On the way home from WAGB24 we spotted the amount of favourite points on this cache and decided to detour to it. There were no trackables here on our visit- sorry we didn't have one to drop there.
I came over to WA last year for WAGB 23 and had such a great time so I decided to come back over again for this years events in Augusta. So after all of the planning with dates worked out my work decided that I could only have one week off so flying over was my only option. So I flew into to Perth and my first stop will be Busselton for 2 nights. It has been 47 years since I was in this part of WA and Im really looking forward to the re visit.Im making my way down the coast and picking out caches that look interesting to me.After spending a bit of time in Bunbury it was back to the Geo Rent a Car to continue along the coast and I then made it to Busselton.Day 3 of the trip. After caching around Busselton, Dunsbourgh and Cape Naturaliste its time to head to Albany for 3 nights and cache along the way.No flying for me today as I have the car and the joystick was activated and the cache found. Thanks Moneybox TFTC.
Find number 13904 at 10:34:04AM on Saturday the 14 September 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Today we headed up to Bussellton to visit the jetty but didn't get to go out on it because it was sort of full so we will book in for tomorrow. We also went out to Cape Naturaliste and back to camp via Canal Rocks, and we grabbed the odd cache along the way A nice hide, had me thinking before I read the hint!**Thanks for placing this cache Moneybox**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
Took a little while to figure out, but once we spotted the joystick the cache was revealed. Great work. Wondered why the previous finders logged as a find when they stated they could not open the cache? Favourite point from us.
Sad that the lid was jammed, and we couldnt sign the log would have been really exciting to open
TFTC. Cache found, but unable to sign log as the actual lid of container was jammed. Joystick seems to be missing.
A quick drop off here to stretch the legs before arriving in town, cache is all goodIn WA for 3 days, so I decided to hire a car and head south from Perth and drive around the wheat belt and back up the coast line. Day 2, after staying in Albany for the evening I headed off towards Busselton, first stop was Denmark to try and find all of the BYOB and a few other before making my way along the back roads finding a few caches along the way before caching around Busselton in the evening. Thanks for the cache
Found and discovered some tbs that we will move on to another location !

Final day of the Busso weekend and just picking up a few more in the area before heading off towards home. This was one that I stopped off at on the way out to the 'ABBA' series Road was fairly quiet so a quick park and grab here on the way past. Sadly the hide is past its prime, but it was still great to find a large enough location to drop some TBs. One picked up, 2 dropped off No problems today - TFTC
Busselton Day3
We have set up in the caravan park for 3 nights. This will give us time to tour the area.
Headed out of town towards the ABBA series, mostly rural finds today
Dropped off a TB here
Thankyou to the CO's for hiding this cache

Spotted the host as I turned the corner, pulled over and walked over to add my name to the log and drop a couple of TB’s off.

No TBs or GCs from us & none to take on an adventure will have to come back another time in hopes of a TB/GC or two.
Cache itself is a little battered however still functional. We assume it had some kind of mechanism to open the cache at some point. That would have been great to see.
Still happy cachers, though. tftf

Sadly no TBs but nifty cache. Not sure if there was supposed to be a joystick involved ....
A quick flying visit to this cache to drop off a couple of TBs

Even saw a plane now that we’re open for Interstate flights
**No joystick to speak of and TB is no longer here**

Down in Busselton for a long weekend, making use of a spare bed made available to me for the weekend. This was one of the finds made.
Nice large cache where I discovered a TB. Not sure about the joystick, have a feeling it’s no longer. Cheers Moneybox!

Find 7 of 15 with a single DNF and including a rare opportunistic FTF, on a cool and windswept bike ride out to Busselton Airport and back, then circling around the Vasse Estuary - at 43km, longer than our usual cache rides.
Excellent hide and concept. No TBs in place so we dropped what we had to hand, which is actually a TB we have picked up and dropped off twice before, so it's likely that "we'll meet again".
TFTC Moneybox!

Started our 2nd tour of WA now touring around the south and now checking out Busselton. 26 January 2022 3:02 pm Tyfc Moneybox total caches now 3788
Earlier I was past by an ambulance in a hurry. Minutes later I saw a rescue helicopter fly over head. When I turned the corner it all made sense. I plead lack of local knowledge as a recent immigrant to WA and so did not know of the airport ahead of time.
The cache was found quickly, and nicely done.
I left a trackable I retrieved in Tasmania before we left.

Nice quick cache and a few noisy cockatoos around Said hi to TB Dolphin but left him there for someone else to take him on a flight
Thanks for this! It’s our first one and my niece and nephew are now hooked! We’ve got lots to do on boring weekends!
Spotted quickly.

On my way from a few days caching at Busselton to Nannup for a day or two. Couldn't let a Moneybox cache pass me by without stopping off. I'm not sure how the cache is supposed to raise up but retrieved it anyway without issue. Dropped TB off. Thanks Moneybox. Another cool creation by you. Favourite point.
We are taking some time off over the Christmas holidays to travel around the South Coast of WA starting at Esperance and heading west.
We were heading in Busselton and went passed this one. I saw that it had a few favourite point so I decided to check it out. I think this one might be broken as I don't think I opened it as intended.
This was find number 2 for the day.

Finally our girls weekend has arrived Kapelula, Meme28, Geotrekka and I C Nothing are heading south with four full days of caching to celebrate some birthdays and geo milestones. We have been puzzling like crazy in preparation so our aim is to find those caches and everything else that takes our fancy. Maybe even a challenge or two. Signed log as Kameingt.
Heading south with Kapelula ICNothing and geotrakka (KAMEINGT) on our girls weekend.

Tftc this was a tricky hiding spot but nice to find a larger cache with things in. Replaced as was.
Moved to Busso. Awaiting school hols to catch up with the family. Of course in the meantime we had to tackle a few caches or 3.

Found it. Nice easy spot for first time geocatchers. The first of many finds. Good work cache creator
Day 5 of our visit to WA for the WAGB18 event in Dunsborough. Today involves travelling to Manjimup and back to Busselton via Capel. Amazed with many different wildflowers we saw today! Many thanks to the COs who have placed and maintained their caches along the highways and byways that we will be travelling in the next week or so.
