I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Ok this one is gone it appears area where it was has been damaged during roadside trimming. Will fix up over next week as i get chance.
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee road trip to Nelson. Today we cruised around Motueka, after the morning rain had stopped.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

I must have had a quizzical look on my face as I exhausted all the possible places and didn't have a cache in my hands. I glanced down and spotted the cache laying on the ground as if someone purposely placed it there.
After signing, I found a hiding spot that was if not correct, at least a whole lot safer. TFTC.

Dropped off in Motueka with the bike and heading back to Richmond grabbing a few caches on the way. Quick find and sign. Thanks for the cache.
Another simple one, the parking here was pretty good. Could not find the cache as per the hint, but had a look around and soon spotted it lying on the ground, and in good shape. It’s now tucked back pretty well in behind. TFTC Stretch0.
RG1972 had a cake decorating class for a few hours on Saturday, so it was my chance to fly solo and find a few Tasman caches on the back roads. I mean, the cake decorating stuff is actually quite interesting, but it was the fact they weren’t catering this one that sealed the decision for me.
In this little loop I had pretty good success - just the one DNF, but that was DNFed just prior to me anyway. The rest were all in good shape, thanks all COs.

Found with NZDi. It is Easter and NZDi decided she wanted to go to the Mapua Easter Fair seeing she missed out last year due to Covid-19 Level 4 Lockdown. Also we purchased a caravan late last year and as Easter is traditionally the last outing of the season before caravans are closed up for winter, we didn't want to waste this opportunity even though we have another trip planned next month.
So the plan is to set up at Motueka Top 10 Holiday Park for three days going to the Fair on Sunday, then on Monday look at the weather and decide whether to spend another three days in Golden Bay or head down the Wet Coast. In the meantime there is some caching to do.
Today is Day 2 of our expedition over the hill. Yesterday we managed to get what the purists would say was 17 caches, but two of them were Lab Caches so GCHQ says the tally is 25, and who are we to argue with that.
Today the idea is to do so local park and grabs, and as I wanted to do a mini trail towards Ngatimoti, I had to get across this side of town. I didn't realise how tricky that was going to be as some of the nearby roads were closed due to a drag meet (that's cars with V8 engines or rice burners with turbos, not cross dressers) at the airport. Having negotiated the detours, picking up the odd cache in the process, it is now time to start this mini trail.
This was the first of them and like most of the ones found today were QEF PnGs with nothing amazing to write home about so sorry for the cut and paste, but I guess that comes with the territory when you create a power trail. This one was a little different as we found it lying on the ground. After signing the new log, we returned it to where we think the CO intended.

Wow!! My first geocaching, this is going to be great adventure. Lovely walk from home as sun was going down. Thankyou. Next time I put my profile name instead of my name lol.
Great, just what I needed. A little loop near Riverside with easy to access and easy to find caches. There are days you need a challenge and there are days like today, just enough time for a quick smile. Thanks
On our way back to Nelson after a night catching up with friends. I managed to talk hubby into a few easy park and grab smiles on the way. Tftc
Nice easy find thank you. A nest of ants has made themselves at home here so didn't sign log. TFTC
Quick find and sign.. Cache was on the ground.. After signing replaced to correct spot... Than x4tc
The ants were loving this one. I am covered in them. Must have been some weetbix left in there. TFTC
Stayed a night in Motueka, out early to find some caches before we head to Picton to catch the ferry. Still a lot of ants about. Thanks for the cache.
Found it. But the box was filled with ants and ants and a lot of ants eggs. So we didn't to disturb the family and didn't signed the logbook.

Finally a successful attempt to get this cache even with the ants. My first attempt was thwarted by an electric fence and wet weather. My second attempt was also a no go due to muggles parked right opposite the cache site. Today we headed out again and it wasn't until we were halfway there that I read the logs again. Ants!!! I had forgotten about that. Anyway, there was no one around at GZ. Andy hopped out and made an instant find. The ants were still there but mainly attached to the plastic bag so we put that one in a sealed rubbish bag and left a nice new one behind. Brushed the few ants off the log and signed that then replaced everything as found. Next person passing could perhaps take some flyspray and maybe a new log sheet. tftc
First of this mini power trail and I came at it from a strange way with some doubling back and a few DNFs thrown in to mix things up a bit too. All good with the find but the container and log-book and bag were full of tiny ANTS and their eggs so didn't sign the log, just put cache back carefully and brushed myself down before getting back into my car. Last day of the month and only the 5th day I've been out for a cache find, or more, so time to get some in before I have my Geo-licence revoked! And there are some more souvenirs being thrown around willy. And Nilly. So I'm up for a few finds and yet another trip over the hill. Thanks say the fuel companies, but that's my hobby. Targetted the area of Motueka and the back roads in and around Moutere but my planned 50 caches in a day was thwarted by mrs capperz's intolerance of too many p n gs so it was called off in the late teen-numbers and crept over the line for 20 in the day.
First up here for an explore along the causeway, and side roads, that I've sped past too many times but which were deserving of more attention today. Some nice finds out this way and some good old winter scenery to help the cause.

