Again no luck here as I try and clear the closest 100 to home. In the area today and gave this ago despite no finds for 6 months. TFTH. Worth a check from the CO and a possible replacement or archived.

01-Oct-14
Headed to Winthrop this afternoon to try and pick up a few caches in the limited time that I had, I think I ended up with a 50/50 strike rate.

Running out of time I thought I would have a quick crack at this one, searched around for about five minutes for no joy.

10-May-14
my first cache found! description was a little deceiving. my mum ended up unexpectedly finding it. nothing to write in logbook with so bring a utensil.

31-Jan-14
Just back from caching down in Denmark, some amazing caches down that way. But I still needed one for my caching calendar today. As it was a busy day I chose an easy one. This cache didn't disappoint. Thanks Lachlan for the hide.

31-Dec-13
last day for the years and this was a park and grab cache....TFTC

28-Dec-13
Headed to Kardinya, to complete some caches in the area.
We visited lots of bushland & nice parks, with a good variety of hides.
Thanks for the cache, Lachlan1.77.

25-Dec-13
Dnf. Will try again later.

05-Oct-13
Park and grab here ... traffic on Leach Hwy was light, so I pulled up on the verge ... checked one possible hiding spot ... not there. Then read the description ... only one place it can be ... sure enough, there it was. SL. TFTH Lachlan1.77

05-Oct-13
Had a few council workers looking on, but managed to find without any problems. Thanks.

Back online!!!!... unlike some of my caches! Council has finished the piping works so it is safe to replace it!

New positioning around 30 metres away from the original location. Should be a much easier find now and much more suited to the difficulty! I have also adjusted the terrain a notch higher.

Enjoy! Big Grin

04-Aug-13
It seems on Saturday while the park is being worked on the cache area got removed! Once works are finished I will find a new location in the park and enable!

04-Aug-13
After my fruitless searches in Robert Crawford Park, I felt that I had to find at least one cache while in the area, so headed over here. However, there have been some earth-works in the area and reading that the cache is fully wheel-chair accessible, it looks to me as if anything that fits that description has been bulldozed. i will send you some pics Lachy. TFTH.

Will change this note to a DNF if the cache is confirmed to be there ... and will return if it is there.

25-Apr-13
Was in the most obvious place so easy find again.

16-Apr-13
As Gz was in real thick leaf litter and no signs of searching there spent some time looking elsewhere eg 8m away to no avail.

16-Apr-13
Out and about with AmstradKid and Jazl the wonder dog in the Winthrop area to do a little caching run. Well this felt like an Anaconda cache, lotsa leaf litter here, hmmmm..... certainly not a D1 now. We searched for awhile without luck, SL TFTC L1.77

07-Apr-13
After caching my family and caching friends, we all went our separate ways but mum took us to some more caches on the way home. Mum found this one... TFTC Lachlan1.77 Big Grin

07-Apr-13
Found my way around the backstreets to be able to park close to GZ... The kids were getting very sleepy so I didn't want to disturb them [|)] I was happy for an easy find here as it was in the first spot I looked! Maybe my luck is changing Razz TFTC Lachlan1.77, Cache is in good condition and dry Big Grin

15-Mar-13
Hooray, finally a day to get out and about caching. Organised to meet up with The Machman and head south today. Took a little while to find a place on the map where we both had lots of caches we needed to find.

Headed out with a list of 36 caches to tackle.

Last time I was here the cache appeared to be missing.

Quickly dug it out today and the last on the 'LIST' for today too.

TFTC

15-Mar-13
Out on a days Caching with Mrs Felix on an all to rare visit SOR.

My unfound caches are getting a little out of hand in the area, i could spend a week caching down here
and not make a dent in my "to do" list.

Very Busy GZ, cars whizzing by, but picked up the cache with no issue.

Many thanks.

17-Feb-13
On arrival at GZ I looked at the search area and wondered where the cache was going to be. I had a bit of a look through the branches and low tree and tried to narrow down my search area. I checked the hint and the previous logs, and although I didn't learn anything from them, I managed to find the cache after a fairly short search.

Thanks for the cache Lachlan1.77!

28-Jan-13
TFTC found on a caching run with geowife.

