I'm sorry to say this one has been washed away. Geodad and I will come up with a replacement soon. Thanks for all the visits.
We enjoyed our walk to the cache but we didn't come the way as described in the description. We walked along a beach after finding a pedestrian access between houses. From there we went on to another cache at the end of this lovely beach. Certainly a lovely spot, thanks for showing it to us. Deserves a favourite. TFTC
Found 23/4/16 @ 5:00 pm.
Visiting Eden for a couple of weeks with the doggies and new camper trailer, we figured we'd grab a few caches as well. This fella was immediately on the list as we'd timed it wrong last time and the estuary (is it called that?) was too deep to cross.
Today I came prepared, well at least I thought so. I checked the tides online and made sure I had shorts and thongs on just in case.
We arrived from the South side with the two dogs in tow. The tide was coming in, but it looked possible. Off I went... and down to mid thigh. Hmm, deeper than I thought.
Just as I was about to call out to Mr.Kalianda to be careful, he was in and crossing as well. Clearly he didn't see just how far it had come up my legs (wetting my shorts) and he didn't think to empty his pockets first. Tirns out that was a mistake.
He almost made it across when he stumbled and almost fell over. He got his footing but not before his wallet, the car keys, cigarettes and lighter AND his phone got a dunking.
Luckily, the phone survived, the wallet will dry out and the car keys still work. Unfortunately (haha, not!) the cigarettes and lighter probably won't. Bummer, he moght have to give up...
Anyway, on to the cache which was quickly found in the likely location.
With the log signed, we were off again.
Would you believe there's a very well maintained walking path that goes directly to this cache that we could have taken? With no water crossings? Oops, don't think I'll live this one down for a while!!
Thanks raspberryvinegar for the cache and the adventure.
* There was one TB in the cache, it seems to have been there for just over a month. If it's still there when we head back to Vic, we'll swing back past and move it on.
Via the dry route... urgh, he's still complaining!

Nice find with goeson dropped off a tb it the only one in there the other is missing
Day seven of the Southern NSW Lounge About with BettyBoo3747.
Deadly treadlies out and riding around some of Eden (the rest is too steep!).
We started in the caravan park on the other side of the lake and rode the new bike trail clockwise around the lake.
Not another person to be seen on either the trail or the boardwalks.
After this cache we walked around the corner to Eden.
Fluked low tide so it was a lovely trip.
Thanks, Robmc.
PS: nice of your parents to move to Eden just to maintain your cache!

# 10091. Robmc and I are enjoying a fairly relaxing day in Eden. We enjoyed a lovely bike ride around the lake finding a couple of caches and then taking the easier option in this hilly town we used the geo-chariot to add three more smilies.
This was a lovely start to the day riding the boardwalks and tracks almost to GZ. The lake looks a little low on the caravan side though and the tide was out around here. A great place to put a cache. We found it easily and I was sad that the listed geocoin was retrieved just yesterday by the last finder. I may have left one of my new pathtags here but am not certain about this.
Thanks Raspberry Vinegar

Went for a walk off the end of the main beach after consulting google maps and determining that wet eet wouldn't be required. It was soon apparent that my research was wrong and that boots were off and I was wading thigh deep across the creek. Fun!
Came to GZ and after wondering how much climbing was required, soon had the cache in hand!
Thanks for the adventure Rasberry Vinegar!
Cheers

