Not as yet haven't had time to do much lately. Hope to get there early next week.
We abvioulsy made this one harder than it needed to be. Cam early in the morning to find the gates closed and as we couldn't find the necessary info assumed it must have been inside the gates. On the return journey (gates open) we stopped in to see if we could locate the WP1 info but nothing was found. Not sure what we did wrong here, but sadly this became one of our few DNFs.
GeoDirk is skiing with the scouts. HanorahTLG has a Harry Potter weekend with her aunt. Happy father's day everybody! Out caching with Ziggyau
Oh man, this one was tricky. For one, the first time we came here the centre was closed. We managed to find one year (it's everywhere) but not a second year. So we come here on the way back and... we don't find a second year again anywhere. Utterly confused. Barely able to hold back the tears. Maybe another time....

Finally a day to finish off the Windsor Rd trail, started over a year ago now. We had a smallish section to do so decided to walk from Rouse House in both directions. A nice quick find, thanks Morley for this series.
After parking we found the coords but headed off to Turnpike and School first then walked back to find this cache. A nice easy multi to add some fun in the series. Easy find, nice to be able to duck into the bushes a bit away from the cars. Cache in good order.

#3046 (2 of 5 today) (Streak day 374)
I had hoped to drive the Geowife and friends up to Newcastle and then cached while they did whatever they were going to do. But that plan fell through.
So instead I decided to head to Rouse Hill to grab some of the Winsdor Road Powertrail caches I didn't attempt during my long march on 29 February.
Went for five - found five.
Can't say fairer than that.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
After visiting the info centre, and before grabbing *Rouse Hill House & Farm Visitor Centre*, I'd nabbed the info for this one and made my calculations. Looks logical.
So made my way there and really only spotted two types of hide right where the iPhone was pointing.
Checked the first - CIH! Nice and easy.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Now for the other three nearby...

Stopped here for a quick brew before heading off again. Met a local author Caroline Terry-Rouse one of the descendants of the place who was having a book launch. Nice lady and great history about the place. Awesome hide. Cache very easy to locate. SL TFTH TFTC. Didn't swap anything out. Replaced cache as found - well hidden for the next cacher. Thanks Morley196
About 1.5 weeks ago I was looking at the geocaching map of Sydney in search of a nice trail.
I noticed this trail and wanted to know more about it.
After a quick investigation I found out that it was possible to do the trail while walking.
The problem could be how to get there. Luckily the Opal travel app was of great help.
The best option was to start at the end of the trail near Castlebrook Memorial park, a 50 minute bus ride from Sydney. But only if I would not travel on Sunday as the way back from Windsor would take me more then 2.5 hours due to railway work.
So I decided to travel on Anzac Day.
The problem would be the bonus, because I planned to start at the last cache of the trail.
It turned out that the bonus puzzle coul be solved by looking at the cache descriptions of the caches along the trail. With the help of the offline viewing possibility of GSAk it was not difficult to solve the puzzle.
on Anzac Day I left my Appartment around 8:20 to catch the bus.
After arriving at the memorial park and a short walk I found my first cache around 09:30h and the last one around 15:30h. Some caches I cold not find because they were gone or were to well hidden.
2 caches I could not look for because people in the neighborhood were watching me.
1 cash I did not attempt due to a parked police car close to the cach location with the officer in the car.
The search of the first cach of this serie I had to abort because I had to catch the train back to be back around 6pm.
At the end of the day I had walked more than 20 km's and had found 52 caches.
Most caches could be found quite easily but some took more time.
Some caches took more time to log than usual due to issues with my pen.
Thanks for this trail,

[Blue]# 13030[/Blue] Found on the way back from our 2015 Winter escape to Qld.
Another perfect spring day for a bike ride along the Windsor trail.
Apologies for the standard log, which does not detract from the good hides.
A great trail and I will have to return to do the ones I didn't make it to today.
Cheers from down south in Wagga Wagga.
Thanks for the cache and the series Morley196,

