It would seem this one has taken a hike. I'll open the spot up for someone else to take over if they choose.
Mrs frilk and I are on our annual kidless long weekend. We arrived last night and after a great night's rest we set off for a day of walking interspersed with some caching (that was her view...mine was caching interspersed with walking!).
Although there were a couple of previous DNFs we thought that we would check this cache out however, unfortunately, it does look like it has been muggled.

Not so lucky today. Think I found the right spot, but couldn't expand the search due to muggles in the area
While in Launceston we thought we would grab a few around the town and this was one we found. A cold, drizzly and then pouring rain made for few muggles to disturb us on our caching hunt today. A good hide. TFTC
Spent like 5-10 minutes stumbling through the bushes in the darkness trying to find it, I started a few meters off from where I should've. Left one of my trademark rolled cigarettes for any fellow smoker cachers who find it. Great hide, TFTC
Thanks for the cache DaFiChNi Team. Found with RLD4963 on a visit to Launceston. After having some lunch, decided to take a wander around the CBD to see if we could find some nearby caches as the weather was a bit grey and a bit drizzly. I've always wanted to have a go at croquet....perhaps we'll get a chance to have a hit another day. The cache was found nice and easily whilst trying to look inconspicuous due to some nearby muggles. Cheers.
which rock will do, pick one, it's all right until three youths start laughing and mucking about ten meters behind you and then it all funny, I didn't do anything you can't prove, it wasnt me, it was him down there miles away. TFTC TNLN a cool day with rain. good fun with a good friend.
#2955 Found well after 10pm with the boys from the M. In Tasmania for a few days visiting from Canberra. A quick find. TFBUH.
Came back for an easy find in daylight.
Needs a new logbook.
Book and excess paper are full.

Unable to find this in the dark.
Should have been easy.
Gave up after large mosquito attack!

Ladies were playing croquet so didn’t want to arouse suspicion by searching in the bushes! But sat on a rock and had a bit of a poke around. Didn’t find the cache tho?
I would be up for a game of croquet but there was no one about so had to make do with finding a cache. TFTC
Apologies for the late posting, I prefer to use my PC at home. After an enormous dinner we definitely needed a walk so off we went in search of a couple of caches before dark. Happy to say we located this one in a timely manner.
A nice walk before dinner & a quick cache on the way
What a nice little random area TFTC

I rolled up to GZ on the pushbike
Should I have brought a mallet ?? [:o]
I peered around GZ for a while,
ever wary of the agapanthus !! [:o]
"Beware the agapanthus !!"
I jumped through a few hoops,
but eventually found this cache
Them *sequoias* sure mess up the GPS signal

Flew over to Launceston for a days caching to escape the Melbourne heat.
I think it is nearly as hot over here.
Nice and quiet on the roads so traveling around the city was nice and easy today.
This was the second one for the day and a nice easy find as the park and Croquet club were very quiet.
Thanks for putting out caches so I had another reason to come over for the day.
Thanks DaFiChNi Team TFTC

Great hide took a while but it was fun. Could use a repaint but was good. Sadly no trackables. TFTC
It's certainly not every day you find a croquet club, but remarkably we have one not far from home. A unique sport to be sure. It was an easy find but there was some particularity smelly poo in the area, future finders beware. Log book is chocka block so I found a blank spot to sign but will need replacing ASAP. Thanks DaFiChNi Team.
Found to this one whilst over in Tassie doing a whirlwind seven day tour around this amazing island state. Home again now, tired but happy, and committed to returning another time to explore some more. Didn't find that many caches during the time I was there, but this was one that I did manage to sneak off from my muggle companions and find. Found a couple of Tas Rocks before delving a bit further in and finding the cache. Left a trackable here to continue its journey tool Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to find DaFiChNi Team
Found on a lovely day. Thankfully there was a break in muggles traffic long enough to scramble around to find cache. TFTC
Very first geocache found in Tasmania, after driving to a city park straight from the airport for some chill time on a lazy and warm summer day. Nice place for strolling beside the river, and lots of people out walking today. Relatively straight forward find. Thanks DaFiChNi Team.
Another find on our afternoon walk along the Tamar river.
All quiet at the club today, we did not have a chance to try the game
Thanks for the cache hidden here

We were out for a walk after Christmas lunch and followed the paths through parks until we reached this croquet lawn. A good search did not reveal the cache, then after a better look I found the container which had been over enthusiastically camoed. Very quiet here today, I wonder why. Thanks to DaFiChNi Team for a good hide for us to find on Christmas day.
TFTC from the Kayakviking!
Nice find on walk back from gorge. Cheers from Sydney

We found the cache easy in this beautiful park, though we had to wait for a group of students who were making a group photo.
After that we could log our find unseen. we retrieved a goodie and a sticker, we also placed a woodie and a goodie.
Thanks for hiding the cache here and showing this beautiful location.

Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you DaFiChNi Teamfor adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

Whilst on an enjoyable early morning walk we found this cache.
What a most unexpected little get away.....I needed some R&R and the lovely micaparamedic needed to cache in Tassie to meet a challenge cache's requirements, soooo a plan was quickly hatched and we were on our way.
Gary was good enough to do all of the driving (a real treat for me) so I just relaxed as we explored various beautiful locations that Tassie has to offer.....and we even picked up a cache or two. [^]
The weather was fantastic, the food was delicious, and I was delighted to catch up with some very special people that I love.
Thanks so much for the cache DaFiChNi Team!

A number of rocks to check but otherwise a straight forward find and cache all fine. TFTC
Third find of the afternoon. Not too many muggles about, so nice quick retrieval. Took a sticker, left a car and was going to leave a trackable, til I saw there were a couple supposedly in there already- they weren't . TFTC
Catching up with some late logs.
Day four and our last full day of our Apple Isle visit with maccamob picking up a few caches while heading from Devonport back to Launceston.
We were heading towards the "Flooding and Sedimentation" earth cache and made the short detour to look for this one first. These gardens are beautiful and we got to see them up close and personal as we looked for the cache which eluded us for a little while before we were able to locate it and add our names to the log. We would have enjoyed a game of croquet had we had the equipment but it wasn't to be.
Thanks DaFiChNi Team for the cache.