An amazing spot for the cache. After yesterday's attempts at high tide then realizing we didn't have a towel we came back today. Wading through the rapid current without falling over proved a challenge. But when we approached the gz the cache seemed obvious. A great location for this geocache. TFTC Brainiac03 ?
The geokids brought some little friends to introduce them to geocaching. Nice way find for littlies and the first timers
Attempted this cache on our morning walk during our visit to Eden. The water was fairly rushing into the passage which made wading it a little dangerous considering what we were carrying so as we had our trusty smart phone with us we downloaded the tide table for Eden and lo and behold we were at the exact peak of a very high tide so we gave it a miss but at 7pm that night it was a low tide so we did an evening walk and easily cross and collected the cache. TFTC Raspberry Vinegar.
I grew up in the Eden valley in the UK so thought it was worth a trip to the Aussie version. Lovely views and a lot warmer weather than the uk version!! Nice easy find. TFTC
Thanks for the hide. We got wise to the water levels and attacked it from the residential side of Eden cove. Locals might think we're a bit cray cray though!!
One leap across a small stream then hugged the rocks around the edge. No need to get wet in this beautiful little spot. Easy find. TFTC
Found on our 2015 Merimbula trip. We originally drove to the high road, without realising that this could only be accessed from the bottom level. After a short walk, we found ourselves close to the high tide - so we had to wade across. The water was very cold, however it was nice and refreshing. Then it was a very quick find at GZ. Such a lovely spot with a great adventure to get to it. TNLNSL. TFTC RV!
Last day in this area so had to find a few more and this guy was on the list.
Parked and wandered down the beach to find that I had to get wet or forget these two caches.
Easy decision off with the boots and onward and soon had the container in hand, log signed and I was on my way.
Thanks Raspberry vinegar for placing this cache.

Suscoe ventured out this afternoon after our caching friends had commenced the trip south.
This was find number 3 for the PM trip for us.
With some thundery clouds approaching a quick walk to GZ was required.

It was our last night in Eden, and we couldn't leave without collecting at least one cache/quiche with fuzzywhaler. With three tired kids in tow, we set off after dinner (the now famous fuzzywhaler meatloaf!) to ford the open ICOLL, and all made it across dry and happy. A little bit of commonsense eyeballing had the cache found in no time. We left a talking toy padlock that we'd discovered in a cache ages ago, and were happy to see it go. We spent plenty more time taking photos and sighing at the beautiful, still evening. A fantastic experience, and a favourite point from us. TFTC
Beautiful location. Unfortunately no pen in our bathing suits so couldn't sign. The prettiest location we've found so far in Australia & Canada
Night stroll to find this cache turned into a few hours catching prawns in the shallows.
Good hiding spot too, TFTC.

Came at this from the beach side but when I got within 200 meters I realised it would be better approached fro m the other side. I cam back after a day of cacheing I drove close on the other side and was down to 100m. As I stepped out of the car t make my way to the cache a big clap of thunder hit and it started to rain so I left it for another day.
We can't read; or just don't. That is clear as the cache description plainly suggested this was a beach access cache. OK, it didn't give a parking spot, but come on - we have 4 GPSr's on board & we attempted to access this spot from up there, in suburbia, walking along someone's fenceline until the thick scrub & dramatic drop turned us away. Then we saw sense & parked where we should, & the walking was easy, though we could see things could get a little dicky at high tide when the ICOLL "doors" open. Thanks for the exercise (double for us due to our own silliness), for the lovely up close look at the calm lake & for filling us in on what an ICOLL is.
On a short holiday from Paynesville to Bermagui with a couple of nights in Merimbula on the way home. Great weather and great caches
Thanks Raspberry Vinegar

Found it ! 23rd September 2014 5;01pm. Harveyspectre and the running girls. TFTC
Eden certainly is a beautiful place. This icoll was idyllic in the late afternoon. A few people out fishing, and others just taking a stroll. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Thanks also for teaching us what an icoll is!
In the afternoon, we walked a bit arround near our Campground and found this box. TftC!
Once found dry oath into this one cache found without much trouble can enter from Marlin st if you don't want to ford the lake entrance TFTC
Found after a great guide as to the way in from a local. Had originally tried from Aslings but it was high tide so after getting directions we went round to Eden Cove and found the track off Marlin St that got us within 80m of the cache then it was a nice easy walk and a quick find. Thanks for showing us a new part of Eden
On a trip down to Eden with Rockfinders and thought as the weather was not the best would go for a few geocaches with the geokids. Last cache of the day as the rain squall came through!!! TFTC
Last day of the trip after an awesome extra-long-weekend away from Canberra to the Coast with Doppelfrog that included mountain, country and beachside exploring. Having de-bunked from the Eden site it was time to clear these last two in the north before starting on the trek home. I will admit I had no idea what an ICOLL was or why the CO may have one. This one is quite picturesque although we possibly increased the terrain rating a little by approaching from directly above rather than around the head despite it being low tide. Oh well - these caching pants are probably past their best anyway.
Out on a long-weekend-long caching adventure with BatgirlandCo.
Well this was educational - found the cache and learnt all about icolls!

