Cache is long gone and hasn't been found for several months. Needs archiving or replacing
As with others before us, found the remains of the bridge, found the big log, neither of which were near our GZ. Scoured both & the ground & water course between. No signs of a cache were spotted. Some fairly thick jungle territory hereabouts. Plenty of thorny, brambly, thistly & scratchy stuff!
Found the bridge and after searching a while looked at the photos for a last resort, found exact spot where photo was taken of open cache but still no luck. Can someone confirm if cache is still there? Thanks
It's still here. Very wet. I've put in a new log in 2 plastic zip lock bags. Hopefully this will stay dry for the summer.
Lovey place very tranquil. To quite for trolls today. TFTC

You may want to check this one, we were looking for it on the weekend but dnf. With the recent rough weather and flooding I think a quick check may be in order
Found this one a few weeks ago but forgot to log it. Cache very wet and log book soggy!!! TNLN. TFTC!
Didn't know this reserve existed. We found the cache about 10m north of GPS GZ and it is completely sodden wet inside and needs maintenance.
The Troll is there but he has drowned. All the contents are water logged. Needs maintenance.
no luck for us today. Waters have been high here and as a result there is plant debri wrapped around everything. Searched as best we could for quite some time but no entirely sure cache is still here to be found
A quick find but certainly tested the waterproofness of our boots getting to this one after the recent rain. Boots survived but jeans were wet about 6 inches up.
The cache was in a sad and sorry state and was completely full of water. The best we could do under the circumstances was empty it out but it desperately needs attention.
Thanks.

12:04:07 After a false start we located an easy way in. A little bee dance before logic kicked in and cache was quickly found. Some how we missed all the mud and stayed dry. The hardest part was the walked back up to were we had parked the car.
JABs.

On a caching trip with the family up north. This is to help my cub scouting challenge we did 50 in one day which is a record for the whole family together.
The only troll found here was YOU c&j.szauber ( it's okay people, we're biologically related )
SL, TFTC dearest sister and brother in law!

Down the creek in the rain. Coords seemed about 12m out but description led me there. Cache being guarded by the biggest slimiest slug I have ever seen. Doug enjoyed the run. Thanks Szaubers.

Found whilst walking with the geotwins. Nice morning and grass cut low all the way to gz so no slithering friends around. TFTC
#114 - 20:35; Don't know about the Billy Goats, but was a little gruff when the GPS was out. Luckily for Bronte14 and I, the landmark was easily sighted and cache retrieved without trolls or water. TFTC
Took a bit of searching but eventually found GZ. GPS had us about 10 or so metres off. After re-reading the description we had no problems. TFTC
second go at this cache but we found it in the end. thanks to J&C. Szauber for taking us to the park that we have never been to. (GPS put me about 12m away from the GZ)
Of the thirteen caches we found today, this one took us the longest (by far) to locate. Our GPS kept taking us into a foliated and prickly area and was very insistent about the location. However it didn't match the other information we had about the cache - the cache title and parts of the description. So we explored more widely and located a possible troll hang out. We were dubious of how a cache could be hidden in the immediate area of the "bridge" as there was a steady flow of water - one would imagine that after a little rain the whole area would be under water for a period of time. However after poking and prodding for a few minutes the cache revealed itself. Although the outside of the cache was quite damp, the contents were in good condition. After signing the log our GPS indiacted that we were 12m from where it thought GZ should be. TFTC J&C.Szauber
Did a sweep of local caches that have recently been published and this was one of them. Nice to visit a park not visited before cache was safe and sound in its hiding spot TFTC
Didn't find it after a quick search over bridge, but the water was running through the top level of rocks on the bridge, is it still there? I also saw what looked like a black plastic pan thing squashed under a few rocks, that wasn't it?
Anyway, Ill have another try sometime soon.

Wow, a pretty cool spot I never knew about!
Had to think about it for a second as the gps wasn't of much use!
Thanks!

Hi J&C Szauber
Today was the first day of a two caching expedition with Budgietas and Cheesy Pigs. The day was fine and just what you want for caching.
Left Huonville at 0700hrs, met up with the two other finders and left for Launceston about 0900hrs. Got back to Huonville on the first of November at 2340hrs. A great trip; first day excellent and was topped off with an event and caching to mid-night after. Crashed for the night down near the airport.
This cache was my 34thth find for the day:
After attending the event "Just Because" at the Cock n Bull, Budgietas, Cheesy Pigs, CraigRat and myself continued caching late into the night. After a short search, the cache was found, the log signed and the container replaced as found at 2248hrs. An interesting little feature to find in the dark, but found never the less. Starting to get tired by now!
From this cache it was off to search for "Plumber Needed" next.
This days caching produced fourty-one finds for me, eclipsing my previous best finds for a day by twelve finds, total of forty-one for the trip so far. I think Cheesy beat his previous best too.
Thanks for the cache;
Cheers OldSaint.

Hi sc szauber
We had a bit of a bush bash into this area, as we could not pick up a track from the road. The cache took some finding as the coordinates had us slightly on the wrong side of the bridge. But when we thought about the name of the cache the cache was found very quickly.
Found with Craigrat, CheesyPigs and OldSaint

I loved this one and the magic behind the name, we found GPS not so useful so we searched for ages at GZ until we decided to go with the logic we had at the beginning. Tftc, team elcato
No luck last night as the bridge was under water. This afternoon the tide had gone out so I was able to locate cache with dry feet. TFTC
WOOOOOO HOOOOOO FTF on my birthday wow what a day great place for cache but didnot see the crafty troll o well maybe next time. T.C.S.L
Nice little/big park. Have not seen an old bridge like this one in a very loooooooooooong time. Took a TB for a visit. TNLN TFTC
Great hide. Had us looking for a bit before going back to where we started - and there it was! A lovely quiet spot with a gurgling stream in the middle of suburbia. Thanks J&C.Szauber for organising the cache and bringing us here. TNLNSL.
