We followed the bunnies not quite down their rabbit hole but we did end up in the middle of a cacti field! Cross country we went and climbed a nearly invisible fence that could easily clean up a person in lower light. The cache was a quick find and quickly made our way along for just one more before the clouds spilt the rain..
My son found this one pretty quickly. The log was dry and container in good condition.
This is a very interesting area along this loop thank you for bringing me here. Found the treasure safe and sound in its hiding place. TFTC
The container has a termite nest on the side of it but found it in a sneaky spot!
Found on the 8/7/21 during a wonderful afternoon caching around Eynesbury. TFTC
Now that the extreme weather has settled it seemed a good day to get out and about and go for a walk. This series has been on my radar for a while so off today to see what I could find. A couple of fascinating old buildings here which I enjoyed exploring before finding this neat cache Thanks 6Hinemoa2
Wow what a super interesting spot! Really enjoying looking at these historic abandoned buildings. Tftc
Having been home for a few days I decided to head out on a short mid week adventure. I headed out west to explore some caches in an area I have not been before.
A quick find as it looks like some rain is going to settle in.
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for the cache.

For the welfare of all I feel there is no choice in the matter as the virus is transmitted by surface contact and geocaching by nature, is a game that involves touching.

Out to find a few caches for my last caching day of the year. I chose this area as I have found a few here previously and had still plenty more to target. I also decided to try and make it to the intervening days event in Melton later in the day. It was a hot day with lots of dust and flies but a satisfying total of 49 caches in all to clock over my 2000th find for the calendar year. After parking up at the suggested place I set off on foot to find numbers 11 to 19. It was great to get the history lesson along the way too. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series 6Hinemoa2.
Caching in the area we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
We enjoyed this series as some finds took longer than others, it certainly on our toes. An excellent hide, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Headed to Eynesbury for a short Sunday drive with the geo-puppy. This was our second cache find of the day.

It was a short stroll from the Managers House to the Shearers Quarters. These were a surprise as most of the shearers buildings we have visited have been wooden. These are beautiful red brick constructions.
After checking out the brick buildings we moved across to look at the little timber building and what looked like an old grain threshing machine housed inside. It was then off towards GZ.
As we approached we spotted another object that says check me out to a geocacher. On inspection we spotted the little container. Container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache 6Hinemos2 we enjoyed seeing these old buildings.

Finally found. Nearly gave up. Interesting spot but thought cache may have gone as it à long time since it was found. Fabulous day for .a walk. Greetings from Adelaide
It was a nice walk along the path to GZ. This one took a bit to find as we were looking in the wrong spot and the GPS was playing up. We soon spotted where it was. SL TNLN.
This one had us walking around a bit until georocks101 spotted the sneaky hide. Really enjoyed walking up this trail and seeing these building and structures. Tftc
Found this hide while exploring the area this afternoon with omegaman1971. Also we had a sneaky peak at the old building and a few old bits of equipment, also located the cache after a short search, TFTC 6Hinemoa2.
omegaman1971# 2909 finds
Back caching in an area I haven't cached since here 2013.
Had fun exploring the nearby structure.
Cheers for the cache

Difficult find, the hide had been filled with dirt covering the cache completely, on our first look we didn't see it so after searching the surrounds for a while went back with a stick to do a tap test found a hollow so started to dig the dirt out to unearth the container, hedgerow was of no use he was asleap in thw warmth of my pocket sl left gold chain took smiley ball tftc. Cache in good condition otherwise but could do with a new log book
No luck with this one. The GPS had me in the middle of the path with no obvious hiding spots on either side. I had another look on the way back after restarting the GPS, it still had me in the same place. There grass is quite long and thick around here at the moment so it's probably buried in it somewhere. Thanks anyway, some interesting relics nearby.
We decided to head to Eynesbury to complete this series for no more reason than it was there, but it turned out to be a fun and interesting outing. We took the geodog who loved the walking part getting to chase a few rabbits and we were able to find all but one of the caches. Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for the series and making us aware of the history here.
Finally walking, after calculating the multi at 11. Geodog very happy. This was the first cache and it didn't take long to find it. Cache in good order.

Looking to move closer to a milestone I'd decided to visit Eynesbury in the hopes of increasing my finds to 999 as I had a particular Melbourne cache in mind for my 1,000.
Although some of the hints were cryptic almost all the caches had spot on co-ords making a find a fairly easy process.
Thanks for creating this interesting and informative series.

