Found but not under a punga any more, still with the guards though. Needs maintenance very wet!
Great little park near the holiday house. Found the new log to be very dry, but the pen didn't work and the junior cachers had opted to leave my pen in the car . Took nothing, left nothing, tried to sign log with my finger, to no avail ... Tftc!
Decided on a trip to the wild west- following the storm. Arrived at GZ to see a tree had fallen possibly due to the 120- 140kms!! Found cache but hint item eluded us. Very wet inside, log unwritable. Have replaced with temporary log and bag- may benifit with another dry container inside. TFTC
Enjoyed walk to the cache area. Nice and quiet "beach" near cache location. All good at GZ. TFTC
#2344 On my final day in Auckland, I grabbed this cache after parking just down the road. Was a quick find but container was water logged. I stuck my sticker under the lid. Not really a swimming beach, like you said. Tomorrow I head back to Canberra. TFBMH.
Out to gather a few smileys today, this was the last one for the day. Great day to be outside after the weekend of high wind and rain. Quick find. TFTC
Wandered past the playground after managing to find some parking about 100 m away. Left all of the muggles behind as we went down to the beach and then picked this up on the way back. TFTC
Found it this time, hooray! Having looked again at the description, we checked closer to the track than before, and quickly found it. TFTC
Took some searching but persistence paid off in the end. TFTC and thanks for bringing us here.
Cool spot nice short walk to gz and beach, daughter found it after short search. Tftc

#346. Nice park and playground. Lucky kids in the house next door! Wandered down to the beach and quickly found the cache. GPS coordinates were spot on. TFTC
The kids had fun looking for this, but didn't find it this time. We'll have to return...
Have stopped in here before on my kayak but never knew how to reach it from the road-now I know. A great little sheltered spot.
Quick find by W after a scan of the beach. Then back down to sit on the log. No wind full tide and plenty of sun. Got our timing just right. Beautiful hidden spot. TFTC.
The fantails were on guard this morning! Lovely secluded spot!

Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
One of the few occasions that a cache has been found with no GPS. Luckily had spare batteries in the car. Walked to the end of the path to see that beach and explore. Thanks again for the hide.

Had fun trying to find this reserve, combined with road works and coned off areas, parking was a challenge. Then the batteries ran out in the GPS. Decided to walk to the beach and take my chances with a find using the clue only. Success the cache was found. Thank you for the hide and bringing us here.
Never ever been here before ! Good playground I'd also never heard of ! Totally deserted on Sunday afternoon ....
I did this at night with some rain, so much more fun on certain caches, for some reason my GPS wouldn't settle, but I was close enough, found it with some persistence, nice spot.
Nick did you know what the Smart name for this cache would be? Anyway found cache after a few false starts. t4tc
I decided today to heed the old saying "Go West, young man, Go West." Well, I'm not that young nowadays but anyway I still went. It was a bit of a huff and puff to get back to the cachemobile.
Swapped TBs.
Cheers for the cache.

Found with Titirangi hunters, then took kids back to find, they loved the park and tides were out so did some exploring around the point, interesting place.
Found with Scenic Searcher, no GPS needed found with the clues and comments. Took kids back, they found quickly too. Cool place.
Easy find should have worn shoes feet were a bit tender after this one. Gimpe and the doctor. ..
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We spent this afternoon clearing a few caches around Blockhouse Bay and Titirangi. After walking down the hill to GZ we quickly found the cache then made a quick visit to the quiet shelly beach. A pleasant spot, TFTC!

Had more important matter to take care of before coming here with today being mum's birthday and all, but once that was taken care of it was a quick trip up the road to have a look for this one. Walked to GZ with the sound of a car trying (unsuccessfully) to get out of a driveway next to the reserve and after a short search soon had the cache in hand. No car noises on the way back up so either they succeeded or just gave up... TFTC
11935... Nice wee spot with the tide in, plenty of shells on the beach and no longer a secret for us, TFTC.
Almost secret indeed. I didn't see any signage on the reserve or on the track down to the beach?? I overthought the hint and that had me looking in a few wrong places before I calmed down and followed the GPS. All good but no trackable in the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Wow, playgrounds have really evolved, pity that the long tunnel slide was barricaded as I would have tried that one too! Tide out at the beach, but still enjoyed the walk - all to ourselves. Cheers!
Took a wee tiki-tour drive around the area for the last day of the year and thoroughly enjoyed the walk down to the beach. Would never have known this place was here without a geocache to take us there, so thanks.
Nice little playground here. Will definitely revisit with the kids. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found after finding the right punga!

I had on opportunity to kayak to this one last week, but it was a bit too far from Cornwallis for the others. What a great place to paddle to though - that log is ideal seat for a cuppa-tea stop.
Instead I ventured out today with brother and nephew from the road. Will was more interested in the slides for a while. It's a stunning view coming out of the bush, even at low tide.

Suffering from jetlag having arrived back in the country at 5am this morning, I was awoken by a bunch of caches being published so I decided it would be nice to get out in the fresh air. Slowly got my things together, having not unpacked yet, and headed over to the two new caches in this area. Never been down here before, nice spot. Dropped in a couple of TBs I brought back from overseas. And FTF #1271 TFTC!!!