12-Jan-13
Quick find here but not without a stop to wonder where it might be. TFTC!

12-Jan-13
Found on an extremely long caching day with my brother. We met up at 6am and headed to the Applecross area to start tackling a few caches there, and ended up finishing around 8pm in Leeming.

Quick find by Dunc. TFTH

01-Jan-13
Last one for tonight. If the current location is where the previous cache was then it must have been muggled when the better half and I looked before as this was one of the spots looked at.

Thanks Lachlan1.77 for the cache.

24-Dec-12
After meeting up with iluvtrekking at Dome for breakfast, we then set off to do a few caches in the area. Found it oabout 4 mts from where our gps led us initially.

24-Dec-12
Found with richlink. Our GPS were pointing to a point 4-6mtrs away but we found the cache after widening our search. TFTH

18-Dec-12
Second of this series for the afternoon. Trickier than it should be. I found it heavily covered. SL TFTC

11-Dec-12
Return back and short search until spotted the container at 13.55pm. Signed the log. Thanks Lachlan 1.77

06-Dec-12
Had a look under a few bushes and leaf litter but came up empty

25-Nov-12
Eventually found using the hint some 12m from the GZ on both our GPSrs
TFTC

24-Nov-12
Finally spotted this cache hiding under deep leaf cover. It is obvious that others have also undertaking extensive searches. Coordinates finally settled down very close to hiding location. TFTC

22-Nov-12
Last cache for the day... With FelixII, we search and no luck... so DNF for us... Thanks...

22-Nov-12
Mrs Felix out on an extended caching day with Everlasting The starting list was 48 caches by the time they left home although due to the heat and some built up frustration with continuing DNF's the list was culled down to 38.

Last of our list and the 2nd DNF in a row.

Few to come back to in this series next time we are back this way.

16-Nov-12
Decided to spend the day doing the winthrop and kardinya caches. This one was the first on my list and and quick find very close to a very busy road. TFTC

05-Nov-12
I didn't find this cache. I have had the same GZ both times I have been here and it looks to be a needle in the haystack search with only random chance dertermining whether you find it or not.

05-Nov-12
Cache has been muggled... will replace this afternoon with a sistema.

05-Nov-12
I have replaced the muggled cache with a new 200ml clear sistema container that has blue clips. I ask everyone that you are careful to watch for muggles and not retrieve when they are around. There are also breaks in the traffic even on really busy days so use them. Thank you everyone! Happy Geocaching! Big Grin

30-Oct-12
Took a bit of time finding this one. Was looking for a clear ziplock bag. Finally found cache which was fairly exposed and not in a bag - the log however was in a bag. Concealed the container when I replaced it. Suggest removing the sweets in the cache as they may attract ants or other animals. SL TN Left our cache calling card. Thanks for the Winthrop Wonders series. I enjoyed the hunt Smile

30-Oct-12
The cache is now no longer in a zip-lock bag as someone along the way has put the bag around the contents inside the bag instead of around the cache... description is now changed and I will keep the cache the way it is now... hope it last some of the wet weather coming up. Thanks Smile

28-Oct-12
I can see why I missed it yesterday! My GPS was leading me to a completely different location. Nonetheless, return today for a very quick find. Thanks for filling this area with some more caches! No pen, took pic.

27-Oct-12
Tricked by a difficulty one! The cache was nowhere to be found, and the fact that it was wheelchair accessible narrowed down the locations to a couple of spots, none of which it was located in.

27-Oct-12
Went and checked on it... It has been moved just slightly and now can't be accessed by wheelchair but the coordinates are still the same.

24-Oct-12
After visiting a local dentist I needed a little R and R. So I decided to have a look at the nearby Winthrop Wonders.

The container had water in it so I dried it out and put it back the other way up. If the white dots are not put on the ground water can enter the container via the lid.

Thanks Lachlan1.77.

21-Oct-12
Nice effort Lachlan1.77. Great to see a new hider appear. Enjoyed a little ride around Winthrop.

21-Oct-12
Rode from home with K.B. A nice quick find of a good sized container. Thanks for the cache.

20-Oct-12
*FTF* I was so surprised to be FTF that I forgot to pick up the certificate. Thankyou Lachlan 1.77 for the cache