Decided to check out Eynesbury. Found the homestead and area amazing, and of course managed to pick up a number of caches along the way. Enjoyed a wide variety of great caches. A quick grab. TFTC
Another find for us today. Thank you for your efforts in making each hide different, it makes this walk so much more enjoyable.
its surprising that this area was once used so much but is now just all fenced off

A lot of great aussie history today. Great area to visit with geodogs.

30 June 2016 enjoying our time in this historic area learning some history. Tftc
My daughter found this one straight away she was pretty chuffed with herself. Thanks
Nearly over shot this in way to looking at more of the ruins, thanks for the cache out here, lovely walk
Today I was on a mission to do all the caches in Eynesbury within a 2 hour window, lucky for me most of them were stop and grabs. Thanks for the great series.
Headed in to Eynesbury with the Geofamily today for the fantastic Farmer's Market. Hoping to get a 31 day find streak we went for a walk along the historic shearing shed track.
TFTC and the series!!!

Found with St37E on a caching run to clear our remaining unfound Eynesbury caches. Thanks for brining us here.
Found in the company of Glanville Girls on a quick Sunday trip to add a few caches to our tally, this one was a nice quick find before taking a photo of the shearing shed

Out today with the LalorBrennan's for our first hunt together for a while. The kids had a great time spending time together and it was great to see them all getting along (most of the day) hunting for the treasure we were after. All caches found today were in good repair and were a treat to find. Thank you to all the CO's, we had a great day.
Well camo'd but I needed to wait while some ramblers appeared from nowhere. They insisted I keep walking up the track to see the main shearer's quarters.
I decided to start tackling some of the Eynesbury caches with the geofamily. Great walking location!
Maintenance run. Swaps not replaced this time. Thanks to all those who have swapped fairly.
Out for a walk this morning and a visit to this area to finish off the remainder of the series seemed like a good idea, even despite the weather outlook.
Magic little spot this, took me back to my childhood when I would spend school holidays on the grandparents farm. Quick find.
Thanks for placing this cache 6Hinemoa2

TheRustyDuck was after some multis and wanted to do the few nearby. I hadn't down this series previously and he was kind enough to let me do this cache on our way past. TFTC
I love the old farm equipment in the shed, particularly the old harvester which looks in incredibly good condition considering its exposure to the elements, etc. And then that wonderful brick building.. Now THAT makes me envious. I could see myself living in there (renovated and restored of course!) I wonder if the developers would sell it to me? TFTC
On the way back from the stone wall we decided to have one more crack at this one. This time the GPS was much more accurate and the find was made very quickly
[:(!] Went for afternoon of caching with the geowife and this was one of them.
I like it

In a bid to shake off the effects of Christmas, I loaded the family (minus the Geomonkey who had escaped to Melbourne for a day's shopping with a friend) into the Geo6E and we headed towards Eynesbury to have a crack at this series which has been sitting on my map waiting for me for so long.
After a bit of a detour to grab a few other caches (including one bearing my name ), it was finally time to have a crack at this great series.
With lunch out of the way, it was time for a walk, so we headed off for a few more finds. From our previous find, we couldn't quite work out which direction we were supposed to take, so took the direct approach (being careful where we stepped) and were soon at GZ where I made a quick find.
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 !

We picked this cache up at 2:08pm. I spotted a knot that was out of place in this location and the cache was in hand moments later.
Day 2 of 4 for Sharkiefan's "get close to 300 finds before going to the US" project. After our massive day yesterday, today's plan was a little more sedate day of caching around Eynesbury, collecting the series of caches and anything else we could find along the way. We ended the day with a respectable 21 finds. Thanks for the cache and the series 6Hinemoa2.

Left home this morning with our sights set on the Eynesbury trail, but the weather wasn't kind to us. Luckily the weather this afternoon has cleared up , so here we come.

Note to self to come back here with bikes and a picnic. Fabulous to see families playing together. Fun exploring the dilapidated farm houses with old machinery. Bird life everywhere. Off to enjoy a sunset. Little reception in the area, no good for geocacher a with phone only.
Out on a day/night of caching with Geordiefamily around Melton to add smileys to the map.
Had issues here with the GPS and Phone not settling down but cache was spotted by Geordiefamily and on to the next one.
Thanks for the Cache 6Hinemoa2

on a visit from Geelong with alchey. Lovely tranquil walk. GPS and phone had us everywhere but gz, but luckily spotted something not quite right tftc.
We are catching up with some very late logs.
We met up with Elkins88 at "Eynesbury 1 Welcome" and are now traveling with them to do this series.
Quite an interesting location and construction. The building would not give much weather protection at the moment but it is still standing.
Another nice easy find right where the GPSr was pointing and again our names have been added to the log.
Many thanks once more 6Hinemoa2 for this very interesting series.
