A quick find on the way to the shack. Cache container broken needs attention. TFTC
Found with Justjessie on day 8 of our Tasmanian caching tour, quick find before staying the night in Evandale.
Cache is residing in a doggy poo bag...makes your skin crawl a little to pick one of those bags up when it clearly isn't empty. But it was a quick moment to decide that the contents weren't organic. It's a great little cache container and still in the position that fits the hint. I guess it's been put in the bag to help keep out moisture, since it doesn't close properly. Thanks DaFiChNi Team.
A nice mini series these caches are, SL, TNLN, thanks DaFiChNi Team for another fine cache hide
This was our 12th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 12:54
So this now makes our total find count 6045.

Today Ian wore a polo shirt with a logo that says, "Grey Nomads - Exploring Oz." It must have been an omen or something because we bumped into our Geocaching friends "Grey Nomads" all day. How weird.
Stopped here for a quick lunch before moving on to complete our journey.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley badge.
Thanks DaFiChNi Team for the hunt today.

Our trip around Tassie saw us in and around the beautiful area of Evandale, Longford and Perth. On a nice day we started early after staying at the free camp area in Evandale.
A nice easy find in a nice area. A quick scratch around had the cache in hand.

On my way to the airport and decided I had time for one last Tassie cache. This one was right across the street from where I pulled off to check the GPSr. Nice container; makes me wonder just how many household objects can be turned into caches. SL and put a band-aid on my vegetation wounds--an occupational hazard for cachers for sure. TFTC!

Second find in this series. Nice recycling on the cache container!

Did this one first and then found we had split the difference on which way to go next! TFTC
On the way back to Launceston from Campbell Town and collecting a few caches on the way. I hate to admit it, but this meander was done in my car. Not really in the spirit ... liked the cache! Left a geonickel, took nothing, SL, TFTC!
Took a bit of searching for this one - nice container.
Took Zippy Kiwi TB.

This reminds me of another cache in Royal Park. A straightforward find with Choppersrule guiding me through the long grass. TFTC
windy day for caching but that didnot stop me making an easy find great place for a cache T.N.S.L
A few people around but they weren't paying any attention to us. This one was a bit of fun, TFTC
Found this one first in the series. Parked at a place where we had recently camped the night. Technically the sign says no camping by caravans and tents so we figured we were safe in a self ccontained campervan. Mind you we were half ready to be moved on all night but fortunately that didn't happen. Thanks.
This one was very easy until a pine needle jabbed me in the eye lol. Thanks for the cache
This seems quite a popular area for the locals to come and exercise their dogs. Luckily they were well away from GZ. A short search, saw the light and this well hidden cache, with an excellent container, was in hand. the cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC DaFiChNi Team
Love an area with multiple caches hidden. Used to muck around here as a kid and try my luck at fishing. Have better luck finding caches. My geokids loved the area though. TFTC
Sadly, the last day of our escape from the NT trip, seeking some relief from the tropical build up
Mr TiedyeSmileys saw a large opening into the branches and pounced, forcing Mrs TiedyeSmileys to look elsewhere. Unfortunately for Mr TiedyeSmileys, elsewhere was where the cache was and Mrs TiedyeSmileys soon grabbed it.

A funny hide with a good hint. Now there's an imaginative mind at work for the container. TFTC
Skipped this one on the way into town because there were muggles at the gazebo. On the way out of town they were still there so just had to be sneaky. In the end it was easy as there's plenty of cover. TFTC

Hi DaFinChNi team. Let me start by thanking you for all the new caches you have placed, they are great. Anyway I was in Launceston today as my wife and geo kid had a craft "event", so I had 4 hours to go for gold while she was "crafting". We attacked evandale, Nile, deddington and blessington and then were going into Launceston for a few before I got the call to go and collect the wife. The day yielded 25 cache finds and included two ftfs, a rarity for us.
A great cache container. Very well done

Hi DaFiChNi
After a long day sitting around the house at Huonville yesterday waiting for the cache mobile to be re-shod and a poor nights sleep; I felt the need for caches today.
Left home at about 0730hrs and didn't really know where I was headed. Eventually drove from Huonville, as far north as Launceston Airport and as far East as Avoca.
This cache was my twelth find for the day. After finding "Number 3", being lazy, I drove as close as I could to this cache. Walked through the long grass to ground zero. saw the cache and thought that it did not have a lid. However, when the cache was extracted I could see why I thought that. This one is reminisent of a cache I put out recently down South. The cache was extracted, the log signed and the container returned to its hide at 1335hrs.
One has to comment on the standard of the parks in Evandale and how well they are maintained, a credit to the community. However, this park is not up to the normal standard as far as upkeep is concerned. It's a shame, as it is a lovely area to be in.
From here it was on to find "Evandale Meander #1."
Arrived back at Huonville at 2015hrs having found eigthteen caches and hiding two moveables.
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.

Tricky little find but then saw the light after sneaking a peak at the hint. TFTC

Woo Hoo *FTF* @ 19:25hrs. With cache alerts chiming left right and centre we were spoilt for choice - decided to head to Evandale and try our luck. On the way we reminisced about how we used to swim in the river nearby many moons ago. Made a quick find once at GZ and we were suitably illuminated. TFTC
