Staying a couple of nights at the DOC campground, what a beautiful spot. A nice straight forward find while taking a walk this afternoon, TFTC
Good hide, had to use location to find it! Very wet! Needs better container.
Quick find on the way home from a nice walk around the area. Found with mumandme and Kimmy+co. TFTC
This one was across the road from our accommodation, so had to grab it on the way through.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
warmed up walking up from the lake. found after a bit of poking around. left dry paper. needs new bag and container.
Found with Piwaka54 on our way home after an awesome day exploring and caching. GZ now under a rock not bark
We had met up with some trappers earlier, and they kept following us!! The birds were happy and noisy here. Thanks for the placement
Pleasing to hear so much bird song around here cache found in good condition thanks 360deg for keeping this one going
Got here after a long ride from home... Lovely quite cool walk after the 30c day it was today... Cheers for the smiley
Being from Australia we had no idea what manuka trees were but we were quick to find the cache. Tftc. Eatmorchikin from Brisbane
After finding the lower cache, I drove up to find this one. The camo seems to have changed over the years. TFTC.
#10,162. Day 5 of the southern road trip. Infoferret and I decided to travel around the top of the South Island after the Mega event in Auckland at Labour weekend was postponed. Its been a great opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of Canterbury and Westland. After staying overnight in Westport we are making our way today to St Arnaud and Murchison today. The weather has been great so far on the trip. Like an early summer. But this morning its light rain and drizzle. It cleared up for a while near Murchison but the gloom has descended once more in St Arnaud.
After stopping to have a coffee and a snack at the cafe we eventually made it onto the trail to find the geotour cache. Now heading off to get the last Adventure Lab stages but before then we stopped to grab this one. Didn't take too long to locate. A few choices of logsheets inside. Signed and replaced the cache where found. Thanks NZ Battery Eater for hiding it here in this lovely stand of beech forest.

Glad I went for an early morning walk before the rain (and later snow) went worse.
Found the container with two bags and a total of three logs (plus a sticker), signed at the side of what looked like the original log, full but with some spaces left at the sides.

A quick hunt by Miss 6.5 and it was located. Now under a rock as opposed to bark TFTC.

Decided we deserved to have a road trip so our first stop was at St. Arnaud for the night. Booked in to our accommodation and went out their back gate onto the Black Valley Stream walk. Lovely wander through the beech forest and were surprised at the number of homes/baches hidden away there. TFTC.
A quick find, a previous log made for an easy recovery. TFTC NZ Battery Eater.
Today was St Arnaud.
I had done some caching in St Arnaud before, but it was a little bit on the way somewhere else, or a handful at the end of the day. Today I decided to make it the focus.
A nice day, and successful. Had a good look around town, the lake and some good walking tracks. Only a couple eluded me today, a haul of 27 including an oldie and a virtual before I decided that was enough. Thanks all COs, an enjoyable day.

Thank you for maintaining this cache, 360 Degrees NZ*.
I am in Nelson for a few days and came over to the Lake to explore a bit today. It was dead quiet around GZ at 3pm, despite School Hols and short Easter/ Anzac week. I hadn't been down this street before - lovely trees and shade.

Spotted the likely hide on approach and sure enough it was there. Discussed the possibility that the nearby driveway was to a friends old bach. Waited for the traffic to pass by then replaced cache. tftc
Quick find this afternoon with eltee291 and crman1. Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada. Thanks for the cache, NZ Battery Eater and 360 Degrees NZ!
Found today with hingis20 and crman1. Sitting around wondering where to caching today and both hingis20 and I both came up with the idea of heading to Saint Arnaud seeing as how it was was going to be a nice day. Thing is, I was in the house and he was in the caravan when we thought of it. On vacation here from Victoria, BC, Canada and visiting with my daughter and her family. TFTC
Eltee291, Hingis20 and I are finished lunch and we are on the prowl for more caches.
Visiting from Auckland, staying at Kerr Bay. Walked up Gibbs track in the afternoon, nice find here. TFTC
Out for a geocaching mission with squirt88, this was the first one we picked up. Many Manuka made it a bit of a hunt before we found it.
Had a couple of goes at this cache (first time last night in the dark), but too much manuka. No luck today either.
Enjoying an afternoon of geocaching with Tramper Ted. This is one of many lovely walkways in the bush at St. Arnaud. TFTC.
A native bird flew past so watched as some muggles came past. Then quickly found. Tftc
Luckily I had a companion that knows considerably more about botanical items as I was heading towards a completely different species.
NQF here at GZ Now we know what they look like! TFTC and greetings from the UK
My fourth attempt at this cache as I'd been muggled out on three previous occasions. With a few minutes clear of foot-traffic I was able to take a proper look around.
A few possible places to look, so the hint was handy. Moved a bit of camo and there was the cache.

Quick grab after a group of walkers had passed, it seems all the beaches are full this weekend.