This Windsor History Series is my first medium-sized power trail.
Daunted by 14km, Daunted by 65 caches in a day, Daunted by time restraints.
Couldn't take a bike, so we settled for scooters.
All previous results vary - 5, 6, 7, 10 hour trips.
Just psyching myself out.
Parked at Rouse Hill Town Centre and took the bus to Windsor (No rush for the 'last bus back')
Started out Subway 8:20am - (1 hour lunch break) - Finished the Final 2:30.
6 HOURS WITH A 1 HOUR BREAK
Thanks for the series Morley196 - Heaps of work put into this trail, and it's great for number-cachers like me.
____________________________________ (END OF COPIED SECTION)_______________________________________
1:03-1:30 5 HOUR MARK!!! Second Rest Stop.
Unfortunately Dripping Ponchos don't satisfy dress code for The Brewery.
But we had enough time to use the bathrooms and hold our hands under the WARM Hand Driers.
QM overheard some patrons leaving: "Oh and did you see those 2 wet boys in ponchos. How disgusting!"

With my 30th birthday approaching in less than two weeks and having just passed 800 finds the competitive side of my brain decided it would be a great challenge to attempt to get to 1000 finds on my birthday. This would also mean that I would attain 1000 finds in 19 months of geocaching. I sat on the idea for a couple of days, I wasn't sure whether it was achievable and whether or not I would have the time to travel to areas which had decent trails. Last night my competitive side got the better of me and I decided that the challenge was on!!
I'd been eyeing off the Windsor to Rouse Hill Power Trail since I first started caching but had never made the time to travel down from the Central Coast to attempt it. I went under the house to find the ancient Malvern Star bike my old man used to have when he was at uni roughly 40 years ago. I did some work cleaning it up in the dark and cold of night and greased the chain so it would be ready for the trip.
I left the Coast at 7:30am this morning and started driving down to Windsor. I grabbed a few caches along the way including one close to home I hadn't found yet and others around Dural. I pulled up at Windsor and was soon on my way.
I was unable to attempt the first cache at the time as there was a function on and tradies working right next to the cache! This would turn into a theme for the day as apparently it was the day council had decided to mow all the nature strips! Thankfully I was able to make most finds with good timing and only had to come back afterwards for a couple. It definitely was a different experience caching in such an open area with soo many muggles about. I found a cache 15m away from a Muslim man who was praying in the direction of Mecca and the cache itself!! I had truck drivers giving me weird looks because I was stopping at electrical poles and other bike riders wondering why I kept on stopping. I also had about 4 people beep me when I was searching, I'm guessing they were geocachers and knew exactly what I was up to!
I managed to go from start to finish of the power trail in 3 hours and 45 minutes with 2 DNF's (one which hasn't been found for a long time and another which I'm sure is gone due to the recent lawn mowing). I had one more DNF which I couldn't search for properly as there were people right on GZ both times I went past.
I managed to sign most logs using WTF instead of my whole name. Some logs weren't signed because they were wet and about 4 others because they were covered in ants! Thanks to everybody who has helped maintain all the caches I've found today!!
TFTC Cheers

19/4/15. 9:48 AM. Cache #2443. Streak day #301. 19th of 19 caches today. Time for my third leg of the Windsor Road Power Trail, three weeks after I had finished at about the halfway mark. I parked at the Bunnings on Annangrove Road, and rode the 4kms without stopping to "A Flood Plain" (WRPT-37) in Riverstone, which was the next in the series after my last ride.
I then found 14 more from the series, finishing today at "Rouse House" (WRPT-53) with about another 10 to find next time.
I also found a couple of extra caches not from this series along the way ("Recycled Juicy Fruit" and "A little aside").
And there were two disabled caches from this series along this leg that I had to skip completely: "The Box Hill Inn" (WRPT-40) & "Box Hill Estate" (WRPT-47); I'll have to find these some other time.
End of copy/paste----------------------
So here I was at this multi. It was nice and short, so worth fitting in. Easy to find the dates and do the maths to find the new GZ, which didn't take long to find. I considered heading along the road for a few more but since the car was just across the road under Bunnings and it was getting on to time to head home I left today's cache ride at this one.
Next time I continue this series, I have 9 caches between "Vinegar Hill" and "Windsor Road History Series Final" left to find. And then there are 5 caches that I haven't been able to find between Windsor and here, which I'll need to come back to. TFTC } : )

Apologies for the generic logs-I have left a more descriptive one on the first and last caches in the series (unless there was something extra to add on a cache!)

