find.
Thanks Nottinghamers TFTC SL

My first FTF!! A month of firsts for me. First 100 finds, first puzzle cache, first multi's on my own, um and I actually beat Aussie Liahona to a FTF! Now that is a feat. Thanks Nottinghamers as part of the joy of the find is the way you do things.
Congratulations Perusal on your FTF. We loved your log-lol. I'm sitting under the awning of our caravan up on sunny coast (which is not all that sunny right now) and thought I'd check my emails. NNOOO a new cache was published not far from home!! Ha, ha, lol. We bet its a good one too being by the Nottinghamers. Thanks for a new cache Nottinghamers - we'll look forward to the hunt when we come back home.
