Having a base in Kyneton for a few days, we had a very cold day of caching in an anticlockwise loop - Sidonia, Tooborac, Heathcote, Redesdale and return.
What an interesting old piece of machinery.
Our find here today was a real bonus - thanks to the CO for their quick response to our query.
Thanks to 'Dasies of the Galaxy' for an interesting placement

Visiting Heathcote today and caching as we go. We always enjoy Old Machinery and this was a nice easy find in a great place to sit and relax.

Checked and appears gone or put back in different spot, welcome to try but I will source a new one soon
On our second trip in two weeks had another go but still no luck. Noticed two other no finds so will check in a few weeks time
Couple or three dnf's, will check out. sometimes it gets put back in a different spot.
Spent ages looking for this one...olenty of weird looks from passersby. took a break and did a couple nearby..met a local cacher and asked for help. Back to GZ..sadly no luck. Will check activity next time we are passing through to see of it has been found.
Visiting sunny heathcote to catch up with relos visiting from Queensland. Stoped for this clever cache found my geomum. One of my faves TFTC
Thanks so much for the cache, it broke up our trip to Beyond the Valley music festival very nicely. Great spot
Found by Team Ladava during a loop up to Heathcote and back.
A wonderful old piece of historic mining equipment.
Imagine the noise it would make in operation.
I relocated the hide to fit the hint.
Locations like this are 'the icing on the cake' of Geocaching with the locals hosting us anonymously to their favourite spots.

Cache condition – needs a new log sheet. We crossed out the FTF text and used that area.

hevwalker & I are on our way back to the Adelaide Hills via St. Arnaud's.
Nice place for a stop and the area wasn't too busy, just a guy on a gopher which had squeaky brakes.
The hint was very helpful, thanks for the hide Dasies of the Galaxy

What a sneaky hide, fortunately it was a quick find once I realised one looked a little different than the others....
Found whilst the lovely micaparamedic and I stopped to enjoy a picnic lunch very close to GZ. It was so relaxing in the shade with the cool breeze blowing....the sandwiches and company weren't bad either!
We then continued on and slowly made our way to the beautiful town of Alexandra today so that we could attend the Mega - and as always it was a really enjoyable day! [^]
Thanks so much for the cache Dasies of the Galaxy!

MEGA ROAD TRIP - Alexandra Mega 2017 that is. Day 1: Getting almost there. [8)]
After being picked up by Mrs. Aussie M&M in her salubrious geomobile, our target for today was to get to Heathcote for an overnight stay.
Finally here we checked into our digs and then went to the local pub for some grub. Bloody hell - the locals must be giants as they gave us enough food to feed a small army. But it had been a long day, and we almost finished it, so we just had to go for a walk around the block and work some of it off. Luckily there were some caches to find. [^] Unluckily it started to rain.
The rain eased as we went back towards the car so we decided to get this one as well. The GPSr first took us to a place were we have found caches before, so we quickly looked there. [xx(] [xx(] [xx(]
Then common sense prevailed and we checked the hint and logs and then searched in more appropriate spots. It was dark and I felt out the cache but I imagine it can be seen in daylight! Sneaky little sucker! [:o)]

Best to look for this one in daylight as it would be easily seen. We had the GPS lead us to a possible GZ that was mean and mighty unclean and we didn't need to search there. TFTC.
Very very sneaky! Both myself and Gaby3029 logged, running out of room on the paper though
On a 3 day geocaching weekend with the fiancée & the geo-dog in the caravan, day 1 we made 18 finds & 3 DNF’s, day 2 we made 26 finds & 2 DNF’s. The RSL served up another fantastic feed so on the way home more needed to be claimed. Today we tallied 10, with 0 DNF'S. Total=54. This was an evil hide for sure. Nasty. Took us 5 mins. FP from me. Thanks Dasies of the Galaxy for this tour of the country-side. I like taking the beaten track to explore the world we live in.
Traveling back from Manangatang Races and stopped for a break. So what better way to spend it than a bit of searching TFTC
On the way home from Bendigo with Simba_91 and stopped for breakfast. While eating we thought we'd see if any caches were in the area. As we weren't planning on going geocaching today we didn't have a pen.

