We are intending on replacing this cache. Given its location next to a playground, its disappearance was most probably due to being muggled by local kids. As such, we want to wait a few months for the kids to forget about its location.
I was walking the dog past this cache today & thought I'd quickly check it. I was very disappointed to find the hiding spot completely empty. I hope to replace it sometime in the future but will have to leave for quite a while for who ever muggled it to forget about it.
Checked the cache this evening & replaced the dead pen with a pencil. Otherwise all was in order.
Our first one just a walk from home. My 2yr was so excited to find it...
Forgot a pen though and geocache pen wasn't working so couldn't sign log book oh well have to do it again

Great place to put a cache, came there with team bleden, we didn't even want to leave the playground
I spent two days 'down south' with TeamBleden + JMCH, Featherlump, and YeahNo! to try and boost our totals for the Scouts Geocaching Competition.
We started off in Moana on Tuesday morning, grabbing 'Holiday Fun!', 'Pathway to the beach', and 'Under The Miss Miss Tree'. 'Under the Miss Miss Tree' was in a lovely park, and everyone liked the playground! We tried to get 'Shoot Some Hoops', but unfortunately, some Muggles were doing just that - playing basketball. So we had to give it a miss.
We then moved on to the '40 Winks' power trail, and I even managed to grab a trackable from #06.
The 'stretch' of caches from #9 - #13 was almost nothing but mud, and everyone slipped and slid around a lot. We came across a group of muggles playing in the mud near #13, so had to come back to it later.
Finishing off the first day with #14-#17, we managed to also grab Pilot's Fancy at the same time. There were plenty of planes flying around, and we even got to see several take-offs and landings!
In the end, we grabbed 21 caches on Tuesday, with 1 DNF. Not bad for four and a half hours!
We set off again on Wednesday morning, grabbing #18 to #26 in quick succession, and also managed to get 'Beer & Fruit', a quick find, and a brief detour down to 'The Old Gumtree", which is quite a clever hide in a nice spot - JMCH even managed to grab a trackable! Sadly, we had no luck on #34, but we moved on, and reached #41 in the end.
Later on, we made a quick stop at Port Willunga for a few caches, grabbing 'Shipwreck', and 'Pirates Treasure'.
Sorry about the generic logs, however I think I have given a good description of what I got up to! Thanks all of the CO's involved, and thanks to everyone who came along.

Found with members of Team Bleden - a quick easy find. The teenage venturers claimed it was the 'best playground ever' - a big call!! TFTC
Found it good clue!

Lovely park, saw the gz straight away, so got it seconds after. Didnt go at sunset, but have seen the beautiful sight of it as im staying round at my dads on holiday. No muggles around either, so easy enough
Found on the way home after visiting Woolies at Seaford. An overcast day and a placid sea in the distance - nice! Took TB. TFTC Bone Crunching Inc.
Had to come down south for work today so used my spare time to pick up some of the local caches[^]
Left a geocoin here for a visit also.

We forget those little pronounciation anomolies our kids did when they were young (kind of good to document them as they grow) [^].
Arrived after sunrise, but before most people were out of bed [8)].
The cache was exposed, so an easy find for us today. Took smilie badge. Left pirate patch. SL.
Hid the cache a little better.
Thanks Bone Crunching Inc.
PS. Great photo .
