FlyingPigSquadron couldn't land again! Cache archived as we no longer live in the area and cannot keep replacing it. Thanks for all the cachers who have searched and supported the cache.
Had a go at this one on the off chance we might be lucky despite the previous DNF’s. We grabbed the info and the final coords nearby seemed logical, but a thorough search revealed nothing
Made the common error with the numbers here but fixed it when we saw where the corrected coordinates were located. The revised version was at a much better place but, even after a lengthy search, we were unable to find the cache. Also checked on the ground, as it had been found there by a previous finder, but no luck there either. Our thanks anyway to FlyingPigSquadron.
After doing a general little drive yesterday it is time to go and collect some more cache today it was time to test the new bike rack on the geovehicle to transport the bike a little easier. We went basically were we went yesterday as some need the Geocycle to get to rather than the vehicle. It was another bad find day with only 5 finds and 5 DNFs
Thanks FlyingPigSquadron for placing this interesting little multi and unfortunalty it was a DNF for us and after a PM we have to report no cache was found at the location our GPS had us at and further to that we extended the search area with no luck there either.
Grand Cache count = 875 total consisting of 789 Traditionals, 25 Multi, 14 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual, 6 Event, 2 Werigo and 2 Letterbox.

Staying in Toora for a few days so this morning in the wild and woolly weather the kids and I headed out to explore the area. A nice simple multi. Great history too. Needs a new logbook. Unfortunately didn't have anything on me to replace it with. Many thanks for the cache.
Nice multi got the correct numbers but found this cache on the ground so I replaced it where I think it should be... It was wet inside signed a very soggy log book... Tftc
Before I found the cache I felt something biting at the back of my pants leg !!
I thought oh s--t a snake ? no it was a baby possum ( I think ) trying to get back up to its home
Must of thought I was a tree, for those cacher"s who know me they know I attract snakes
doing this job, so yet another story to this game we play.

GPS didn't like playing in the trees had to go back to sign a few times to get bearings. Finally found with djl77. Tftc
After a bit of searching Sambazoid77 made the find, log was still soaked so no chance to write in it, still quite the nice view. TFTC
Found on our holiday to Fish Creek. After a lovely drive up the hill, we stayed in the car as we answered the questions from the sign. It was very interesting to read about such a lovely looking dam. As we approached GZ, we unfortunately saw the cache on the ground well away from the coordinates. We have placed it at the base of a tree and under some bark near the GZ coordinates - hopefully that is okay for the meantime. Awesome place - TFTC FlyingPigSquadron!
Had a heap of fun finding this, despite the rain and howling wind, and flies! We felt a bit naughty scaling the padlocked gates. We navigated the cow pats to read about the Foster Fam. Been holidaying in the area for years and didn't know it existed! We found the cache on the ground. Suspected it had blown out of position. We have placed it back at our best guess at GZ. TFTC
Had to make a choice...go to the Mega for a second day or keep frmen1 company (was called into work). I chose the latter and decided to fill in some of the day caching. What a view! Did the calculations...oops, seem to have made a mistake. Read the hint and then had a much better set of co-ords. Found after a bit of a search. Went back for a final look before heading back to the car. TFTC and bringing me here.
Geochild and GeoDad did the maths and found the cache. Geomum enjoyed the view and had a admiring look at the nearby house. Thanks. Silkyie
Easy find since it was lying on the ground! I guess this wasn't where it should be so I elevated it to a more secure location.

Nice place and as B of Oz said we relocated it from the ground where it was laying.

Enjoyed the view over the dam, while collecting the required information.
No muggles in the area, made for a quick find.
Many thanks, FlyingPigSquadron, for showing this area to us.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, we are currently based in Foster.
After our Christmas lunch we jumped into the GeoCruiser to explore Port Franklin. Great spot we might not have visited without Geocaching. Did the calculations, oops that's not right. Recheck and hey presto!
TFTC and letting us use Geocaching to tour the local area. Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at the next Australian Geocaching Mega event

Found on our annual Santa pilgrimage to drop off presents to our children and grandchildren. This dam view has had us trying to find many times before but today we found it - at long last. The cache container was on the ground so we replaced it to where we think it is suppossed to be.
Many thanks Flying Pigs.

Went to have another try at this one now the cattle have been moved on. Oh boy there is some damage in the trees. Was just on dark when we had a rummage, but felt it probably wasn't there any more. Lovely to meet up again FlyingPigSquadron. They tell us they will check it

A big day out caching with friends Liz & Bruce in the Fish creek to foster area. On our bikes mostly along the rail trails and some along the way. Mostly they were fairly easy finds and the co-ords very good. Thanks to FlyingPigSquadron for hiding this cache.
Today was rail trail day so with two foldup bikes in the car we were on a mission plus our additional aim was to do some of the other caches around this scenic and delightful area. This was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find in conjunction with caching friends LazzaL. Loved the outlook, that nearby house sure is lucky. Thanks to FlyingPigSquadron.
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we explored Foster and surrounds using geocaching as our guide.
Found the required info at WP1 then wandered off to find the cache. TFTC FlyingPigSquadron.

Spoiler hint: (since we battled: follow description in text on board NOT under 'statistics'. Then Look at base of tree.
We dropped in to do this one, got the requisite details and then realised that the "cow" sitting where we wanted to go was actually a bull. A sudden change of plans!!! Maybe next time

A bit embarrassed to say that this was our 2nd visit to find this cache. Our geo-sense did not agree with where the co-ordinates were taking us, but we kept making the same error. We were convinced of where we should have looked, and returning today with fresh eyes and fresh numbers confirmed our original suspicions. Very relieved not to have to look out in the middle of the paddock. Silly us. Thanks FlyingPigSquadron for bringing us back to the spectacular views around this area. We collected the travel bug to take back closer to home.
2nd to find . First try on the coordinates had us heading for the middle of the paddock, but after a quick double check we got to the right spot and found it fairly quickly. TFTC.
First to find. Wow. Found GZ through deduction and soon realised gps battery had died, off to local servo back to cache, poor reasoning sent gps to middle of paddock nooo.... that cant be right a quick working over the co ords and cache soon found. A nice little stop over with a lovely view. TFTC
