Keith was a geo-highlight today and I cleaned up the map here Things got sticky at times And Im not thinking about the not-a-beesting-beesting-pastry-thingy. Located the cache by feel after failing to spot it by squinting into dark places TFTC OFs

Last day of a brilliant 4 night break to South Australia, which included the Great Ocean Road with our new Canadian caching friends jtee and janjorjack, then running around Gawler, Williamstown, Gumeracha and Victor Harbour, and of course the Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide. This was a much better option for us than sitting around Ballarat while evacuated from our home that was right in the middle of the Beaufort bushfires (and yes it miraculously survived, thanks to the artistry and skill of our firefighters). We spent last night in Keith, where we had a great meal with the friendly locals in the pub. Started today's journey with this cache find to kick us off. TFTC OzFiresafe.
Great signage. Having dj vu though.Thank you OzFiresafe for placing and maintaining Where is Oz Mega 2014 - Keith for us to find today.
Quickly found with Nibletricecakes on Day 6 of our Adelaide Leap Day Mega trip. TFTC

Mr Riddell was keen to visit this one today as he DNFed it some years ago in 2014.!!! That was 10 year ago and he was still feeling the pain, so it was high time that He returned to avenge his misfortune and wipe it from his memory. And thats what he did!TFTC
SL at 6:27pm. Bdiaw, MuggleMasterKid9 and myself travelled to Adelaide on the 21st for an appointment at the Women's and Children's Hospital. Today we leave Adelaide and caching on the way home it is. A pitstop here and I made the find. Thank goodness cause we didn't enjoy all the spiders hanging around! Stopped in at the servo to get drinks before we left.*Signed log as FWD and MMK9.*TFTC OzFiresafe and the challenge!
A quick find on my way to Murray BridgeA good spot for a cacheSigned and replaced where found
A few spare days to fill before Christmas so I made the decision to hit the road and go on a road trip from Adelaide to Ballarat. The main purpose of the trip is to tackle the Ballarat Geo Tour before they get archived in February 2024. Day one was hand long drive from Adelaide to Ballarat. Of course I stop off several times to stretch my legs and to grab some caches along the way. Found after a short search. Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe.# # #13671 # #
Tja, sticky. Ik dacht eerst aan "kleefkruid", maar toen ik al dat metaal zag dacht ik dat een magneet daar ook aan kon kleven. Jammer, maar ik heb de cache niet gevonden. On the road again. Vandaag was er niet veel tijd om langer te zoeken.(Translation later).
Continuing on my South Australian adventure. I stopped by this cache. A quick find was made and the log signed. With everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC
Quick find as we tick of an Ad Lab at the same time. Breaking our drive to Ballarat. Thanks Oz Firesafe
On a beautiful sunny winters morning we had just finished the adventure lab and grab a few traditional caches in Keith, thanks for placing it
Found with Chookster on a road trip to go hiking in the Grampians. We didn't do many caches on our way over, but this was a quick find. I'd come off a busy nightshift so quick finds made me happy!

in 2 states today. Thanks for the cache.
in 2 states today. Thanks for the cache.
On a drive to Tailem Bend with kmace today and as time was tight we were only able to hunt a couple - enough for another "two states in one day for me!". We were looking for one that was right by the road which this one was perfect for, I was able to park quite close to GZ and after hunting one side, checked the other and the cache was in hand. Thanks to OzFiresafe for putting this one here, nice bit of artwork!
This was the first of many caches as naughtybunny and I head off on a road trip to the Grampians region. A nice quick stop to ease us into it and a quick find as it was pretty much in the first spot we looked. TNLN. Cheers.
After staying the night and doing the geocaching in area was good to do this as I farewell Keith.
Two left to do when I become premium
Thanks for the caches

Southern Autumn adventure Day 14. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 8. It was another travel day today, but first Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and I went to Mundulla. Logs were signed F.A.M or similar. After a lap of Mundulla it was back to camp for the final pack up and hook up of the van and off we headed to Tailem Bend. There was opportunity for some stops along the way and a snack here and there. Once In Tailem Bend we headed straight out to hit some of the series we wanted in the area, firstly ice-cream which was another set of puzzles that have been burning a hole in our collections for some time. After two more series in the area we headed back to town for dinner with a cousin.
Keith was the first stop on the way today and along with a snack there were a few multi's to be done.
Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe

Day 13 of our loop through Vic and SA then home.
Today we were on the move from Bordertown to Tailem Bend. fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out early to get the caches in Mundulla before heading for Tailem Bend. We signed as MAF or FAM to save room.
Our aim was to collect favourite points, oldies, AL’s and any interesting caches in-between. Once set up in Tailem Bend, we headed out for some Ice Cream’s, cleaned up Happy Armpits and found some Wandering Heroes. All up a great day before having dinner with my cousin & Uncle who had travelled up from Adelaide to see us.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Today we headed out to grab our last few wanted caches around Mundulla, before trekking from Bordertown to Tailem Bend, setting up camp again, and heading straight out again for more of our targeted caches including the Ice Cream series of (solved) puzzles. This was the next find of the day, and a quick find once at GZ. Signed, replaced, and then we headed off to the next one on our list.
Thanks OzFiresafe !!

A quick park and grab.
A big day today. Started with a 5k run in Frankston and a new LGA, another new LGA in Melton for lunch, the big Koala, a few challenge caches in Dimboola and an oldie and finished in Keith with an evening drive.
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.

It’s Day 19 and the Epic Road Trip is coming to an end. Slowly making our way down to Bordertown ahead of tomorrows event.
Trying to keep out of the sun mostly by tackling adventure labs and other high value targets.
A not so quick stop in the heat but we found it eventually a little bit away from GZ.
Thanks OzFiresafe for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

We worked very hard to retrieve this one. Tenacious to the end. Well worth the effort. TFTC
Found with MazzyMay on a trip west. Stopped in Keith for a break in our drive and found some caches. This one was a challenge, the cache was spotted but accessing it was quite difficult. It had fallen down and I could just touch it but not remove it through a gap at the bottom. I finally managed to fish it out with a telescopic magnet, but even that had to be done carefully. Then the container was quite rusty and the lid took a bit of effort to open. It could probably stand a bit of attention. TFTC
Found the little cache but I could not for the life of me retrieve it from its hide.
It is wedged in there right!