Working at Penrith during the week I aimed to complete this Power Trail today on foot. Had a couple of DNFs but all in all had a great - hot !! - days caching along the trail until I got to the final mystery - then caught a taxi back to my car ! This was another nice quick find - then off to the next one...
Thanks again Morley196 ! Love the Multis thrown in !

All Strung Out was on a mission to collect 9 varied caches, and the 7 August Souvenirs in the closing hours ... the 'mushroom tagged along to a part of the world not visited for many a decade (and now utterly foreign to the remembered vast rural acreage).
On to the third and arm in arm with the cutest bear one could wish for, the intrepid ASO leader plotted the course and the way to the cache, for a quick find ... and a friendly chat with MrMalkovich proudly, and rightly so, displaying his CITO collection of scavenged P plates. Little effort for the fungus, and a log signed. TFTC Morley196.

AFter attending the nearby CITO event today, and a discussion with the CO, over which caches to find in order to fulfill a 9 cache type challenge. This one was chosen as the Multi, we drove into the car park with whitemushroom, parked the cars, then things went weird .............Mrs ASO decided to don a bear head. Unfortunately there were witnesses including 'MrMalkovich' (sorry mate she doesn't normally do this) along with a couple of hundred passing motorists. All good found the cache easily with Mrs ASO providing an 'odd' distraction.

I set off this morning to bike my way along the Windsor to Rouse Hill Power trail (in reverse), picking up a few stray caches along the way.
I really appreciate the effort that's gone into the history along the trail. Progress was fairly slow as I took the time to read the history at each site.
Sorry for the cut and paste. I'll add notes for any that weren't straightforward finds.
The only problem with doing the route in reverse is that the multi's have you backtracking.

can CO please check this location. There is evidence of recent branch pruning. Was unable to find cache and suspect it may have been on one of the pruned branches given what the find clue is.

Attempted the fourth and final section of the WRPT by bike on a cool, damp, overcast Sunday afternoon to find the remaining geocaches in this extensive series. SL TFTC!
Cache #12 of #13
Came past being in the area intending on doing another section of the WRPT. After parking my geomobile at the Rouse Hill Shopping Village i set my sights on the back end of the WRPT as this is where i ended up after the Event here on the 6th. Making this the start of my days caches on the Trail and a few extras along the way.
After success at #59, #57, #56, #55, #50, #51, #52 and a DNF at #58 i kept going with the goal of knocking off at least to WRPT caches tonight meaning i was to finish at cache#50.
I came here which was next on my list and made a easy find. I must say i am enjoying this trail. The fact that they are pretty simple but the added challange of traffic and the length is really enjoyable. Thanks guys for planting it and keeping it running.

Brought up the deadly treadlies to have a crack at the Windsor to Rouse Hill Power Trail with Bettyboo3747. After a few days of mediocre weather, today was lovely.
We started at 8am and finished by lunchtime, hitting the restaurants of Rouse Hill for much needed refreshments, and then we rode back.(can't remember all those hills on the way there!)
Thanks for all the informative history, and well maintained caches
We could look through the cyclone wire fence but that was as close as we could get during the week.
Collected our numbers and nicked around the corner for a quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 4693. Rombc and I left Wentworth Falls at 6.30am this morning to arrive in Windsor by 7.30am. After unloading the bikes and getting organised we started with the Prelude and were on the trail by 8.00am. We finished 4 1/2 hours later and headed for some well earned food and drink. We were glad we started early as it got mighty hot very quickly. Was so hoping for a really pretty scenic ride and hoped to see a lot of historic buildings along the way. I was a bit disappointed that it was right next to such a busy and noisy road.
The end result for the trail was 61 and a DNF at the dreaded # 46 which we visited on the way there and again on the return journey.
What a shame we could not see the house or get inside the high fences today. Another day perhaps..... We gathered the necessary information and rode off to GZ to search. Found the cache but the log sheet does need replacing. It is very tatty and full.
Thanks Morley196

