Unfortunately we couldn't find it. Doubt that it is there after nearly 4 years of archival.

Some time on my hands following little athletics at Windsor Park. Dropped by for this one on the way home. Park very busy today with setting up for tonight's performance of the Tasmanion Symphony Orchestra - Symphony under the stars. Have had a search for this cache in he past but today success with the updated coordinates of geo_jas. A nice little hide.. thanks..!!

There's something about hunting for a lost/archived cache. It's like looking for lost hidden treasure, and adds to the challenge of geocaching.
With the help of previous cachers who have found this one recently, I was able to locate this one safe and sound in its hide. Log is very long and very full, but i was able to find an empty spot to squeeze my signature on. It a shame this one has been archived.

Using the newest set of coordinates from the previous log, we were then able to locate the cache easily. Nice and dry, still sitting there. TFTC.

I was looking for a place to leave a moveable cache and I knew I'd found a good place when I found a cache already in position. I was a bit surprised as it wasn't on my GPS or phone but after I did a bit of a search, I'm positive this was the cache.
It didn't seem to be in the correct location as the coords were off and the hint wasn't right but the names in the log book matched the website. It was in a tree at about chest height at the coords listed below.
Thanks DaFiChNi Team for the cache, albeit after being archived for 18 months.

An easy find during my very last afternoon in Tasmania before returning to Germany. The weather was as sunny as (nearly) always during my vacation on the island, and the park a peaceful place to reflect the great time I had.

Just got back home to log finds made in Tassie. The TB i picked up from here was not the welsh love spoon that was listed in the cache but instead was another geocoin which had not been listed. The love spoon was not in the cache when I visited...

Flew in today and was conveniently having dinner across the road from this one! Whilst I waited for my meal to come out I quickly ducked over to the park and under the cover of darkness made a quick and easy find. I picked up the TB to take to NSW.

Beautiful morning here in Launceston. Not too many muggles about. Could not visit without finding a cache. Just along from the hotel. Will find some more in the future.

Cache in good order however will require a new log soon.

A nice holiday visit for the trackables.

What a park! This is an amazing park that I wish we could relocate to Canberra. The Geo-junkies clan just sailed in to Tasmania and was heading out after breakfast for a walk. We stumbled across this park and meet the local monkeys, looked in the conservatory, played in the kids park (complete with visiting the kids mushroom toilet) and then grabbed this cache.

In town for work again and up early so dashed out to grab some finds before breakfast.

At this time of the morning not many people about just the odd jogger and even in the pitch black this was an easy find, soon signed and replaced as found.

Good sized cache for a public park like this.

Thanks for the cache

Found with the help of good co-ordinates. Lots of people dressed up for the zombie walk - made it interesting to be in the park!! Other visitors were distracted by the zombies and didn't notice me poking around the shrubbery. TFTC!!!

Found quickly in a park we've visited many times before. Haven't often been to this side though, usually concentrate on the playground and the monkeys with the grandkids. TFTC

22-Apr-13
Replacing some of my missing munzees around here, and popped up to this corner to grab a new cache since I was last here. No-one around in the dark so it was a relatively easy find. Such a great park, and with monkeys too! Thanks for the cache.

Found by Facitman with Rhinogeo at 10:28
First cache of our Sunday in Launceston, and surrounds, and the start of trip north. The park was quiet, in people terms, but a group of drummers were practising in the gazebo so our search made to the sound of an African beat. Rhinogeo made the find after a short search and completed our log before we moving on.
Thanks DaFiChNi Team