We tried hard to access this one - approaced from three directions! Had looked at Aslings Beach and decided to approach from the northern side. A bit of 4 wheel driving and we were within 60 metres of GZ but too much water to navigate - too hard. Approached from another location nearby. Parked the 4WD in a court and started towards GZ when a local pulled up and asked us where we were going and promptly told us there was no access to the water and that we were on private property! Took the hint and went back to Aslings Beach. Found a nearby cache however still did not get any closer than 60 metres to this one. Would have required some waders!!! I think from time to time the difficulty rating should change. No hope of a find at present. Thanks for the fun and exercise however this one will have to wait for another effort in drier part of the year.
Easy find after walking along beach and Icoll where there was a 1 metre dead eel. Thanks
This is our first attempt at geocaching without our very savvy geocaching children. We found it! Has encouraged us to try for our next find. Thanks.
A good easy find after the nice long walk from our caravan park but on the way back we decided to take the road to nowhere and got lost a little bit thanks to the nice people in this area for their help TFTC raspberry vinegar
Was it a good decoy? I thought it had been muggled but further investegation located the cache. TFTC NTNL
Found this with geo stepdad who had the honour of spotting this well hidden little treasure. TFTC JenneG & Budgy
Our GPS had us searching slightly to the left but after reading past logs were were in firmer footing. TFTC, great hide!
Replaced plastic bag for log book with a marginally better one.

A great walk and a wonderful cache hiding place. Did cover it a little more,as was too easy for a muggle find.
Found with great friends in Teamppss. A quick find as the weather started to turn. A great spot. TFTC
Found with Aussiepuschaks after a nice stroll down the full length of the beach. Great location TFTC
Low tide today so we accessed through the water. Thankfully didn't then have to climb the rock face.
Coast Jan 2013. I tried to get here once before, but completely missed the right track down from the new housing development. This time with a bit of a better look I had the track and then it was just a short sandy walk to the cache. Heaps of people fishing off the sand bar, but they paid me no attention and I managed the cache quickly. Thanks.

Found on the way home from Melbourne. Great location. Took nothing and left a white marble. TFTC.
Lunch was at Eden on our drive north. Found a nice sandwich shop which was a nice alternative to the endless selection of fastfood available all the way up the coast. Then to this spot for a bit of exercise. Particularly for the geodog but also for the childre before getting into the car for the last leg of our drive to Quaama. We got the car as close as possible which involved going part wy down a dirt track but we parked before the track got too steep as we had visions of getting stuck at the bottom in our 2 wheel drive. So we scampered down the hill and followed the track to GZ. The geodog insisted that the water was clean enough for swimming despite the presence of much algae. She came back filthy! Anyway a lovely little spot this icoll - container retrieved, log signed - TFTC
TFTC nice stroll on a cool day after Xmas lunch , was going to drop TB but not enough room
Found it quickly after a nice walk over the beach with almost high tide.
Lovely spot!
Out: TB (which we will place somewhere during our 2-months holiday in Australia)

We parked in a spot with a great view and then trekked through the sand and over the rocks. No problems with the tide, it's been a while and the lake could use a flush. Some people using the same access to the sea and even kayakers paddling, but an unobserved find was made. TNLN
After our DNF at another cache in this area, we tried for this one on our walk back along the beach to the geoHilux. SL at 2.30pm Took: surfen TB Left: tumbled gemstone & replaced log book plastic bag. Glad the tide was out for our walk. TFTC raspberryvinegar #1340. Visiting from NE Victoria.
Found it safe, but last finders that signed it seem to be muggles. All seems OK.
Took the pirate flag TB to move on, left the 3 art bug TB

YAY... *FTF* arrived close to location and there was a muggle walking his dogs that nearly jumped in to my geo mobile , had to close the door in a hurry. Currently low tide, what a pretty spot, bell birds in whistleing away . Cache located with an empty book. : ). TFTC TNSL
