We were excited about the 5 difficulty but as others have said WP2 is gone. We then tried two different (large) areas for the final without joy.
Can the owner please replace or change WP2?
Can the owner please replace or change WP2?
Did the wander round and got to the final to find it muggled so replaced with temporary log but it will need attention. T4tc
Found a shady place to park by the hall then ventured forth for more caching in the hot afternoon sun. No problems with WP1 and then it was off to the second WP. Unfortunately, my experience here was much like Rudy355's, right down to the old film can. From here all I could do was follow my nose and look for likely hidey spots. Took a while, but I got there in the end. Cache lid seems to be missing and the log has been signed by a muggle and was found near to the rest of the container. I signed the log and put it back in the lidless container and placed it all back. Cache is need of owner intervention I think. Cheers for the multi cache!
This time was able to read the NFC tag, however where that info took me I couldn't find any QR.
Downloaded a NFC App onto my LG Smartphone , found the Tag but no-go. Found something that matched the clue for WP2 but only saw an empty black plastic film container. [?][?][?] Thx for the info anyhow
Replaced NFC Tag with one compatible with Samsung S4's.
Also replaced cache container due to lid problems.

Tried 7 different apps and all came up with incomparable tag or similar wording. Would like to complete this in the manner intended so gave up at this point.
Well I can't really log this as found because I had previously found it without any idea about it, the local kids have managed to find it and take all the bits (maybe you could move it?) but I did techniqually find it ? Anyway nice container, good camo despot the kids and love the effort of what the cach provides. I did actually try to do it with my sisters phone with no luck!
Pottering around today, picking up particular caches to meet our GIO efforts. We were armed with the correct technology, although were stumped when the NFC, we are still none the wiser on how it should work. So set off armed just with clue to find WP2. At least the QR code reader works. We then headed to the final, and were asked by a group of kids nearby if we were geocachers!! So we had help to retrieve this one, and spent some time showing them how a gps works etc. Because they knew where this was, hopefully, it is safe for the future finders. They were certainly interested in it all. SL. TFTC.
Only needed this cache to complete my Geolicence Provisional D Class. Only problem, I didn't have required equipment and had NFC (No F... Clue) who I could borrow said equipment form (well actually I did, but they were still at work and I had time now).
So decided to have a go using the "Special" equipment I did possess, my brain - well hubby says it's pretty "special" [B)] - I pretend he's being nice.
So using NFC (Nifty Focussed Calculations) I soon had cache in hand. TFTC

We are delighted to claim this. We have very few 5's and needed one for the GIO challenges. Reading the logs made this look doable but tricky but we made short work of it unlike the dramas we often have on 1/1's!!
We researched NFC readers but it appeared "brand" was important. Rather than download several we thought let's just wander and try to find wp2. We got there nearly as quickly as we would have reached wp1. Our QR reader gave an immediate result but as others reported the coords looked off. Again consulted the hint and the container was found in the first place we seriously looked. Signed and away wo anyone noticing our caching activity and the hall was pretty busy. Loved the idea for the multi, the execution, location and the end result. Smiles on our faces and on our profile. A fav from us. PINO TFTC

Headed back over to Herald Island today after an unsuccessful attempt of another cache nearby a few days earlier. We had found the earlier version of this cache and had some ideas of where the cache maybe hidden. That hunch turned out to be successful with the cache in hand reasonably quickly. One of the clips holding the lid on is broken which may allow water to get in. Nice concept for a multi cache. TFTC.
This cache formed part of a joint attack on the Hobsonville area by KiwifruitsNZ, Vamber and alpenmilch80.
This one almost broke us!
Found the first waypoint quickly (though did need to "remove" some small children!), but it was the second waypoint that had us searching for over 30 mins - before contacting the owner to find that the coordinates were slightly out!
Once we found the 2nd waypoint, our day was not over! After several scratches and sore knees, we finally had this one in hand! Long arms help!

This cache was part of our day full of caching of the Hobsonville area with KiwifruitsNZ and alpenmilch80.
This cache had been on the to do list for awhile (ever since I purchased my new smartphone!), and since we were in the area, we thought it would be a good idea to make it find #700!
The first waypoint was found quickly, once we kindly got the young boys playing around the hall to move away. However, finding the second waypoint proved more difficult, as the co-ordinates lead us more towards someone's front yard, rather than into the bush. A quick contact of the CO, and we were soon pointed in the right direction. Retrieval of final was relatively straightforward, but long arms were definitely needed! Like others before us had mentioned, we found the container without a logbook and the lid removed, hopefully securely (it's broken) and replaced the logbook with a sheet of paper and a little zippy bag.
TFTC, happy it's our 700th!

Visited after the event at New Brew at night to cross off another gap in my D/T grid. Arrived and found the NFC tag easily enough. Downloaded an NFC reader app and it read the tag fine however I couldn't figure out how to get any usable data to find the next coordinates. Tried a few more apps to no luck.
Decided to go wandering and managed to find WP2 thanks to the hint. Had to take a picture of it and get back into mobile data range to get the coordinates out of it (it looks like Google Googles needs to be connectivity to read QR codes).
Made my way to GZ but couldn't initially find the cache. Enlarged my search area and eventually uncovered the cache which seemed a little out from the final coordinates.
Nonetheless thanks, it was an challenging and enjoyable cache to find at night.

