Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. We are doing a bit of sightseeing around the Barossa using geocaching as our guide. We have enjoyed the remarkable sceanery while cruising the country roads. Thanks for the interesting history.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Nuriootpa to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches - this is our preferred caching - not suburbs. Thanks for the smiley
quick and easy find, looking out over a pretty incredible landscape. thanks for the cache!
Something special or unusual goes here:Beware of the ants - they bite! Trust me I know. [B)]I was still able to shake most of them off and sign the log with only a few bites. The Generic Bit:Had to head to Tanunda to check on a cache and had a few minutes to call in and grab a few unfound caches as well. [^] Not a lot of finds but some that were a bit out of the way or in areas I had previously cleared.. ] **SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks monkeysandus for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Found! Went the hard way round to get to it! Should have gone the right way TFTC
A short detour out this way to grab a couple caches on my way past. Quick find and all good here, cheers.

My only physical cache for today, en route to Gawler, the long way obviously. I’ve been here once before, couldn’t make a find, and have had a watch on this since. Now that a replacement is in play, I’m back for the find. And it didn’t take long, despite all the soursobs. Thanks for the cache monkeysandus, and thanks also to Team Waldron for the maintenance.
Finally made it back here, thanks Monkeys andus and to Team Waldron for the maintenance
Out for a days caching out North. Not the most productive day, quite a few DNFs.
After a few DNFs I thought it a good idea to replace this one. I had a container all ready at home and then left it there. Needed a short stop at the shops to buy some supplies. I checked out the area and couldn't spot the cache so I left my replacement.
All caches found were in good order unless otherwise noted.

Had our eye on this one for a while, noticed the few dnf, thought we may have had a quick look, but we haven't ever been. Anyway 2 phones, 2 people and 20minutes did not reveal the large container that was supposed to be there. I'm happy to replace it if someone gives me the ok. Beautiful spot, worth the trip. The photo below shows the log, I thought might have hidden the cache.
No luck for me either unfortunately. Might try again when the sour sobs have died off a bit.
Not an exhaustive search. Lots of sour sob growth. However should be visible anyway if it is still a large. Not the sort of place you’d expect muggles though. I’ll return if someone finds it. Thanks for the hide.
Had a good search. Unless I’m blind as a bat, doesn’t seem to be here anymore. Thanks
WOO HOO!!! Found it!!
On a beautiful winters day with the sun setting over the sweeping hills, we popped out to find a couple cache’s that have been “hard to get to” in the past.

This was one of my caches of choice to fill my grid for today - love the decent size of it . A quick find TFTC
Day 6 of our holidays and we started off out at Blanchtown down sealed roads, then back onto the dirt roads around the Kingsford property(McLeod's Daughters country), through smaller towns in the area and of course a cemetery or two. TFTC
Inspired by watching McLeods Daughters for the first time, I decided to take a little drive of the area. Found the cache now off to see what else I can find.
Found while staying at Greenoch on our first day geocaching. A new geocacher, Jac-Jam, has join up with me to help find some of the caches.TFTC. Jac-Jam found this oneand quite pleased with herself. TFTC.
TFTC nice find quick drive by out and about with geo wife LynSteNet and bullitmuffin 91

After completing some of the Jack Bobridge trails it was up to me to select a few caches for the trip home. As this was a large it was a must, headed out along the gravel road to GZ, never knew the info around the area till today. A quick and easy find.
A late plan made on Thursday night when attending the Cache in trash out event. Todays plan was to complete some of the Jack Bobridge Trail with David wazz and Jess Wrigley, although the heat was touching on 40 degrees still a great day, with a wine tasting along the way and 2nd loop of D/T grid now complete.

Although it was a stinking 40°C hot day, we wanted to use some of it for some outdoors geocaching, and so [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T), [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) and I made a plan to head north to Gawler and Lyndoch, and completed a section of the Jack Bobridge cycling trail, calling into a winery along our way. On the return back to Adelaide, we called past a strategic cache for [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) to complete his second D/T loop.
On the way back from Lyndock, [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) had eyed this large sized cache that he wanted to find, so we detoured past this waypoint to make the quick find. Argh, didn't realise McLeod's daughters were filmed here, but did recall they were around this vicinity. Thanks.

Can you take me out to learn to drive please uncle, sure where shall we go? Hmm?
I'll take you on one condition, "we search for caches !!!" said Mr Adder.
A cache that had been sitting all alone on the map for eons but we had never been nearby to search for it. Today a trip down a few unsealed roads for the benefit of the learner driver earned us another smiley with a decent sized cache jumping out at us. TNLN Log signed and returned.

Dropping son off this way last night, we had time to kill before picking him up, so time to get some local caches. TFTC
Wow, you are so lucky. I wish I could stay at Drovers Run.
Thank you monkeysandus for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Back on 27 Feb 2016, a mate and I drove straight past this one thinking the next cache (Kingsford View) closer to "Drovers Run" across the creek, was this cache... D-Uh! [:o)], so consequently we missed getting this one -until today [^], Sunday 12 June 2016. Out on a lovely cool Sunday with 3 other Muggle mates showing them the lovely countryside and visiting some wineries in the Barossa, i just couldn't help my 'addiction' and had to snaffle some caches along the way . As I approached I was very wary of the extremely aggressive Bull Ants that have an unpleasant odour when squashed. Not one was seen, must be the cold ha ha . A cache was quickly spotted (how could ya' miss it ) and the log book was signed at 15:40. Lots of swaps within for kids . (As this is such a cool cache and is my 400th find it earns a Favourite point ) Cache and contents are in excellent order and are dry. TNLN TFTC monkeysandus
Thanks boys. A great spot, except for the ants. Enjoyed the area on a day trip south.
Thanks for the find...hubby retrieved this one from the bushes. Spotted TB - did not take him. Found with mrbuzzy
A caching afternoon with Froghoppin and geoson Sebastbat took us to many places.

Took me a while to find a road into this hide. For some reason many of the roads on my map dont seem to exist out this way!!!

Felt like I was one of the layland brothers, they need to grade the road I think.TFTC.
Lucky for us there was not an ant in sight today, after returning home and reading previous logs not sure if the cache was in its original spot when we found it as it was found on top of the ground in full view.Gotta love a large cache especially one in such a scenic spot.