Down from Brisbane for a run along the Windsor Road Power Trail. Managed to track this one down along the way, although I did move and look at the cache hide the very first thing but somehow overlooked it. Took me a while to return to the right place to find it. Tftc
Found a spot to park, and found this cache. Shame the house wasn't open at the time.
A multi with no ambiguity is as good as a multi gets and this one is at an interesting location which was even better. Thanks for the cache Morley196.
Quick stop to figure the final coords and walked over for the quick find. TFTC!!

Last day of The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition. Went out with a bang by doing the Windsor Road Power Trail. Had a lot of fun, rode a lot of kilometres on the bike and found a lot of caches. Thanks for the power trail

Rode the power trail today with my Mum, finding all of the caches as we went along. Thank you.
I spent too much time trying to find the traditional nearby, and eventually gave up & gathered the information for this multi instead.

Daddy and Grandpa did the puzzle, I spotted the cache.

Another fun little puzzle on the way down the Power Trail.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thank you for this series. It was a wonderful geoday. We found all the caches. Mostly it was an easy find. It was our firt powertrail and we enjoyed it.
I spent a very pleasant few hours today with the ClazzA team walking in the beautiful weather through the picturesque Rouse Hill Regional Park and surrounding area. We also picked up a few of the many caches in the area.
We got to WP1 via the track from the dam to the cycleway and were soon there after a leisurely walk alongside the busy Windsor Road. At WP1 we made our calculations and, after finding another cache nearby, made our way to GZ for a quick find.

Found on a great day's caching on the Windsor Road Powertrail with Katsumar. We had a stunning day and a great bike ride. We clocked up 30 k's over the day and never a grumble from Katsumar on his BMX with no gears. This also helped in the Great Scouts Geocaching Competition!
Well, I would like to say it's Grouse at Rouse House, but the one thing we wanted was food and they didn't really have much. And it was too late to go into the place, but a loo they had and shortly afterwards we found the cache and got back on our way. Resisted the option to go to the cafe in Bunnings. We were not that desperate. There's always the Knackery back up the road which would probably be better...
Thanks, Morley196 for giving us a great day.

We had a lovely afternoon visiting the Rouse House Estate. Free entry all of August. Decided this was going to be today's cache. Worked out the co-ordinates then walked along and found the cache. Hint was great but had me looking in other places too. Found with Two Baker Boys on Day 11 of the 31 days of geocaching challenge. Thanks Morley
Geocache #429. Found on Saturday, 13th July 2013 at 4:58 PM.
My 328th find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. Morry9 and I decided to tackle the epic Windsor Road Power Trail for Geocaching's 'Get Outdoors Day'. It was a perfect sunny winter's day in Sydney and ideal caching conditions. As we were tackling this 15km trek by foot, we parked one car near the end at Rouse Hill and did a car shuffle to reach the start of the trail at Windsor to save us doubling back. We managed to find numbers 01 through to 55 (out of 63 in total) and some other non-WRPT caches along the way before it turned dark, which we thought was a fairly decent effort, but will have to return another time to finish it off. A nice and simple multi-cache, which was a quick find for us once we had the actual co-ordinates worked out. TFTC, as well as the entire series Morley196.

Having done a couple of cache series in Canberra from Sol de lune a few weeks ago with my kids I was keen to do some more. Found this one and decided to take the bike and have a go. Kids were with their Mother so it was just me today and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole ride. I love the fact that despite the open nature of many of the hides nobody pays any attention to you. Also loved the History lesson from the cache pages. Rode the whole way - taking about 4 hours then, rather than taking a train back to the car, which was the plan rode all the way back as well. I ended up finding all in the series which surprised me. Some took a little time but I persisted. Apart from one or two that had wet logs the only problem was with number 50. Found the pipe but no cache container inside so was unable to sign the log.
Thanks Morley196 for this great power trail .... loved it!

