Out for a days caching with the Geobro and it’s a lovely day. First for the day filled a gap in the D/T matrix .
News break - it wasn’t a find as an extra maze was present but had dropped off so not retrieveable

As noted by others, log is a bit wet. Lovely hide and nice camo. Our favourite of the series so far. TFTC
Making my way up the Western Fwy towards Beaufort for the long weekend and as I had left earlier enough I had time to call in to find a few caches and to hopefully pick up a few smileys along the way.
I didn’t get all that far till I spotted a few that I had missed on previous visits up this way.
Doing a very big detour as I’m now heading in the opposite direction but a cache is a cache so off I go.
I have driven past this entrance that many times and I have even done the first one in the series but I have never managed to find the time to turn in but today was the day even if I only did a few of them.
A very clever and sneaky cache was eventually spotted and I soon added my name to the log.
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 TFTC.

Was just about to give up and saw it!
Well disguised but it's definitely there

Great afternoon caching with Bogonghazy and Geo-dog Bree. Sunny afternoon around BH's home town.
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for placing the geocache

Having been home for a few days I decided to head out on a short mid week adventure. I headed out west to explore some caches in an area I have not been before.
A quick find although the cache had some water in it. Was still able to sign the log.
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for the cache.

Continuing the trail whilst still elated by the covid safe summer news and 37 doughnut days!
It was harder to open my car door in the wind than to spot this cache.. the outer lid was found floating nearby and the cache filled with water. The water has been emptied and lids put back on.. the log is wet and lid broken but should be okay for a bit.
Nicely made design!
Thanks for the cache

This geocache is currently disabled for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis in compliance with current restrictions on non-essential travel.
For the welfare of all I feel there is no choice in the matter as the virus is transmitted by surface contact and geocaching by nature, is a game that involves touching.

The smell of the dead kangaroo was not a hint.. Good hide. Quick easy find.

While out enjoying a day of fun we passed through this area and decided to see if we could add some smiles, the road was busy but we did manage breaks in the traffic to stop and search, TFTC and the fun
Found by Team Ladava in the run up to our 2,000th. find. (It’s only been 13 years.)
A few hours in Eynesbury was the selected location for the day.

Out to find a few caches for my last caching day of the year. I chose this area as I have found a few here previously and had still plenty more to target. I also decided to try and make it to the intervening days event in Melton later in the day. It was a hot day with lots of dust and flies but a satisfying total of 49 caches in all to clock over my 2000th find for the calendar year. Stopped by this one to take a look. Took me a while but I got there in the end and glad to get out of sight of the passing traffic. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series 6Hinemoa2.
Caching in the area we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
We enjoyed this series as some finds took longer than others, it certainly on our toes. Cache and contents were in good condition.

Hmm, a suss looking out of place item lol. Found the cache. Replaced the baggy (with thicker baggy) as its all super wet and ripped.
The cache was exposed. Flamingo walked straight onto it. Good hiding spot though! Log signed and cached hidden. TFTC
Oh you're a tricky one 6Hinemoa2! I was looking around getting more and more cold and miserable, regretting my life decisions and looking wistfully at the heated car when I decided to retreat and get warm. I complained about my lack of success, geopartner looked out the window, said "have you tried X", "No", so out he popped and had the cache in hand in seconds... didn't even get cold. Thanks for making me look silly. TFTC
What a nice series to do; really creative caches, and generally fairly straight forward hides, except a few where time didn't allow a more thorough searching of GZ.
GoodLook came over for the weekend so we went on an adventure together which included: attending an event where I caught up with buds I've not seen for a while; enjoying a day of caching (part of my searching for clues, gems, and other caches to unlock that vault); briefly stopping into a CITO and planting a tree; and then unfortunately I needed to go off to hospital. There was certainly a lot of laughter and silly chatter over the weekend.
Thanks for your contribution to the game, we enjoyed finding your cache.

A nice series, but wow it was a busy road!
Woz needed some caches to get his souvenirs for the current GC.com promo (Mystery at the Museum), so we thought we would check out this trail and others in this area.
Not sure what happened to us, but we had a fair few DNFs - neither of us really had our caching mojo on, so maybe we will find it easier to find them next time we are in the area.
A few days in Victoria to lift the mood and catch up with special friends....and what a great break it was. Let's just say there was a little bit of beta testing going on (wherigo cartridges), future plans hatched, yummy meals consumed, laughter shared, stories told and some chilled time woven in also. Events, a tree planting CITO, locating a few caches and lots of driving were all part of the fun.

Clever hide. After GPS not being nice to me. I found it in the end haha. Thank you
I was making my way down to Lara in a round about sort of way finding a cache or two along the way. TFTC
Some free style caching this morning as I was in the city early and had 4 hours to burn so I headed out to a new area for me. Another quick find here. Thanks to 6Hinemoa2 for the placement and fun.
Sean.75, kenare and I started the day with a breakfast event then headed south for some caching. We had a vague hit list that we wanted to find and we found them all plus a few extras. I had a great time finding lots of different sorts of caches. Sorry for generic logs but I'm tired and I'd rather keep up my logs current incase I forget some (which I have done lol). TFTC
Over this way with kenare and kenbryl for a day out, and of course some caching along the way. Wait! That doesn't belong there. Cigc. Tftc
We started the day with a breakfast event then headed down this way for a day of laughs and caches. We stopped for lunch then slowly caches our way along this road enjoying the variety of hides. Tftc and the series
Another chuffing immediate find after the last DNF Clever one. FP for Differentness.
Wind was cold, puppy was getting impatient in the car, decided too hard.. move onto the next one, maybe another day with an extra pair of eyes
We took a detour to the Avalon Airshow to fill in a calendar space and work towards our next milestone. We had some time to kill before the fireworks tonight. It was very hot but we enjoyed the air con as we got in and out of the car.
Thanks for this clever hide.
Thanks for this clever hide.
As we walked towards GZ we saw something very unusual in this environment. Close inspection led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for the cache.
Thanks to the long weekend back home, I was able to pop over the ditch for the mega and a ‘few’ caches along the way! I was really after the numbers on this trip, planning to achieve 50+ each of the three days for a challenge – something that is getting much more difficult back home! The weather was great and I had a ball thanks to all the CO’s placing great caches!
Time to collect a few in town and then head out for some more series. Nice area to explore! TFTC!!

