Logs
This cache:Hint object still here so many years after placing, tftc!Today:Great hike from Springwood to Blaxland through the lower Blue Mountains. Typical nature of the area: full of life (really loud crickets) and many beautiful rock formations! I loved the climb up to Lost World and the views there!
Came up for the Postcard day event and slipped out with JJCC in order to grab these two nearby caches. Followed the path down to GZ and made a quick find. After signing the log replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in excellent condition. Thanks for the cache WaywardWoman. The following TBs came through for the mileage: Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football
Came back for another day of Faulconbridge finds before it gets too wet. Easy find, my 15th today, TFTC

Descending the mountain from Katoomba provided multiple places to stop, so many interesting locations to explore but here had a multi, virtual, 3 traditionals and a letterbox to help complete the months challenge souvenir and so took the prize for a 20 min walk involving history , nature , and the wonderul SES
A lovely cache WaywardWoman, thank you for placing and for highlighting this beautiful patch of nature. All is in good order here apart from not much water running at the moment but this no doubt would not always be the case! SL and replaced as found.

Christmas eve – already prepared for Christmas day – too hot for yard work & couldn’t be bothered with computer work – so it was caching time – nice & worm – 6th cache completed along the walking track here – nice & hot & nobody here – found this cache nicely - many thanks TFTC / TFTH / SL
Me and my friend were looking for geocaches near us and we went to the nearest on. After 20 minutes we finaly found the geocache we were so exited and happy we found it its so cool
TFTC, not sure what this track is for but thanks for showing to us anyway.
A cracker of a spot on this nice little loop. I continued on after parking at the scout hall. I’ve forgotten my Fitbit today so I wonder do the steps count? Following the path through I ended up at a nice park with public toilets. Heading over now to look at evans survey. Thanks for placing this cache, plenty of water in the creek but luckily not too much for me to cross. TFTC
Revisited this one after a few years. Plenty of water flowing under the bridge after the rain.
Found on a quick cache hunt before a lovely picnic in the LGA. Fast find - hint useful, finding place could easily be narrowed down and gps pretty accurate. Cache in good condition. Nice walking loop. TFTC.
Looks like the bush regen team are doing a fantastic job here. Looks great. Tftc
Found it, easily as not well hidden, has been re hidden in the same spot.Met another fellow geo cacher on our ways today. DJ
Thanks for the cache Jenny. Log is a little bit damp however gently signed and placed back into position.

While coming home from my MILs place, I had a little time to grab some needed caches along the Hwy. Parked and walked to GZ After a little search, I made the find. SL and replaced. TFTC.
Caching in and around Springwood this morning. Main goal was the adventure lab, but ended up picking up quite a few other types as well. Nice little walk in the reserve!

Found as part of my attempt at "Fill the Calendar" Challenge - still got 98 to go.
The track today is still looking very dry despite the recent rains.

It is magpie season so anywhere up here you may find swiping birds- you just need to take care.
Give this place a wide birth for a while. Incredibly hostile Grey Butcherbird on the offensive.
Quiet Sunday afternoon, so took kids to Jackson Park for a play... and conveniently there were nearby caches! A nice loop walk good for young kids followed and geomum spotted the likely cache covering and was spot on. TFTC WaywardWoman
I'm back!
Today I trained it up to Faulconbridge again for some more caches.
Firstly I did part of the Sassafras Gully Walk where there was a Superb Lyrebird serenading me with a great range of bird calls. Next stop was Jackson Park Reserve. This time with the updated co-ordinates I followed the GPS straight to GZ and quickly had CIH. This wasn't a spot I had considered last time I was here.
After signing the log and replacing the cache I did a bit more walking and found a small bridge where I sat and ate my morning tea. There were several birds around, White-browed Scrubwren, Eastern Yellow Robin, Yellow-faced and Scarlet Honeyeaters.
On the next leg of my walk I even saw a snake!

No luck here today.
I spent about 30 minutes giving all the likely spots a good going over.
Thinking back now I'm back home in Sydney there was one other possible location but it was about 20m from the GZ my GPS liked.