Came past today just before the event to finish off this one. Parked and walked towards GZ. Took me ages and the hint was off putting for me. Then spied the cache. DOH! That's what it means! SL and replaced. TFTC.

This was the perfect winter day to do the second half of this power trail with AM. Thanks for the series! We really enjoyed it.
Out today with CJ to complete this awesome power trail, after starting it in January. It’s only taken us 6 months to get back here. Finally we get a chance today to complete the series.
Most of the caches along this walk have been easy finds for both of us. Apologies for copying and pasting most of the logs today, but individually it is a lot of writing and after our first go in January it took us a while to get our logs up to date.
Thanks Morley196 for this awesome series. CJ and I enjoyed meeting you at the Lane cove CITO event. SL TFTC

I did a few of these 5 months ago and returned today to claim a few more on foot as before. This was the first of the day. TftC
11/60 in the WRPT! Great hide with fun multi just to keep things interesting. TFTC
Windsor trip June 2013 with Mtrax, Tankengine and Sol de Lune. This trail was the reason our invasion headed up to Windsor. The four of us headed out on our bikes after a great breakfast and started to attack the caches along the trail. Plenty of variety and the on going challenge to remember to collect the numbers for the final caches. It was interesting to have a few multis in along the way to make us think. The track itself is amazing, new solid concrete without cracks ! Thanks.

Heading up to the Windosr invasion with Tankengine, Albida and Sol De lune from Canberra, signed logs with "Mast" or a sticker to save space.
Came up here with bikes and with some luck the weather held out for all the ride so started the ride around 8:45 and got to the end with some side trips around 12:00 had some lunch at Rouse Hill shopping centre before riding back into Windsor at 2pm.

Found on our Windsor Invasion weekend with Mtrax, Albida33 and Sol de lune! We spied the Windsor-Rouse Hill power trail, and decided that after the HCRT series, we would give this one a go! Not as long as the HCRT trail, but - being all paved, the path was a tad nicer to ride on (lovely actually)! However, the constant traffic noise did detract from the series a tad. But, all in all, a great bike ride, well worth it - highly recommended!
We had stickers for many of the finds, but where the log was too small, we signed it as "MAST" (Mtrax, Albida33, Soldelune, Tankengine). All in all, had a great weekend, well up until the Sunday, when the rain set in! Thanks THPT!

In Windsor with Mtrax, Albida and Tankengine for then to ride the nearby trail and so I could grab a few I missed last time I was here. Some logs were signed as MAST, to save log space.
One I missed on my visit a couple of weeks ago, but an easy grab today. Sorry you missed the event.
Thanks for another one....

An excellent day out caching with Mr Roo. Thanks for the caches in this series, and to Mr Roo for some top company.
Found with Captain Tomato today, we drove up from Canberra for the day with the bikes on the back of the car. We started the powertrail at 10.07am and finished at 2pm. We had a ball
Up from Canberra for a weekend of R&R and a spot of caching, Packed the bike for the WRPT and a few others along the way. Second half of FFLL team was ground support and in the car collecting a few around the area while FFLL no 1 did the cycle power. TFTC

Arrived at the Visitor Centre at the same time as a busload of muggles. While checking the sign, we were approached by one of the staff who wondered if we were lost.
Our first calculations pointed to a location inside the fenced area, so we left for some other of the WRPT caches. Before returning home, we checked our calculations and found the obvious error. We then stopped and found the cache easily, even though the coordinates were a few metres off.

Found whilst riding the power trail today with The Rats. A fantastic way to cache: ride a little, find a cache, ride a little more, repeat. A most enjoyable experience that I thank you for.
Please excuse the duplicate logs, however as others have stated, most caches blend together and this is the easiest way.
Thank you for the most enjoyable series, I appreciate the effort that you have gone to to place it.
Cheers!