Enjoyed today a long and exiting caching day out in Hobsonville with KiwifruitsNZ and Vamber.
As the name already indicates this multi does promise quite a journey around the area full with new and old technologies. Starting at WP1 Vamber used her new smartphone to retrieve the coordinates via the NFC function.
At GZ no find was achieved so we tried to locate it via the hint. Off we were searching around the whole area but no luck either for quite some time. Team Vamber and I were still searching at the given coords when we heard the relieving sound of KiwifruitsNZ's “found it”.
At the finial WP3 I found a container which looked like the cache but my arms definitive were not in reaching zone. Thanks to our long handed team member the cache was soon recovered (including the lost and broken lid). ))

Found it with help from cache owner as nfc was malfuncioning. Easy find after found second stage. Final was open and possibly out of place with no log book. Fantastic idea for cache.. very cool.. tftc
Had to resort to phoning the cache owner when the NFC phone app wouldn't work. Thanks Chris! He kindly directed us to the next stage and from then on it was easy. The final coordinates were slightly but it was obvious where the cache was as it was slightly out in open with the lid off. There's no logbook and the lid is broken. We tucked it away again but it possibly needs some TLC.
A really clever idea for a cache.

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We revisited the Whenuapai hall today after Zork V kindly let us know that WP2 had been replaced. Found WP2 easily enough this time and then found the final after a short search. Thanks for the multi cache and introducing us to some new technology!
Picked up Sillen TB, who has sitting here for a few months.

Had been wanting to do this one for a while, but unfortunately our smart phones weren't smart enough! A visiting family member had a Galaxy SIII, so we seized the opportunity to use it and went out to Whenuapai today to try for the cache. We quickly spotted what we needed at WP1, scanned it and found the co-ordinates for WP2. We then spent a while searching around WP2, but couldn't find any QR barcodes so that's as far as we got! The NFC tag was a pretty cool piece of technology though.
10128… The large Ent protecting the first waypoint is no more, amazed at the amount of recent storm damage in the area. No problems decoding the various technological puzzles, however the decoded QR coordinates were out by 10m for us, found using the clue and expanding our search zone. Lots of renovation work at the Hall. Nicely done, many thanks.

Have been to this hall on a number of occasions finding caches, the variety of technology required to locate this one! Thanks for your efforts in setting this one up. Good sized container! TFTC

I had fiddled around the inter-webby thing trying to find an app that would work on my not-so-smart phone. Once I had all the electrichery stuff I thought I needed I headed out only to find the some-one had made off with the first WP!!??! A PAF to the CO soon put me on track and the rest of the multi was completed without any dramas. Thanks.
We did the original, did the UV and now a new type of technology. What will they think of next??? Nice to have a different type of tech to use and cache was in a great place. Found the remains of the original cache while we were wandering about so removed it so as not to cause any confusion. Thanks for the cache and another multi to boost our numbers.
Met up with a bunch of other cachers here for a group hunt for this new cache. Certainly fun to use some new technology, and good to work through this fun little multi. I never did quite get around to doing the UV edition... TFTC!!!
Made a plan to meet up here with "the boys" to hunt out this and another cache round the corner. Having done the previous UV one round here we were pretty use to the area. With the appropriate technology we were soon on our way to the second stage, and then onto the final. Nice little wander on a pleasant evening. Thanks for the chance to try out some new technology. TFTC
I was part of a team of like minded cachers who met up to go for a hunt through some bush, across a tennis court (during a game- no it didn't look odd, 5 people wandering out of some bush a through the game...) and on to a nicely hidden cache. Thanks to evilno9 for securing the required technology to make this mini event happen. Thanks for the cache and the technological fun.
Drove here with evilno9 and mel ramsay. Met mike-miss, FMZ and ishoot at the carpark. Once the team was all ready to go, Samsung SIII was used to locate the first set of coordinates. Once the coordinates were located we moved on to next stage and again it was an easy find as per the hint. Got to the final very easily. In the process we might have scared little kids playing tennis as we decided to walk around them, O well we did apology and carried on.

When this one was published the eye lit up as we'd recently acquired a bunch of NFC capable phones at work and as the trainer of such devices I was able to borrow one for the night and round up some troops to help with the hunt.
With the NFC working a treat and doing its thing as it should, the rest was all pretty straightforward. Managed to get a few bemused looks from the kids playing tennis as we inadvertently interrupted their tennis game but all good otherwise. Awesome use of the technology available. TFTC

Saw this one published, and with the 5star difficulty, i took interest in what it was all about. I had never heard of NFC prior to the listing of this new cache but now, i know a great deal!
I got a call from evilno9 to head out here with a bunch of keen cachers, as he had aquired an SIII for the night. Great to be able to put new technology to good use!! I really enjoy these types of caches!
Found the final easily albeit interrupting a kids tennis game while we walked across the court. Thanks Zork V for a great multi!

Late today we noticed that another new cache had been published quite close to home. Looked it up and read about the technology needed. We have a fairly smart phone, so we headed off to the Hall to see what it could make of this new multi - and soon had the co-ords for the final. Ain't technology wonderful!
Made the find at 6.30pm for our second FTF of the day - and our third FTF Behind the Hall. Many thanks.