Missed this one when i did the lot a year or two ago so a quick grab while i was biking past today. Ants think the cache tin is the perfect home for their nest so had them crawling up my arms after extracting the log. Pic of ant nest with the log. TFTC
made the find quickly but not as quick as the ants found me. probably the second most ants I have seen in a geocache ever, this time it wasn't the invasive argentine kind. the 2 cyclists wondered what I was doing near a signpost dancing around like a lunatic. Find #402
A short breather whilst cycling around Moutere in the hot sun! Handy placement. Tftc
For today I decided to locate and sign a few caches in the Motueka/Moutere and their environs.I had elevenes in Mot before heading back to Mapua via this mini trail.
Cheers for the cache.

TFTC. Up in Nelson for the long weekend. I decided to head to the Moutere area today. Lovely day to be out and about in the sunshine.
Thanks Stretch0 for placing the cache in this lovely area.

TregearP and I had some business in the general area this morning, so once completed, and with a bit of spare time we took a trip down Central Rd on our way to the multi at the nearby cricket venue.
A quick find. All in good order, thanks for the cache.

Being on holiday in an area with heaps of geocaches that I haven't found, I felt an urge for a splurge. JDScout and my eldest didn't feel like joining me. So I went solo. A power trail was perfect for my geocaching craving.

Today I started from 1957 finds and chasing down 2000. This cache was find 1972. Thanks to Stretch0 for the cache. Earning to others, watch for ants.
Off on a days caching with MuzzaL53 helping him get to 2000 - well someone had to help him!! 204 for me. TFTC
Found container on the ground have placed where we thought it should be. Tftc
After a brief detour to look for Twin Ponds, we were back on the mini trail again. Another quick find. TFTC.
#8226. We were coming out of the side road, so parked there (parking not brilliant, but better than on the main road). Luckily it was a quick find. TFTC.
Found with Just-Lookin on a short geocaching trip around the top of the South Island.
Appreciate the effort geocache placers have put in to show us the area.

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.

For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!
Come and join us the next New Zealand geocaching MEGA event!! Register your interest now at www.nzmega2015.com to receive newsletter updates and be the first to know. It will be a great event, come and be a part of it!!

We guessed where this one might be as we pulled up opposite.
Quickly found the cache, as had the ants, who were back and in determined mood. Eggs have been laid so they'll be around for a while yet.
Be warned those that follow - they're harmless but if you're not expecting them...
Perhaps a cleaned/replacement container is called for
Thanks

Easy find. Full of ants. Checked it out and there was no food. Shook all the ants out, pretty good now I think.
Ants must have thought mini trail meant ant trail and have made the cache their home! Quick find. TFTC
Was a great bicycle tour with caches placed for a short break to catch your breath. Enjoyed the ride, TFTC
[green] In Motueka for a family Christmas get together. Christmas is over, but the family thing is still going strong. Me, my sister, brother-in-law, niece, nephew (who all comprise cacher Bijouxtoo) are all out for a caching morning.
The first of this mini trail. They main thing we came away with is... what do the numbers mean?
[red] Happy Boxing Day everyone!

Our first experience of a power trail. Speed caching, what great fun. Thanks for setting up this trail and thanks for the cache. Greetings from Greece.
After the bad start at the first cache we attempted on the trail going north to south we persisted and managed to find every one after that. Interesting that the caches seemed to get smaller and the hints disappeared as the trail went on. One thing I did notice was the general lack of wide road verges in the Nelson region. What areas there are seem to be gates or drive ways and for us the parking seemed very dangerous at times but I guess Nelsonites are use to the roads. Good little trail nevertheless and we had fun following it back towards Nelson. TFTC
Had worked out where this would likely be when I passed at the start of the trail but there was a lot of traffic then so decided to collect it on the way back to town instead .. Nice quick P&G, Thanks!
A nice little power trail which I was able to incorporate into my drive to Motueka today. Love the rural back roads so a very enjoyable series.
Many thanks for the placement.