My fifth day of a 9 day caching road trip holiday.
Well I've always heard there's 4 seasons in one day down in Melbourne. Today started with that 4th season that is least desired while caching... RAIN!
I was set to do some hiking cache trails, packed my bag with plenty of water and only realised it was raining when I got to the hotel carpark. I returned to my room to grab a rain jacket and stomped back to my car knowing that it'll be an uncomfortable day. My shoes were soaked by the 6th cache, and I was wetter in the inside of my raincoat from sweat than what the rain could have done!
Then the rain stopped after a couple of hours, but my feet stayed wet until 6pm when I took my shoes and socks off for the drive back to my hotel. Lucky that I like geocaching enough to ignore those issues!
In the end I managed to find 65 today.
Thanks for the caches.

Bag for log book was torn so I replaced it for you. Logbook was damp but I was still able to sign it.

The "I have a new device and I'm going to use it" Adventure, part 9. I have a half-day off, and there's a list of caches my wife has done that I have not. Seems like basic logic to me...
Thanks heaps, 6Hinemoa2!
So sad. No actual kangaroos today, not even footballers.

We were tricked by the placement of this cache but shouldn’t have been. It took several minutes searching before I finally found it and was able to sign the log. Now we’re out of the Eynesbury Estate area it’s more regular farming with sheep, cattle and some ploughed paddocks.
TFTC. Quick find. Bag was wet but log is dry. Thankyou for this quick series.
Off I go to Melbourne! Down from Canberra for a caching trip around the Mega!
On the geo itinerary for today the targets were the "Three..." series, the Eynesbury series, the Legends series and whatever randoms which were along the way.
Find, sign, stash and dash for me here!
Thanks for the hide 6Hinemoa2

Headed out for a hunt day with crank1 & Everlasting in Bacchus Marsh and Eynesbury area. I was hoping to celebrate my 1000 finds today. The weather has been good but survived with light showers in the morning. Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for bringing us here.
Accompanied with pwala and crank1 for the day. Enjoyed wander this area - the weather too cold for me lol. It was good fun day. [^][^][^]
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for organising the cache and hunt.

Out caching with a friend and daughter, found logged and returned, re placed container. TFTC
Found by Aussie Train Driver 01/06/2017, find number 1046.
I have had this series on the radar for a long time and a day off work today provided the perfect opportunity for a bit of caching.
A quick find between passing cars. Love the camo, I've been thinking of making a similar type of hide for some time. TFTC!

was looking on the Kangaroo, but saw a heap of screws on ground, and while picking them up, spotted something that belongs in a bathroom, thanks for the hide, 6Hinemoa2, the dampness is returning to the log, which was reported in earlier logs you may need a rethink on container here

Until now, this series and the other caches along the road to Eynesbury have been opportunity targets for me. Today I needed a fix and do some catch up on building numbers, so I headed up to see how many I could clean up in a couple of hours. This was the sixth of nine in the series and a quick find today. I was going to round off with Western Sprawl (GCHD3H) as #10 on the way home, but you'll need to read that log to find out why it didn't happen.
The cache is in good condition.
SL. TFTC 6Hinemoa2.

While staying in Keilor with a friend for a couple of days we decided to get out of the high traffic areas to go caching. We noticed there was a nice selection of caches out this way and returned here to do more after our time here yesterday. Lots of creative hides and thanks to 6Hinemoa2 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
We decided to head to Eynesbury to complete this series for no more reason than it was there, but it turned out to be a fun and interesting outing. We took the geodog who loved the walking part getting to chase a few rabbits and we were able to find all but one of the caches. Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for the series and making us aware of the history here.
A nice quick find. Interesting how the whole run down from #1 has irrigation to make the grass green....

A solo day spent tracking down caches on the Legends, TSS V2, Eynesbury Series and the odd ones that came up on the map.
The last stretch of the day. I knew i was not going to finish this trail but I was going to give a go.
Made all the finds on the side of the road despite the peak hour traffic.
Wow Saturdays arvos are buisy down here.

17:48, 16 Nov 16, Find # 104, Out with Myst42 for the arvo in the eynesbury area and we had this one on our list to find.. we pulled over and started looking and not long and Myst said Found it!.. she opened the container and the log sheet was quite damp and made it hard to seperate pages, we found a page that was relativly dry and signed this and then replaced the log book back into the container as best we could to help it dry out. we then replaced the container in its hiding spot and then proceeded back to the car.. TFTC.
Looking to move closer to a milestone I'd decided to visit Eynesbury in the hopes of increasing my finds to 999 as I had a particular Melbourne cache in mind for my 1,000.
Although some of the hints were cryptic almost all the caches had spot on co-ords making a find a fairly easy process.
Thanks for creating this interesting and informative series.
I'll remember this for the small, bleached white, animal bones around GZ (no they are not some cunning camo but rather simply the remains of a creature which has passed) and the barbed wire as I attempted to look behind a bush. Ouchy! I now know that I had a tetanus booster in 2009 after chasing down the clinic I went too for it...

Out for the day to conquer Eynesbury, with DreamyDragon, Flaggy's, Redink & Tikitere. Haha. The others walked past this one and I stopped and pulled it out!!! Tftc.
