The Cache was ripped away in the prime of life when some maintenance was carried out on the wheel. Still a nice spot to visit. Ill fix it at some point
Two of us checked the obvious place that fitted the coordinates, cache name and the hint. No luck today.
What a beautiful setting!!!!!!! We so loved this walk, would have been great on a bike. Found about two months ago on 01/01/17. Thanks for bringing us here!!
We had intended going fishing today but the wind had other ideas so we headed out of town to do some caching. Kinloch seemed like a good place to start especially since neither of us have ever been here.
Mr S found this. He jumped the stream to get there but came back by the bridge deeming that to be marginally safer. Lol.
Interesting spot and Mrs S spotted a beautiful heron on the banks of the stream but got mozzied again .
Thanks casa del hince for bringing us here and we relieved the cache of your path tag again. We have had an enquiry about a trade for one of your tags.

A fun cache to find to show a friend how this works It took a bit of searching but quite satisfying in the end. TFTC
This certainly is a lovely area and we had a great time exploring this area this afternoon. There was no one around and it was just us and the sound of the birds and the trees. We took a few minutes looking before we figured out where we needed to be. TFTC and for showing us this area!
nice area for a walk with miss 6 thanks for bringing me here aroha and happy caching
A gorgeous day in Kinlock for a walk along the track. Loved the walk, saw a couple of trout heading up stream. Nice hide but log ever so wet. Cheers.
Hmm just realised I found this about two years ago but never logged it. I love this track and the geocaches make it all the more interesting
Looks like my Cache has suffered at the hands of the weather gods. Its still there but rather wet. I wont be around for a month or two. So feel free to keep loging or if you can please tidy it up for me.
Great spot, lovely walk. All contents of tin was very wet, the kids were a little disappointed with this find .
Down here for an adventure weekend with KiwiLeon, alpenmilch80 and 11hpg11 and found ourselves close by to this one. Wandered down to check it out after a relaxing stay in a nearby bach the night before. With four of us looking all over it was only a matter of time before we had it in hand. Cool spot to come to and last stop for Team Waihaha before we halved and started going our seperate ways - TFTC
Out with Alpenmilch80, Evilno9 and 11hpg11 for a weekend in the Pureora's.
After spending the night in the in a local bach we went out to find all the caches in town before heading back home.
Had to wait for a few muggles to move on before finding the cache.

After spending Friday night in the Waihaha Hut with the KiwiLeon, Evilno9 and 11hpg11 we decided to have some glambing for Saturday night. For that, we stayed at a local bach and ventured out in the morning to clear out the town. Last one to go before leaving Kinloch. Enjoyed the wheel. TFTC
A long weekend mission planned with some hardy Auckland cachers. We are heading to Waihaha Hut to stay a night and enjoy the Pureoras. Our team consisted of Alpenmilch80, Evilno9, Kiwileon, and myself. We signed our logs as Team Waihaha to save room in smaller logs.
After staying a cold, yet fun night in the Waihaha Hut, we chose the glamping option of a nice bach for saturday night. A great night at the bach, followed by some sore heads this morning. We decided to clean up Kinloch while we were here and the nice walks were great for the head!
Interesting little spot! Thanks for bringing us here. A few muggles around this morning, good to see people out enjoying the gorgeous long weekend.

