I’ve looked at this one a number of times over the past 6 months with no luck. Going to call it a DNF as it’s either missing or hidden too well for my eyes.
I have to add my name to this growing list of DNF's
Looked at lots of things but nothing found.
Very good camo I imagine - any chance of a hint?

Not a great deal of time to search today.
Gave up after 15 minutes because I needed to get home.
Interested to see the CO check this one after the string of DNFs recently.

Searched and searched with torch and everything, couldn't get it today which is a shame as we are here on holiday and probably won't get another try
Seen some shocking peppercorn caches, and some even worse ti-tree ones on the coast. This is as bad as the mongrel one at Nathalia and by virtue of the age of the tree, they're always in the centre of town. Worse, you can never be sure therefore if the thing is still there, or been pushed further into the tree, or returned correctly. As you can guess, not my favourite kind of cache. Thanks.
We walked around this tree so many times we almost became dizzy! We looked and re-looked into every nook and cranny using a torch as past logs suggest to no avail. Frustratingly after 1 hour, geodad was dragged away defeated, against his will, by the rest of the geofamily. Having my own difficulty 4 cache hidden in a peppercorn tree, I thought I had this covered. I was sooo wrong. TFTH
2 DNFs and 8 finds and 1 attended for a day trip to Echuca area with Cybergran V [^]
We bounced on dirt roads, got into places that Cybergran V didn't think we would, we saw heaps of Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes at a camping area where they were training the dogs
We finally found a multi cache near Echuica that's bugged me for ages [^] and while doing so showed a dog walking muggle what geocaching is all about too
The day ended with a great catch up with Bec & Gemma at the pub tea
As I am about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

A quick search while the rest of the family used restrooms. I will need to look harder on my next visit.
We had a nice picnic lunch beside the river on day 1 of our drive from Melbourne to Cairns.

We stopped on the roads where suitable to pull over with a caravan on, to find a cache.
We have now set up camp along the side of the mighty Murray, quiet a few campers here.
We recall looking for this one some time ago, today with a more thorough search I came up with a find.
Thanks for placing this cache Blacklegend

Short of climbing a huge tree, looked in all the nooks and crannies. Not found. oh well.
3 minutes til cache in hand! Thanks to previous loggers saying to be thorough! Fabulous old giant! TFTC
It took about 15 min and three and 3 half of us, but we found the little sneak! Don’t give up and inspect everything
On our journey back to vic from qld I really wanted to do some caching but we were behind schedule. But we did stop for a loo break and saw this was neat by. We went round and round and round but could not find. However I did find a tiny little frog in the of the holes in the tree it was so cute. Hopefully we will be back again one day to look.

Wow!! If it wasn't for the help of LucyMayAdams it would have taken me ages to find it. What a tiny, well camouflaged cache. A load of fun for my 1st find.

Super camouflage found on my way to breakfast probably easier to find later in the day.TFTC
Out n about with AESPL. OMG took ages to find. Finally after nearly giving up n moving on i was reading back through some older logs n it dawned on me n after a bit more in depth searching I found it. Thankfully there were no creepy 8 legged residents. TFTC.
Took longer to retrieve then to find, found in minute about three minutes to get it.

Only a quick look as there were a few muggles around. Stick my hand in a few holes but found nothing. Im sure it's there somewhere but alas it has eluded me today.thx anyway.
After we had lunch and a nice small talk with a local we had a look for this one. The weather was a bit cold but sunny. After a while I spotted something odd. It didn't really belong to the tree. Got ya! Very nice camo. As we opened the container there was no logbook. So we grabbed a scissor and and a piece of paper and created a new one.
Thanks for showing. Tftc

Found though I had nothing to sign with. It certainly was neat camouflage but when I narrowed it down to places the hide could possibly be, it didn't take too long.
On my way south towards home I stopped to stretch the legs in Toc and to find a couple of caches
Plenty of parking so I set out on foot in the rain
A couple of laps of the tree and I was hoping for some local knowledge from this tree
I spotted something but dismissed it then went back to it and had the cache in hand
Great camo on this one
Thanks Blacklegend TFTC

Nice hide. Thankfully a little something caught my eye before we got too cold and we were soon back in the warmth of the car on on to the next. Many thanks on a fun cache.
Wow the stories this knowledgeable tree could tell about the things it has seen, especially geocachers searching all over it trying to find its little treasure haha. Luckily for us the area was pretty much deserted which allowed for an uninterrupted, and thankfully fairly brief search. Took a couple of laps of careful looking and prodding, and then we spotted it. With a muggle mate staying at this lovely, peaceful river-town for a couple of nights, I really wanted to find this one being attracted to the 4-Star D-Rating [^] Found after a short search [Back in Adelaide we have a rant about Nano's {all in good humour of course} and here goes my version of it ...]
"Blasted nano's! The bane of all cache-hides and frustration of all Cacher's everywhere. Liquidate all Nano-Stocking companies and spank all those that sell them!"
The cache and it's scroll are all good and dry. Nice tricky hide by the way TFTC Blacklegend

Muggle cousin found this cache in under 2 minutes with the aide of a trusty pen to move the cobwebs tftc
Clever cache. Not for the faint hearted...if you don't like spiders, walk away. tftc
I have to agree with previous catchers... This one needs patience and a torch - (even in the daylight). Previous logs were of great help. Kids didnt notice id found it!
Bloody little blighter of a cache this one. Couldn't beat me tho as I must have had the geo-vibe today. Took less than 1 circle of the tree & 1.5 mins of searching with a torch. We must have been on the same wave length today.
Found at 11:01am even with 2 oldies sitting on the bench. Had to fight my way past the cache guardians (8 legged black ones) to retrieve the cleverly disguised cache. No-one would ever see it. Not many people in town on this sunny day. Very good hide, top marks!

