Went looking for cache and all we found was the soaked through log book. Have messaged owner letting them know what we unfortunately found.
Hope it gets replaced as its a great location.

I had heard of this park over the years but this was the first time we visited.
Nature is reclaiming the area and the "track" is under attack from trees and grasses but still must hold many great memories for lots of folk.
Log signed and the cache replaced as found.

I have walked passed this spot for years not knowing there was a cache there... amazing what you pass by in life. Moshi Dog attracted a muggle dog...nearly exposed the cache. PS Sometimes geocachers' photos give too much away.

Just as I was parking the heavens opened up with a massive crack of thunder , great caching in the rain again. Seems to be a common theme for the blue mtns. Found a car tb and left different car tb in its place. Quite apt considering the history here.

On our morning trip around Katoomba, before checking out from the Heritage where we stayed over night. The history was very interesting, reading on the sign near GZ. The cache was quicly located, just had some trouble extracting it.
When having put it back again and ready to head back to the car, a female muggle passed by and asked 'Any success?'

Cache was just off to the right of where we started looking. I spotted cache then surprisingly acquired the container. Took nothing left nothing. Great bit of history to read just before gz.

I attended a race meeting here many years ago. Today we were bird watching and it was interesting to find discover the history of the place and see it regenerating.
Thanks for the cache.

Not a lucky day for us. Looked in all the 'obvious' places, but no go. Great bit of history, thanks for bringing us to this spot.
It has taken me a year to get round to look for this c ache and will give it a point for bringing me to the site TFTC
A quick find today. Which was good as I had spent most of my energy in Pilchers canyon, and the heat was getting to me.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found on a family holiday in the Blue Mountains. A quick find on our way back home to Sydney. 30th find for the trip.
Very interesting history at this site, both the motor racing circuit and the swimming pool with Catalina aircraft which used to be in the middle of it. Spent about an hour wandering around the site reading the info signs and generally taking in all the history. Definitely worthy of a Favorite point from us.
TN but added a 1964 Australian Penny to the nice little coin stash.
Thanks All Strung Out for bringing us to this interesting part of Katoomba, and for the cache.

Why couldn't I see this in the light of day last week?! Thanx silveroranges for the hint. Nice to meet you.
Quick and easy find, as I spotted a likely location as I approached GZ and was rewarded with a cache. It is such a shame to see motorsport venues such as this fall into disuse and fade from memory. Thanks All Strung Out for the cache.

Had a short look for this previously on our first day Geocaching. Came bike riding today so decide to try again. About to give up then found it. Thanks
Beautiful spring afternoon in Katoomba.

Cache was found without issue and I was road out of town.
Thanks for another one All Strung Out.....

I certainly didn't know of the very interesting history of this place so thanks for bringing us here. Cache took a minute but not too long and walked along part of that old track. TFTC!
Why is this such a hidden secret? I have spent so much time in the Blue Mountains and never knew about it Thx for showing us this place!
I'm afraid that due to the mist and rain this was a park and grab for us as we had been out in it for a while and were by this stage getting rather wet. Dropped off TB. This park has an interesting history and it would have been good to explore it a little more. TFTC
Found it with Ben. Nice hide. Didn't take too long. TFTC. Btw, there is no pen. We didn't have one spare but will drop one off when we get a chance.
Found it! Was a hard find to try to use with no satellite connection but was worth while!
Has a bit of rubbish which needs cleaning out (dummy, eclipse box, ETC

I remember coming here in the early 60s with my parents to watch the car racing. I always thought it was strange to have a car track in Katoomba.
The cache was in the obvious spot, thanks ASO.

We had very nice trip to Blue Mountains. The weather was beautiful. On the way were takebreathing views. We found 19 caches. Thank you all owners fot them. Greetings from the Czech Republic.
Who knew this circuit existed? Interesting piece of history! On a quick look through the box we couldn't see anything resembling a trackable?