OK I used the hint.
Well my two companions for the day had found it ages ago and were waiting in the georig as I fumbled around looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack.
Thanks gen_gen for placing this evil blighter and thanks Cybergran V and locus cache for your patience with me.

I took Thursday off to extend my weekend and head up to Echuca, never visited before.
On the way I scouted out a few caches.
This was the 8th stop
The rain was coming in again bu lucky for me this was a pretty quick find.
Thanks Dasies of the Galaxy

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I usually cache on my own but sometimes I will collect my nephew stinky bob and my brother stinky tom who both enjoy this hobby.
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

I was traveling up to Northern Vic (well it's north from us) and stopped for a few caches along the way. This one was just what I was looking for, something not far off the road and not something that would take too long to find. Once I had a feed at the bakery it was off to find this cache. TFTC
Found with Surefoot24 on our way home from event in Echuca. Easy find, I placed it back a bit better but still quite obvious. TFTC
Hint more useful than my GPS for this cache by about 10 m. We always called these machines battery stamps in the district I grew up and family.
We aren't normally really good with these ones but thanks to the hint it was a success! TFTC.
A nice quick find on the way home from Echuca.

After quite some time going around looking for all different geocaches we have finally found one.
On a little road trip with a friend on a day off from uni. Decided to stop off and do some geocaching while exploring

I am having a week away travelling with my son and we found this cache. tftc.
Moneydork and Mrs Moneydork had very kindly invited me, last November, for a caching trip to Victoria over the Australia Day weekend [:X]
A massive trip with 13 DNFS and 318 finds over 7 days and many kilometers of travel
My knees don't want to bend anymore after a massive ride on the Ballarat Skipton Rail Trail and then about 145 finds the next day while finishing the Dad's Mt. Disappointment Driving Lesson series [xx(] Seems my driving lesson was about me keeping both feet on the ground as I broke my own record by doing the autumn leaf thing 4 times in one day [xx(]
Still a fantastic trip with great sights and lots of cache finds [^]
Today was another travel day from Seymour to Swan Hill so caches were found all along our route [^]
Interesting machinery and made even better by a cache to find

This cache was found pretty quickly, we just had to wait for a few people to move away before we could log it though. tftc
Found while sightseeing in Heathcote. I spied a bakery so we might have to see the sights over there!! What a great looking machine!! Tftc
Found quickly but had to wait for a few muggles to move along. This gave kenare, kenbryl and I time to admire the structure. Cigc. Tftc
Intetresting machinery. Very glad to have the shade to do the retrieve and sign as the day has warmed up considerably. Tftc
Nice blue Mustang with engine problems parked in front, hubby stopped to assist as all eyes were under the bonnet a quick bend and the cache was in hand, walked back to the car to sign and remove picnic items before returning with no one, not even hubby, aware that I had already found, retrieved, signed and returned before helping with the car. .

TFTC. We were heading back to Melbourne after a weekend in Nagambie and a few days caching on the Lake and Whroo. It was around coffee time so a bakery stop for coffee , cake and a nearby cache. It was a quick easy find seeing as it was a nano. The log is full. We did manage to find a small spot to sign H & L.
Normally we carry some spares, but we are completely out of nano logs.

Nice and easy even with the amount of muggles around today. Kids are great distractors.
Found it pretty easy don't know how I didn't see it just walking up to the mill site
Find # 3462 @ 00:15
Found while heading home from doing a solo trip around the "LEG" caches.
***EDIT****
With the lack of muggles in the main street, it was the perfect time to go NANO hunting, and thankfully it was indeed a quick find

Needed the hint as workers are making additions to the community centre and we didn't want to hang around.
The log is full so could not sign.

Being scientifically oriented we were sceptical of the geometric consistency but there were only a few options so the cache was quickly identified at 10:40. Extracting the log was tricky only to find it was very full but found a tiny gap in which to sign. Replaced the cache more consistent with the hint (we think). Thanks Dasies.
