Thanks TT for the cache.A quick day trip to Scout Island Corra Linn, and to visit Launceston family. This one was near enough, and I enjoyed the drive up, and the river views.A quick find once I looked in the right place, without the GPSr !Left a small TB.Heavy showers, I got a smidge damp.CheersEPs
Merging my accounts. Found this as Hoterini 17/5/13. Now tracking together with Ambers007 and merging the old finds.
TFTC. Cache and contents are in excellent condition. Freezing glad it was a quick find
Absolutely love this location and when i thought i'd have GZ to myself i was proven wrong as there were 2 fisherman down by the river's edge. They had their backs to me so retrieving the hide was a cinch [^]SL at 11:33 on 19/12/23.The cache and contents are in A1 condition. Took a couple of piccies on my way back to the GeoMobile parked across the bridge off the main road.TFTC Tassie Trekkers
Had a ball finding this little cache and breaking the ice in the puddles nearby! Thanks for the cache xx
This cache was a number of caches found today, on our trip from Launceston to St Helens via the back roads to Mathinna, Mt Albert Road and Argonaut Road.
The aim was to do maintenance on Little Blue Dune Buggy but due to many vehicles blocking access to the beach (one with a blown clutch and another with a trailer!!), I decided to head for home and come back at a later date. Caching has helped keep my mind busy as we mourn our friend. Sorry for the generic log.

We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to Tassie Trekkers for the generation of this nice cache Bridging The North Esk (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Checked on cache today, it was missing have replaced it. Black eclipse tin.
Thanks for the cache is totally weathered and cap is missing unable to sign the log maintenance may be needed ! Also coordinates are way off
Returning to Hobart from Scottsdale, decided to do some exploring and take a new route. Had time to stop for one cache on the way and this was the perfect location. A beautiful and peaceful spot. There was no range so wasn't sure what I was looking for - my first assumption proved inaccurate but a second look and there it was! Thank you
A quick find whilst driving past this afternoon. We were on our way to Evercreech Forest Reserve after trying our luck at Ben Lomond to camp for the night but it was full! Thankfully, there was loads of room at Evercreech and no doubt much warmer! TFTC!

We're currently spending a week or so in Launceston for a little bit of an end-of-year getaway - well, more a start of year holiday now! Happy new year!
Today's main event was a visit to Tasmania Zoo, always a fun outing with the family while in that area! As is usually the case when out and about in Launceston, SonOfSteel tagged along for the ride - and for a couple of caches!
After arriving back in town with a few spare hours up our sleeve, we figured we might go for a bit of a drive out towards Blessington and pick up a couple of caches along the way.
This one was definitely in a nice spot for a cache! Quite a pretty little spot by the river! The cache itself was readily found right where it was expected to be, in good condition.
Thanks for giving us another reason to get out and explore this pretty area!

Just realised that if we can find just a few more caches before the new year that 2019 will be our best caching year so far so out and about to find some more before the deadline. This was an easy find with the aid of accurate coordinates and the hint. TFTC
Found this while out for a drive, really enjoyed the he view of the river. Thanks for the cache
I parked opposite Gz and enjoyed the sunshine and the serenity next to the river which was moving well after the recent rain. TNLN TFTC!
A quick find although I was on the wrong side of the bridge and had to cross it, but a lovely place, thanks for making me stop and TFTC.
On the way to Ben Lomond. Stopped for this one with the kids. Nice view across to the mountain and they had fun dropping sticks in and watching them go under the bridge. Thanks.
Found the decoy that some one has signed then re-evaluated and got the right one. All ok TFTC
Found this with Goose and the toolman I had never been out this way before i'm not sure why.
With the toolman finding a bit of gunk to play with it was goose that found the cache and we soon added our name to the log book
thanks for the cache.

Found a cool contraption here that if I could take it home it could have been used as part of a gadget cache but alas it won’t fit in my bags for the flight home.
Quick find and nice clean container and logbook,

A great day out with gridge98 to the fingal valley to collect some caches. Most were fairly easy finds in some great locations. TFTC
A quick drive past we thought we would make the quick stop. TFTC
After attending my own event this morning up mount Arthur, I was keen to go and collect some unfounded caches, a call to JL rockstar and a plan was made to head to the Fingal valley. A trip around to some mines and not so popular places discovered a lot of untouched history. A few finds for the day with a touch of DNFs along the way.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
Stopped and made a quick fine here. I imagine it could be very cold in winter but today it was very pleasant as we travelled down some of these rural tracks.
Thanks Tassie Trekkers for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Today we decided to visit family in Launceston and turned off the Midland Highway just past Conara to gather a few caches in the Deddington/Blessington/White Hills area and this was one we found. A great view and a very pleasant rural drive. It was mid morning and the frost and ice hadn't melted. Small ponds of water were still frozen solid! All good at GZ. TFTC
Easy find on a cold and frosty morning! Good views of a snow capped Ben Lomond! TFTC
One final stop before reaching Ben Lomond National Park and a nice and easy park and grab !

Another fabulous day in beautiful Tasmania - lots of driving through forests; walking up and down dales and of course caching.
This was #1 of 8 finds. A quick find after pulling up to let a tailgater disappear. Pity fishing wasn't on the agenda today - a great looking stream.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to enjoy Tassie Trekkers. Signed log as SG as I often do in small caches to save space.

Hi there Tassie Trekkers.
We found your cache **"Bridging The North Esk"** at 10:08:00 AM today. (This brings our total find count to 18522).
The original plan today was to log a random cache some distance from our camp site, and then find a few more caches using the "next closest" method. We then logged "Ben & Back" & thought why not - we will do that instead - - and we had a great day!
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 15 caches (& DNF'd 0).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

it was just starting to get a little dark as we got here but still enough light to see without having to drag the torch out. We zipped over the river and made a quick stop. Loved looking over at the rock face back across the river. A quick find and now we are heading back toward the airport to pick up 1TOOLMAN for out NE adventure. Thanks for another great location.
Quick find...cache all well. Looks like a good fishing river with quite a big flow atm. Great day to be out this way and would take me over forestry roads I've never seen before.
Many thanks for placing the cache for us all to enjoy Tassie Trekkers...cheets ST.

I was just cruising in the area for work, I stopped for a quick find. While I had the cache in hand I was spotted by Farmer Joe, who stopped and asked if I was alright. It took a moment to explain what I was up to, he seemed happy with my response.
This cache was hunted, tagged and released by activehunters Tftc.

I found this neat little cache whilst on a ride out to Ben Lomond with Crustyvarmint who seems to have forgotten my name
Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
We missed visiting Ben Lomond when in this area last year so it was on the list before we board the ferry back to the North Island.
Beautiful weather for enjoying the drive in the countryside today.