Awesome! We've spent many an hour up here with the kids in the past! And today's discovery was brilliant! Thank you
Never been here before, and the kids have fun turning the water wheel against the flow and other play in the area. TFTC
Nice ride up the reserve as we are staying in Kinloch. Got to gz and thought I had it figured but I'm not very good at hopping and my legs were to short to jump so just had to step and deal with the consequences! Soon had cache in hand. Thanks for bringing me here
What a surprise to come across the on our walk through the woods. Mr CD soon retrieved it. Tft
New container new log. And new plan for next time I visit. cheers from casa del hince TFTC
Quick check up. All good but cache is starting to show its age (a bit rusty). cheers from casa del hince TFTC
A quick find when we took time to think about the hint thanks for the hide in an interesting place to visit.
Staying at Kinloch with family for Christmas. Out exploring the area. Great little walk to the waterwheel. TFTC.
Found it! Great walk too! Not to far to walk from the centre of Kinloch, nice stretch of bush. Was a easy find after reading the hint! =)
Ievery time we have an eveny here i hope to also find a cache but seem to have a Kinloch cache curse lol another DNF ....
6.25pm - Easy walking track in the dark, Little search to find cache in .........SLTFTC
Dot Day... The things we do to fill a space on the calendar matrix. Met up with Gap (of Fap and Gap) after work hours. Motored over to Taupo to hunt out a few caches.
It was now verging on nightfall and we were surprised to encounter walkers in the gloom (including a woman on her own)... We arrived at the water wheel and found this to be an interesting feature. However, there were lots of possible hiding places; it took a few sweeps of the equipment in the dark before this one was discovered. TFTC.

This one beat us on this occasion, despite a good seach.
Possibly due to my old Etrex being a bit unstable under the trees.
Will try again some other time.

Enjoyed the walk to the water wheel. Nearly gave up as it was a tricky hide and began to wonder if the hint was relevant but found the cache and new log in new hiding place. TFTC

Found while on a morning stroll with a bunch of tramping mates. To be honest, we stopped looked, then carried on and I completely failed to realise there was a cache here. Had to double back to grab it. TFTC.
Thanks to previous cacher for putting this in a neat little film container. All nice and watertight, but not much room for the many log sheets. Wouldn't have known about this interesting neck of the woods without geocaching. TFTC.
A trout swam up while I was there! Had a film canister with me, so contents are in that now. My coordinates were S 38° 39.166 E 175° 55.516 which were 12 metres off the description. The clue makes sense. Wonder why I couldn't find it a year ago!
Easy find. Needs a new book only ziplock bag looking a bit tired. Lots of muggles beware!
Being on the track we came along that one as well. As stated before, there is no longer any cache case but the logbook in its ziplog bag.
This was an easy find. Logbook is no longer in a magnetic container, but safe and dry in the hiding spot. TFTC!
Water wheel has lost its container but still still found it . We will be out to create nore now kids are keen.
Sadly this lovely little cache appears to have been muggled. Please could owner repair. Tin is missing and only paper remains
A quick early morning find while in Taupo for a few days.
Thanks for the cache cas del hince

Enjoyed the walk along the stream. Quickly found the water wheel and the cache. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
Gps not settling and didn't read description properly so Mr B headed for the bridge, but Mrs B went back and looked around the wheel all good many thanks will come back on mt bike to get the other one further away
Great location, but lid seems to be missing, container rather battered. Log book dry. TFTC, SL
New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 9, Day trip around Lake Taupo. This was a great walk along the river. A few riders on bikes around, but when I had GZ to myself I was eventually able to look in the right spot and extract this cache. The tin is a but crushed. Thanks.

Cool (and noisy!) little spot. Nice and easy to get to and great hiding spot. Got muggled just after finding it and had to wait for the kids to stop paddling and move on before returning the cache
Great Aunt De Yrujo nearly sent 4 1/2 year niece flying to get this one first. 4 1/2 year is the expert . I think it is because she can bend her knees better than us oldies.lol.. Lovely walk for family .And child enjoyed walking the plank.
Good hiding place! TNLN - we forgot a pen to sign the log. Surprised there were no treasures any more.
Quick find by Mr 2NK, the missus doesn't stick her hand in dark places for fear of finding creepy crawlies . Nice walk and nice little spot for a cache. TFTC!
WE HAD A HUNT AROUND FOR A WHILE, THEN IN A SUDDEN FLASH OF INSPIRATION I THOUGHT IT MUST BE THERE, AND IT WAS !! . WE ENJOYED THE WALK AND EVEN SAW A TROUT RESTING, ON IT'S WAY UPSTREAM TO SPAWN, THAT HAS GOT TO EARN THE CACHE A POINT. TFTC