No joy for us today, but judging by the previous posts the camo may have beaten us-nice spot though! Thanks for bringing us here
We have driven or walked past this one a few times over the years but never even tried looking due to all the Muggles. Today seemed about as quiet as we would ever see the area so decided to try and have a little look. Approaching G.Z. i had a thought about how i would hide a cache in such a spot. Luckily for me the C.O. was thinking the same way and after circling the tree once or twice noticed what i was looking for.

I got lucky, the cache was the first place I looked. Awesome cache and location, thanks
On our way from Parkes to Melbourne. After an I've cream stop we found this gem. Tftc
We found this one after about 10 minutes of searching.
Mum's first geocache too!
Mum's first geocache too!
Looked for this two years ago without any luck and later saw it'd been missing . . . sigh, not completely cacheblind it appears. Today was the first time we've been back and now there's no popular business nearby to hamper the search. The last hunt helped heaps, we found the cache where we thought it should have been. A wicked little cache and a stately old tree, TFTC Blacklegend.
Evil cache indeed! My second visit here in the past year. Brought along someone with better eyesight than me! TFTC.
Found by Team Ninja 03/11/2016. I recall unsuccessfully searching for this cache last year but it seems I accidentally logged it as a find! I've now rectified the mistake but I have the pleasure of turning this one into a proper smiley with my name now in the log book. There were no muggles around which made my hunt a little easier, and I scoured the tree for a good 10 minutes, disturbing more of the local mosquito army in the process. I tried re-reading previous logs for help, but it was only after employing the aid of the torch on my phone to light up the shadows that I saw the glint of something metal. Wow, wasn't expecting it to be a nano, you're an evil genius Blacklegend. Haha, nice work with the camo.

Found by Mary & David at 0849. An amazing specimen. If only that bark could talk! Signed as mm. What a wonderful streetscape from this angle too. Our thanks to Blacklegend.
Having a long weekend with the family, we took the geokids on a caching expedition in the surrounding area. The ground was a bit wet, but the sun was out. Apparently I touched the hide as soon as we arrived but it wasn't until the geowife took a closer look that we made the find. TFTC!
Found at 10:10am, thought we may have been disappointed but as usual that last look revealed something different! Very clever idea Blacklegend. SL TFTC
Staying up in Yarrawonga for a couple of days, we headed out and about for a drive around the area,
We stopped here to check out the big Murray cod , I walked across and quickly grabbed this cache,
Thanks Blacklegend [:x]

Had a look yesterday with no luck, came back today with fresh eyes and a coffee and success!
Tocumwal is always one of our designated stops between home and Coffs Harbour, but today was the first time as cachers. So a find was a must do! This one had a good DT rating so we thought we would give it a shot especially as it was so close to the Giant Cod Fish where we always seem to park. A muggle was very close by so it took some time to be able to get up close and personal with this fine specimen of a tree without looking too suspicious. With both of us circling around and around looking in every nook and cranny , it still took some time to find this sneaky hide. What 1 team member had dismissed , the other thought otherwise...thankfully.
Thanks Blacklegend for the tricky hunt.
Thanks Blacklegend for the tricky hunt.
This well camouflaged cache kept us going in circles for quite a while before I spotted it. Fortunately the muggle factor was quite low, so retrieval and replacement went smoothly. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
We have to agree with you Blacklegend on the age of the peppercorn tree - how do they know it is the oldest? We took a walk to this cache while our fish and chips were cooked at a nearby shop. Mrs harrowang was quick to spy this one as it had been put back incorrectly, but not being of tall stature she called upon the assistance of Mr harrowang to extract the little sucker. Nice hide and camo. SL at 5.40pm and hid correctly, so the next finder may well find the difficulty rating matches the hide! Time to collect our fish & chips and find a shady spot to eat them, before making our way back to Wangaratta. #3412 TFTC Blacklegend - we will be back to turn more of these green boxes into smiley faces at another time.
Quick find took a little to retrieve without being seen. Cache find 1000 for me. Yay. And the first for our holiday. Nice camo. Found with touty78. Signed as A89
On the way to snowy mountain town for overnight...
Easy to spot as sign the log with no trouble..

Muggles everywhere but the best thing was javing HannahBandana on my shoulders looking.
She spotted it first, actually.

Found on a trip to Rutherglen. Sneaky hide but by some fluke we found it fairly quickly. Because we didn't have our geocaching tools we needed to use some native help to get the log out of the cache burin the end it was across the road for an ice cream. TFTC

To my knowledge, I have tried, and failed twice, on a previous visit to Toc to find this cache
This morning, I made a beeline to the olde tree to have another go
I knew it would be muggly here at 8:00 am.
The newsagent would be doing a roaring trade !!
But most people are in too big a rush to worry about a bloke standing around, looking at a tree
After five minutes or so, I spied a spot that I must have looked at numerous times already.
Yet this time around, it just struck me as being the right spot
Dunno why ?? It just did
Closer inspection revealed nothing
Yet something was there, I could sense it [:o]
Yeah ... that there !!
It took some poking with a stick, but eventually I had a very well camoed cache sitting in me paw
I have only ever seen one other cache disguised this way !!
It is very effective [^]
So now I have 'the knowledge' I can watch this cache and get a good laugh every time an e-mail arrives
TFTC, a bit of dubious history, and the reminder nearby of the best way to take to the sky
