Found this cache easy enough but didn't do the whole trail as my knees aren't that good but after doing the other one on the trail wished that I did as it looks a very pleasant walk. Would make a good power trail as there is much info on the way. Maybe next time I'm in the area it may be there. Thanks geono for the cache.
a beautiful trail, but i had to go back after the cache was found. our car were parking on the top.tftcurmasuri from bremerhaven/germany
I was going to give this one a miss but decided to go for it from the other cache here. It was not that bad on my knees. When I was getting close to the hide I thought there it is and with a quick Look I found it.This is another 11 + year cache that I found around here. Thanks for putting this one out for all to enjoy.
An afternoon trip to Uralla for some caching. I had about 2h and thought I would clear out the town but there are lots of good caches, including some short walks, i took it leisurely, enjoying it a lot, went over time and ended up getting about 2/3 of the caches around. Well, a good reason for another visit maybe next year. This cache was a short walk on the loop track from the other cache and back. Once the dog walker had past I checked the only logical spot a bit closer and found the well tucked away container. Quick find, nice cache, all in good order. Thank you geono. for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
Heading home after a few days exploring and caching around the Armidale area.
A nice short walk around the mountain with plenty of information signs to read along the way. No trouble locating the hide.
Thanks for the cache

We scampered up the walking track between rain showers and grabbed this one. Great area to explore. Thanks!
Parked on Lookout Dr and wandered up the track reading the information signs along the way, quick find once at GZ

Day 5
Armidale to Tamworth.
I thought it would be a simple cache to find from top.. wrong... up/down eitherway its a walk, anyway we eventually found it and back up the hill again!!
This is a Road trip south back to ACT, originally to Dayboro, but now a caching trip around NSW for the Easter break.
found with StrangeTrousers
thanks geono.

#7086 Day 5 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we headed out of Armidale down towards Tamworth. Only a short trip of 150km or so, but with sufficient geostops to fill out the day. Highlights for today had to be the geono caches around Uralla and Uralla itself. We bumped into "The Neighbs" along the way and had a chat. They were heading up to the Mega too, but had to divert.
We could have approached this better. We parked at the top and scrambled down, only to discover we had to climb back up again.
Thanks geono.

Today is our 4th day of being based in Uralla for Easter (instead of at the Dayboro mega in QLD as initially planned), and we are having a lovely time (except for missing all the social activities).
Chook decided to do this lovely little walk today while Chunk drove down to the other end to pick her up. Thoroughly enjoyed all the numerous info boards along the way. TFTC geono.

Checked today. Sorry to previous searchers, the cache was missing. Replaced in the same hide.
After what has felt like an eternity, we are finally taking our first geocaching road trip since Clear Waters with Crzymelly, TeamPQS and HubbyandMrs.
Today was another 'trail' day. We elected to complete the Mihi Trail from Armidale to Uralla before lunch and potential rain. Then with a belly full of food, search out the Uralla caches.
After eyeing off this cache from Lookout Road, it was obvious that the was an alternate start point. Reading the cache description confirmed this. Headed to a more appropriate start point and quickly made our was to GZ. The location was obvious, but searching in holes and overturning rocks did not reveal anything 'cache-like' Maybe it has been muggled.

Caching in and around Uralla and surrounds, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Second cache for us after arriving in town. Who would've thought that there was a walking trail on a 'mountain' that didn't actually take you to the top of the mountain? (Yes we drove to the top!)

I have walked past this one twice a day (almost) every day for a year now. Simple, but clever. Thanks! Took nothing, left a dragonfly rock
After reading some of tbe logs while at the Lookout I decided to leave this cache but Pa came with me. It was a scramble down but an easy find at GX. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find. SL
I rather think Ian took us the wrong way to reach this cache, we found ourselves coming down from the lookout. I should have read the description rather than let him navigate. Ah well, we reached GZ easily enough and enjoyed a short stroll along the trail before finding the cache. I was hoping for some photos from the lookout but the trees have grown too high so we had to settle for glimpses instead.
thanks geono

Checked on the cache and it was indeed missing. Replaced the container in a different spot but at the same co-ordinates. Apologies to the previous cachers. Dropped off Crazysnowbdr's first bug.
We enjoyed the stroll up here as we've been sitting in the car too much. The autumn leaves are beautiful although there's rain in the air. Once we found the cache we continued round Mt. Mutton. TFTC geono.
Walked on from the last. Nice in the shade of the trees. Then I spied where it should be as the iPhones GPS arrow was pointing there too.

Day four of my roadtrip with Jamin Appleford began at a great little roadside stop with a fantastic view over the valley. We continued making our way north towards the 2015 Mega event in Stanthorpe, QLD with Tamworth being our target for tonight. The main caches I wanted to find were ones that helped me to qualify for "The Well Travelled Cacher Challenge" in Moe.
Continuing to make our way around town, this one was next. we parked at the tow which in retrospect was a mistake, but made it to GZ nonetheless and cache was quickly found by JA. Log stamped and onward we went.
Thanks to geono. for the cache. TNLN

On big trips like this we don't really do much planning ahead in reading up on individual caches too much, just follow the green on our GPSr. The problem with that is we sometimes get to a cache and go huh??? Ok, let's scramble back down the hill again.
This was also a bit like the Simpsons episdode when Homer is out in a thunderstorm and grabs a sheet of roofing iron to hold over his head as he runs to the biggest tree to shelter under. Let's see, thunder rolling all around us, where shall we cache? Let's go up to the highest place around town .

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day four and we were off from Tamworth to Armidale. There was a bit of rain about today, and it did modify our journey a bit, but we still had a great time and saw the first of some really creative hides in this region. We first tried the wrong approach for this one, then found ourselves at another spot and headed off. Nice walk. Thanks.

Was out this way yesterday but could not see a suitable track from up at the lookout.
Today we returned & wandered further along the walking trail, very pleasant at this time of the day. Good coord & hint made for a quick find. Now its time to return for happy hour & some good company.
This is our last cache we found while staying at Uralla. This has been a great couple of days caching in the area, so many good caches to be found in this small town
Thanks geono for all the good caches.

#1434 - after having morning tea at the "picnic facility" we headed on our fully loaded bicycles and made our way around to this cache.
Thought I would be clever and come at this one from above. Lol not a good idea. GZ for me was 7 metres above the track and jumping around so I switched it off and on and moved down onto track where I spied a likely set of rocks. Bingo. Oh well back up the hill I go. Last one for today.... Maybe
Found cache, found my first TB Mr.Cold Tap, now to figure out how to log travel bugs! Left alien badge.
Brown cache still in place. Removed the white container that went missing some time ago. It appears to have been roaming free and spotted in different locations but we hadn't managed to pin it down. Left Mr Cold Tap TB.
Well, I found the WHITE container lying in the open at the foot of tree off the track. Signed the log and secreted it close to where I found it. I have no idea if that is where it was supposed to be but i will say that it is a good 20m from where my device places GZ, so i think it was chucked down there. I did not find the brown container. Could the CO please check on the cache. I will email you a photo of the tree where i found the white one.
