Continuing the trail whilst still elated by the covid safe summer news..
It was a little reach with lots of scrub growth but in a spot on ground zero.
Thanks for the cache

While out enjoying a day of fun we passed through this area and decided to see if we could add some smiles, the road was busy but we did manage breaks in the traffic to stop and search, TFTC and the fun
Found by Team Ladava in the run up to our 2,000th. find. (It’s only been 13 years.)
A few hours in Eynesbury was the selected location for the day.

Caching in the area we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
We enjoyed this series as some finds took longer than others, it certainly on our toes. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Series is definitely a good park and grab series. Took quite a bit to find it. Got it eventually.
The cache description made this a successful find for The Queen Bee , but not before the rest of us had a short struggle finding it. Very nice hide. Thank you!
We continued down the road and stumbled across this one. I really like stumps like these - I wish I could pick them up and take them home with me - but I suspect that the farmers would be pretty upset to see their fences down...
What a nice series to do; really creative caches, and generally fairly straight forward hides, except a few where time didn't allow a more thorough searching of GZ.
GoodLook came over for the weekend so we went on an adventure together which included: attending an event where I caught up with buds I've not seen for a while; enjoying a day of caching (part of my searching for clues, gems, and other caches to unlock that vault); briefly stopping into a CITO and planting a tree; and then unfortunately I needed to go off to hospital. There was certainly a lot of laughter and silly chatter over the weekend.
Thanks for your contribution to the game, we enjoyed finding your cache.

A nice series, but wow it was a busy road!
Woz needed some caches to get his souvenirs for the current GC.com promo (Mystery at the Museum), so we thought we would check out this trail and others in this area.
Not sure what happened to us, but we had a fair few DNFs - neither of us really had our caching mojo on, so maybe we will find it easier to find them next time we are in the area.
A few days in Victoria to lift the mood and catch up with special friends....and what a great break it was. Let's just say there was a little bit of beta testing going on (wherigo cartridges), future plans hatched, yummy meals consumed, laughter shared, stories told and some chilled time woven in also. Events, a tree planting CITO, locating a few caches and lots of driving were all part of the fun.
Thanks to 6Hinemoa2! for placing this cache for our enjoyment [^]

I was making my way down to Lara in a round about sort of way finding a cache or two along the way. TFTC
Some free style caching this morning as I was in the city early and had 4 hours to burn so I headed out to a new area for me. A bit of traffic here but an easy find. Thanks to 6Hinemoa2 for the placement and fun.
Sean.75, kenare and I started the day with a breakfast event then headed south for some caching. We had a vague hit list that we wanted to find and we found them all plus a few extras. I had a great time finding lots of different sorts of caches. Sorry for generic logs but I'm tired and I'd rather keep up my logs current incase I forget some (which I have done lol). TFTC
Over this way with kenare and kenbryl for a day out, and of course some caching along the way. While logging this one, I had ants crawling all over me! Cigc. Tftc
We started the day with a breakfast event then headed down this way for a day of laughs and caches. We stopped for lunch then slowly caches our way along this road enjoying the variety of hides. Tftc and the series
having had a lovely roam around Cobbledicks we came out here to do this nice looking string of caches. found this one quite quick. THe extent to which I adore australia may just result in me moving house. SO nice to be able to cache in the dry, even in summer English caches are usually damp. TFTC
We took a detour to the Avalon Airshow to fill in a calendar space and work towards our next milestone. We had some time to kill before the fireworks tonight. It was very hot but we enjoyed the air con as we got in and out of the car.
Thanks for this enjoyable cache.
Thanks for this enjoyable cache.
Quick park and grab on my drive out tonight. Thanks for the cache. Nice scenery here
Reasonably accurate coordinates and a common style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for the cache.
Thanks to the long weekend back home, I was able to pop over the ditch for the mega and a ‘few’ caches along the way! I was really after the numbers on this trip, planning to achieve 50+ each of the three days for a challenge – something that is getting much more difficult back home! The weather was great and I had a ball thanks to all the CO’s placing great caches!
Time to collect a few in town and then head out for some more series. Nice area to explore! TFTC!!

My fifth day of a 9 day caching road trip holiday.
Well I've always heard there's 4 seasons in one day down in Melbourne. Today started with that 4th season that is least desired while caching... RAIN!
I was set to do some hiking cache trails, packed my bag with plenty of water and only realised it was raining when I got to the hotel carpark. I returned to my room to grab a rain jacket and stomped back to my car knowing that it'll be an uncomfortable day. My shoes were soaked by the 6th cache, and I was wetter in the inside of my raincoat from sweat than what the rain could have done!
Then the rain stopped after a couple of hours, but my feet stayed wet until 6pm when I took my shoes and socks off for the drive back to my hotel. Lucky that I like geocaching enough to ignore those issues!
In the end I managed to find 65 today.
Thanks for the caches.

Had me stumped for a while. Too much traffic on the road but found and logged between cars. TFTC
The "I have a new device and I'm going to use it" Adventure, part 1. I have a half-day off, and there's a list of caches my wife has done that I have not. Seems like basic logic to me...
Thanks heaps, 6Hinemoa2!
Totally stumped, until... duh!

