The river is up, and may be for some weeks. Many roads are impassable even with a 4WD.
Large maintenance run planned for when the river goes down. Some caches may have floated downstream, others innundated and some should be high and dry, just T5 at the moment.
We do not recommend any flooded caches be accessed by boat at this stage, or to attempt by 4WD. It would be good if the roads had a chance to dry out before getting chewed up with high clearance vehicles.

Day one of my big road trip from Adelaide to Wangaratta. I wasn’t able to attend the mega event in January so decided to make it a geocaching Easter long weekend.
Today was a long drive so I broke up the monotony by planning a few caches along the way in some missing LGAs. Of course I am stopping for the odd solved mystery cache that I pass by.
A long day but it was really enjoyable travelling through towns I have heard of but never visited.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow where there will be less driving and more caching.
I was driving through Echuca but how could I not cross the border and grab a quick NSW cache. Quick find after a short walk.
This cache was found without problems. All good here.
Thanks for the cache gregandjudi and ceebees.

There we go, another nice easy one. I just spent some time sitting and staring at maidens punt so its nice to get a smiley here.
Stayed in moama for the weekend and had a great time exploring and finding caches. TFTC
Up in Moama for a few days, our first outing in the van since lockdown No. ?
Well I made hard work of this one with dying batteries in the GPS and thinking the nearby road was a private driveway but I stumbled across it in the end.
Our thanks to gregandjudi and ceebees for the cache.
Cheers

A huntsman was guarding this cache, also our first cache in NSW!! woohoo!! Tftc
Took a while, and the cache looks different to a previous photo, but happily finally found it.
Yay, we were excited to be going into NSW as the border bubble has opened up. We wanted to find all the caches in Moama today. This was a quick find. TFTC
Found it after the gps worryingly took us closer to the private property fence line!
Only wearing sandals so we weren’t game to do too much searching in the high grass.
Very sweet setting. No pen or swaps as per description so was unable to sign log
A nice quick find and sign for me this afternoon, adding another happy smiley to my map and moving towards those memory lane souvenirs! TFTC
Now the restrictions are eased, putting caches back on line.
Enjoy, and remember to sanitise regularly.

Out and about exploring the local surrounding, and an opportunity to escape whilst the wife and kids went swimming. I had to babysit the dog! So off we went on our journey. A few drivebys and some short walks. Love exploring these places, and only nearly got the car bogged once! Thanks for the fun, this is always such a great way to see a town. Cheers.
Found with McAdies and jelly_bean14.
This was a nice spot and a good hide.
Thanks for placing it for us to find.

Found 1115hrs. Nice and easy this one. I like them like that. Although had to stop the car in the middle of the dirt track to remove the hitch hiker bullants from the last cache that crawled up the inside of my jeans. Ouch. No bite thank goodness.
While away with MazzyMay for a few days break we went looking for some caches. This one is in an area with some snakes so the local lady tell us. TFTC
Holidaying with Dippa46 for the week in Echuca we took a stroll up to this cache as were staying nearby. Found quickly however after chatting with a lovely local found that large brown snakes are prolific in the area. We were happy to not come face to face with one of them. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1219. Enjoyed the walk from the end of the bitumen, as the start of the track looked a bit overgrown. The long Paddock Centre that we passed earlier looked fascinating too. Now to the Moama Bakery for lunch. Our thanks to gregandjudi.

Easy find cache needs attention as container is broken and log is damp

A great spot to find a cache at night. The stars were spectacular. We found the easy way out from the cache after going the hard way in. TFTC

With the wedding done and dusted that I was attending, it was now a new day with lots of caches to be found before heading for home.
I had now turned my sights on the caches over the border that I missed when I was here a couple of months ago.
The roads around here are shown on my maps but they certainly disappear quickly and turn into slight tracks but I was still able to drive to GZ where the cache was soon found.
**Thanks to gregandjudi for placing this cache.**

Wow today is much warmer and I was sure to look carefully for any wriggly sticks as I approached this one on foot. We only started caching in June, and I know see how different it will be looking for bush caches during summer.
Thanks for the cache gregandjudi

We found it on our bike ride. Wasn't too hard after we looked around for a bit.
Found while on holiday at 3:50 pm- Cache was out in the open but hid it back where it should of been. TFTC left a helicoptor and a TFTC cap.

After settling in for our stay, I set the alarm early to get up to do this series. The rest of the geo family were fast asleep when I crept out. It was pitch black when I started out, but being dark and a Sunday, I though it would mean the least amount of muggles about. I had just finished the 'T' series and was heading back for some well earned breakfast. I had to grab another, always just one more. A nice quick walk. It took me a few moments to locate this one. Signed and replaced as found.
**Thanks for this trad cache, greg and judi and gregandjudi and ceebees ** [^]
**Cache container and log good**
**Took Nothing, Left Signature**

Found today for about and about day. Hope we get a souvenir as well as a smiley. This is our forth find for the day in the lovely Echuca Moama area. TFTC. LS
