Logs
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in beautiful Port Elliot for a few days to cache the area. Heading to Victor Harbour on a cold day. Found 15 mts from where gz led us and not near the fence! Thanks for the find. LCNU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Our last day in Port Elliot finds us cleaning up a few more caches before we hit the road again. TFTC LNCU.
Viking Festival done and dusted, heading out today with sandelf to find some more cachesLike a previous finder we found tweet tweet first and came back with a better idea for finding this one. Coords were a bit wonky here.
Woo hoo. Came back and now can log as a find. After finding tweet tweet I knew what I was looking for TFTC
Thanks spuddymoore and moores@ Victor for bringing us here and maintaining this cache tftc
Found while caching around Victor Harbor for the day. Thanks for the cache spuddymoore and moores@victor!
Don't feel very safe doing these busy road cache... Going home for a cup of tea
Found it more by good luck than anything. A considerable distance from GZ lying on the ground and definitely not micro. Tftc
GPS was jumping around a little, so we expanded our search area. As soon as we did, we made the quick find. Tftc
Drove down this way with Purrfect Di & Jack.
Combined a relaxing spa getaway with a bit of caching fun
Found your cache along the way.
Spot on coordinates, but the little birdie may have fallen from its twee ...
Appreciation goes to spuddymoore for placing and maintaining this one

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Stay safe when caching. Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only ones you share and pass on
2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through
Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]
Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!
Thanks so much to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting
[:o)]

Todays weather forecast windy with showers didnt seem too bad, so we headed out to tackle a few caches well that soon changed to really really windy, so only a few smilies added to our map today.
Not sure what is happening with this cache, maybe its a throwdown? found 19metres away after reading the last log. Found at s35 31.267 e138 37.231

In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Really easy find. Not sure if it is meant to be where it is though because of how easy it was. TFTC
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

I don't think this cache is as it should be. I found the cache camo on the ground in the open and the cache container nearby. TFTC
after voting i came up to find a few caches in victor harbour. After doing some multi's on route and quite a few detours getting here, i only got as close as the two nearby trails before heading home ( with a few more detours ) in the dark. quick find.
Out with TKJNR for a caching afternoon, we dropped off the rest of teamkronklee to check out some native animals. Was a fantastic day weather wise and after walking in the wrong direction I assessed where we were and changed our approach to make the find. TFTC!
Today we headed to Victor Harbor to cache. It took a little while to locate this cache. When it wasn't found at the published coordinates, we widened the search area and finally found the cache about 17m away. This was the second of this this cache type that we had found today. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks spuddymoore and moores@victor for the cache.
As Peter Plus once sang -
Didn't we have a lovely time - the day we went to Victor.

[:o)]
Yes I did, with Anymules and sometimes Muff1 and later mogni. Luckily no car problems and quite a few caches found.
Oh dear, somebody seems to have moved GZ. The tweet is still attached to what was once further along the road! Once again a bit of TLC is needed here! [:X]

We feel pretty certain that we have already done this cache before a few years back, just another of those caches that we have neglected to log. SL TFTC
Found at 17:34 by Olga, about 10m from where the GPS would have us.
The cache was on the ground, but we thought the plastic pot was supposed to have something to do with the hide. We weren't sure the correct way to re-hide, but we made a guess.

A quick park and grab. Sadly the cache hide needs some work Not quite how it should look....
Thanks to spuddymoore from mogni

Found it with Beary Organised who found it on 6/4/2018. She knew what I should look for it is now lying on the ground on broken limb needs some tlc. 4 people have logged they have found it since her but NO signatures in log book. TFTC TNLNSL
Quick easy find. Not many places it could be. Knew what I was looking for. TFTC TNLNSL
Today was a really good day for a long drive, we came to Victor Harbour to visit our friends and we hunt caches with many fav points, TFTFun
I had and appointment in Victor Harbor today, what a lovely trip down there, and of course I needed to stop for a handful of caches.
Lovely cache container, but it is now under another tree so the coords are a little out, but still an easy find.
Thanks so much for the caches spuddymoore!

Out & about with froghoppin & clare007 on this hot afternoon...
It was obvious that the tree at GZ was almost gone...only a stump left...
Reading past logs we noticed it had been moved...2 of us took the tree to the left & 2 of us took the tree on the right...
Cache located quickly at **S 35 31.268 E 138 37.229**...20m from GZ...

I took weredunn's advice & walked to the nearest tree with Mr Froghoppin.
The coordinates were out by around 11 metres.
Thanks for the cache Spuddymoore and moores@victor

Found at last, not sure it is still where it is supposed to be. Found with KLCed, TFTC
Went to GZ, searched for a few mins but found nothing, then went to a nearby tree and made the find. Signed log
Easy find- container looks great. Definitely look dodgy walking down the road at this time of night . TFTC
On my way to work after volunteering at my daughter's school camp just up the road, this was a quick stop and find. I'm sure I looked a bit peculiar crouched behind the vegetation, but the things we do for a find....
Tweety bird was on the ground. We set him up a bit better than we found him.TFTC
As others mentioned, the branch is now on the ground but cache is still attached. Approx 16m from posted coords. TFTC
Day Eight of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I cruised around the Victor Harbor area collecting (or not) caches at random. We started with the AFL series then back for lunch, then out to Middleton and back.
Spotted the SteamRanger, but there was no steam today.
Now this is a familiar looking cache! I think we saw something like this around the corner!
The bird was present in this one, but the branch was on the ground (under the tree, a distance from GZ)
Thanks, Robmc.

#11703. Day 8 of our SA holiday. Robmc and I are taking a rest after our 30km bike ride yesterday. Back into the geo-chariot we went and gathered up a range of caches and more DNF's on our journey. We did the AFL series and a few more before lunch and after lunch we gathered up a few around Middleton and more on the way back to VH. Oh dear, there are so many caches around here that need so much maintenance and TLC.
Unfortunately tweetie was on the ground. The branch with nest attached was 16 metres from where the GPS was telling us to look. The branch actually matched the tree further along the road, but that looked dead. Needs maintenance.
Thanks spuddymoore,

Taking advantage of a long weekend and beautiful weather we decided to spend a day caching in the area. The cache was in good condition on the ground. A quick find at GZ. TFTC
Found on ground looks like branch has broken off needs maintenance great cache idea though TFTC
Now that is very cool I love creative hides like this; fav point from me

Mr Tardis and Mr Scoobster were out for a caching run around the Victor Harbor area while spending a few days at the caravan park.
Mr Tardis had an idea of what this one would be, and found it in the first place we looked - don't you just love it when that happens? A nice bit of Camo around the cache.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache spuddymoore.

Hi there spuddymoore.
We found your cache **"Tweet!"** at 11:01:00 AM today, so this now makes our find count 12757.
We are camped at the Goolwa caravan park for a few days & our cache run today took us to a lot of spuddymore caches as we traveled in a big circle . We ended up logging 33 and DNFing 3.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in a fair condition. (It looks like the log has been recently replaced).
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