Dan's kicking my butt today I tripped in a ditch and face planted the ground LOL! Nice quick park and grab!! Xxx
Prickly wattles around GZ here made me a bit more cautious of diving into the bushes to hunt for the cache. In the end I found a way to the cache without having to push through the offending prickles. I wonder what crops are going to be planted in the paddocks here that have recently been ploughed.
Came away with a quite a few ant friends while retrieving this cache lol tftc!
Such a busy road today but i think im doing pretty good job. A few fav phone calls on the side of the road is doing the trick. Nice quick find
Off I go to Melbourne! Down from Canberra for a caching trip around the Mega!
On the geo itinerary for today the targets were the "Three..." series, the Eynesbury series, the Legends series and whatever randoms which were along the way.
A quick find for me here on the trail.
Thanks for the hide 6Hinemoa2

Headed out for a hunt day with crank1 & Everlasting in Bacchus Marsh and Eynesbury area. I was hoping to celebrate my 1000 finds today. The weather has been good but survived with light showers in the morning. Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for bringing us here.
Accompanied with pwala and crank1 for the day. Enjoyed wander this area - the weather too cold for me lol. It was good fun day. [^][^][^]
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for organising the cache and hunt.

Took us awhile as I let my 13 y.o. step-daughter do the searching. I found within seconds once I started searching,
Out with a friend who i am trying to convince to become a full fledged cacher, and the geodaughter, found, signed and returned. TFTC- p.s sorry about the generic log.
Second on today's run with JelenaGreenleaf. This cache was swarming with ants, just a warning ! Tftc
Found with georocks101. It was quite a challenge retrieving this cache because it was swarming with ants, even on the ground. Like a few before me, I too got plenty of bites. We covered the cache as well as we could considering the ants were all over the place. Tftc
Found by Aussie Train Driver 01/06/2017, find number 1040.
I have had this series on the radar for a long time and a day off work today provided the perfect opportunity for a bit of caching.
This was the first cache of the day which I grabbed between passing cars. I also 'grabbed' a few biting ants which proceeded to annoy me for the next few minutes!
TNLNSL, TFTC!

Wasn't too far away this afternoon with a work appointment so instead of heading home after I thought I would stay in the area a collect a few Local cache. A nice variety of hides, a few drivebys on what I hopped would be quiet roads be geeeeeeeeeee they were busy as. A nice hike out too, and I stuffed up trying to get to the car so I ended up 2km away from where I thought I left the care. Oops not paying attention. Thanks for the fun, will pop back one day and collect the rest. Tftc
missed the first of this series but did find this here, a series that has plagued me for some time finally started
While staying in Keilor with a friend for a couple of days we decided to get out of the high traffic areas to go caching. We noticed there was a nice selection of caches out this way and returned here to do more after our time here yesterday. Lots of creative hides and thanks to 6Hinemoa2 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
We decided to head to Eynesbury to complete this series for no more reason than it was there, but it turned out to be a fun and interesting outing. We took the geodog who loved the walking part getting to chase a few rabbits and we were able to find all but one of the caches. Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for the series and making us aware of the history here.

A solo day spent tracking down caches on the Legends, TSS V2, Eynesbury Series and the odd ones that came up on the map.
The last stretch of the day. I knew i was not going to finish this trail but I was going to give a go.
Made all the finds on the side of the road despite the peak hour traffic.
Wow Saturdays arvos are buisy down here.

18:17, 16 Nov 16, Find #`105, Out with Myst42 today doing a few caches in the eynesbury area and this was on our list to do and was the last one we had decided for the day in the area before heading home. We parked not far away and walked to it and Myst was admiring the daisies in full bloom in the roadside garden, not long and she said Look ive found it .... so she then removed the container and log sheet and proceeded to sign our names... the container was then replaced in its hiding spot, and NO splinters were collecte on this day yipeee... TNLN TFTC.
Looking to move closer to a milestone I'd decided to visit Eynesbury in the hopes of increasing my finds to 999 as I had a particular Melbourne cache in mind for my 1,000.
Although some of the hints were cryptic almost all the caches had spot on co-ords making a find a fairly easy process.
Thanks for creating this interesting and informative series.

Decided to check out Eynesbury. Found the homestead and area amazing, and of course managed to pick up a number of caches along the way. Enjoyed a wide variety of great caches. Another Quick find.TFTC
Caching in Eynesbury, with DreamyDragon, Flaggys, Larafolk & Tikitere. Good quick find. TFTC
Out for the day to conquer Eynesbury, with DreamyDragon, Flaggy's, Redink & Tikitere. Quick find. Tftc.
On a cold and windy afternoon Bogonghazy and I ventured out to find a few more caches and take the geopups for a drive. BH has found them all before but I wanted to tick a few more from the series off my list. Found this one straight away. Thanks for the series
Found with becca85. We took a little road trip to the city for the football, stopping at Williamstown on our way in ad to Eynesbury on our way home.
A great day out. TFTC
A great day out. TFTC
Another nice quick find as the sun starts to disappear.
Today neisha07 and I decided to head to the city to see our Bombers lose yet another game. :/
We made sure to leave early to make a little caching detour. We decided on Williamstown and managed a handful of find before heading to the footy. (Should have just kept caching!)
A planned visit to my brother in Docklands didn't pan out which left us time for another detour on the way home. We headed via Eynesbury (a town we'd not previously even heard of!) and cached until it was dark and we began getting calls from home asking where we were (still 1.5hrs from home. Ooops!)
A great day despite the football scores and some great new areas discovered. TFTC!

Need to work on 10yo stealth skills. GPS is clunky around. Looks like geosenses are going to be called on today!
Another find by the McPhail family

Another quick and easy find allowing us time to attempt another couple before the dark wins. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
