As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Although a few dnfs here, was going past anyway so had a look around... no 10l buckets in sight!
Being a gardener Mrs ToT knew exactly what a pitasporum was and we had parked right beside it. But despite a pretty good search nothing was found. Maybe the CO might like to check on this one.
Couldn't look for this one too many muggles working in orchard and cars parked right by GZ thankyou to you & sharon for the power trail
sorry to log a DNF on this one we look high and low in and out and round we went but no cache today
it was the start of the DNF to day

Nice One!!!!!!!!!!!Did the Trail some time ago and somehow missed this on. No worries today. Awesome! Much fun on a great afternoon. Thanks!
This was the first find for us on the "Central Mini Trail" (though we didn't get far with it today, will have to come back another time to finish it).
You'd think a large sized container would take no time to find but no, it proved elusive. Only when we ignored both the hint and the GPSr (has the container suffered from cache creep?) and followed a geotrail, that the rather large bucket was found. It was a little bare inside, just had a sheet of paper with some names on it (no stash note or cache name) so we assume we found the cache!
Anyway, it's always good to find a "large" designated cache as there ain't many around. TFTC.

#9223. Hedges aren't our favoutite cache hiding places. Luckily this was a decent size cache, but it still took a bit of finding. TFTC.
Found with Just-Lookin on a short geocaching trip around the top of the South Island.
Appreciate the effort geocache placers have put in to show us the area.
Quickly found here.

Easy find, beautiful day! Left a dragon travel bug here and took the bike one
Hello from England. This was a quick drive by on the way to our accommodation. Wow it is one BIG tub! Left bike TB. TFTC [5281]
It was a year ago tomorrow when we were last in the area and couldn't find this one - so as we were back in the area today we came for another looksie and there it was - as large as we had imagined, our wee grandson swapped the giraffe for a rabbit - he was delighted with his find tftc

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.
Consec caching day # 704

For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!
Come and join us the next New Zealand geocaching MEGA event!! Register your interest now at www.nzmega2015.com to receive newsletter updates and be the first to know. It will be a great event, come and be a part of it!!

Tricky to miss this one and a fun find to end our caching day on.
Big Sis TB was dropped off here, and Buzz Lightyear TB came with us

Easy find. Left travel bug as we loved the container. M missed it initially. How? Our 2800th cache.
Wow, I never had an actual bucked before. Great fun trading TBs here! Thank you for that smile on the map.

Quick easy find of both the micro AND the bucket today (despite them being quite some meters apart), so I signed both
Really appreciate the large size as it meant I could drop off a couple of TB'd that I've had in my possession for far too long .. Thanks for a great cache!

Despite it being a 10L bucket we couldn't see it! We searched quite thoroughly around in the vicinity of the co-ords and the hint object.
Stopped for another try at this one having just dropped my daughter off at the Abel Tasman track. No problems this time and pleased to finally have this one ticked off the list. TFTC!!!!
3rd time lucky. The previous 2 visits where while it had gone walkabout. Pleased its not bad eye sight that was causing me not to find it. Thanks Stretch0 for replacing it. Lets hope it stays there this time

2nd attempt at this one .Time for a quick stop on the way back to Nelson , Quick find and sign , Thanx4tc (380)#
Now here's a container we couldn't miss. The biggest we ever saw. We found the cache, it's Christmas Eve and Liverpool FC are top of the premiership. What more could you want ? Merry Christmas and thanks for the cache.
OK new 10 litre bucket found and now back in place

Posted log on phone earlier but will back it up with an Owners maintance log too. The 10 Litre is back in place now so if you failed to find beforego for it . Please keep it out of site as much as possible. there are very few large containers about so would like to keep this one going but it takes care from all visiting cachers :-0. Thanking you in advance .
No luck for me on this one today, had a real good look to, never mind will look again on next trip over here
thought we were looking for a big bucket until I got home and read through the logs - nevermind maybe next time we are in the area
Found ourselves close to the north end of the trail and needing to head back to Nelson so decided to follow it and see how many we could do in the day. This was not a good start as for 10 minutes with two sets nothing was found even temporary caches. Not a good start for the trail for us.
The first (my last) on the trail I'd otherwise just completed, yet sadly a DNF
GPS took me directly to the clue so I thought it would be a snap to quickly find a 10ltr bucket, only now I read that went missing a while back .. Unfortunately I had only 60min to do the whole trail and 55 of those had already passed by the time I pulled up here, so no time to read logs or I would have known this and what I should have been looking for .. (read: cache is most likely still there!)
Ah well, there's always next time, and who knows how many more will be along the CMT by then?!

Think I found it, a container with just a pencil? Popped a small sheet of paper in it anyway.
Can I claim it a FTF???? Ha ha (Just beat the Kiddz)

Back tracked to get this. Only to see Motgran just leaving (she didn't even give us a wave) but will thank her for leaving the paper to log. 2nd one Motgran has beaten us to today. TFTC
A fine day and i managed to do a check and confirm it is missing. Have replaced w

Well really brassed off not to get this one, must have been to it before Stretch0 got there to replace it, may just have to go back before we leave the area.
[maroon]Day 4 of our 5 day Easter caching roadtrip. Today we were heading from Nelson towards the Mini Trail, planning to go up one way and coming back via the trail.[/maroon]
Nice quick find and our first of the trail today. Mum said its actually a 20L bucket and not 10L, either way its a nice big container for those complainers. Thanks for the cache

Well, my 4th ever Large container, and no doubt that this one qualifies! Very pleased to see it, which I could, easily, from across the road, but thought that it might be the thing the cache was hidden behind, not the cache itself. Great fun. TFTC
We actually drove to Mot and started the trail finding this one. Now that is a container! Very enjoyable evening. Thank you for placing this trail of caches
Took a bit longer to find than you'd think!!! A great container to finish off 14/14 of a fun trail. Thanks for the effort put in, much enjoyed!!
Yahoo, all done. Now that's what I call a cache!!
Picked up a couple a TBs
TFTC and great series

Great cache! Thanks so much for the biggie. Its hard to find caches to place big trackables in so really appreciated it for a trackable we needed to move on. Found after sampling yet another real fruit icecream outlet in the area on a hot summers day having fun with my young children.
Many thanks for placing and maintaing the caches, on a cache run for a few days to get to 8000 finds, and 2000 finds for the year.

This one only took a little while as we had to wait out a couple of youths walking passed. The hint item was not difficult to spot and the cache even easier. Great sized cache, TFTC

A nice big one to finish my expedition along the Mini Trail. One of the more enjoyable trails I've done. Thanks for setting it up. TFTC
First time I came here (and worked out the hint) I couldnt get the lid off the container. Also workers nearish by. back again and lid came off easily - pays to have tools with you even if you do not need them. Great cache. TFTC
I was saving the mini trail for the day I decided I needed plenty of finds and the longest day seemed like the best day. This was the first find, though I was a bit worried when I parked at GZ. Luckily it was a quick find and I was soon back on the road. TFTC
Dropping TB off that I may have never picked up in the first place (I hope) as I can't find it in my swag.
The first find on this much talked about mimi trail. And what a find! I'm locking this in for future reference. TFTc #4275
Found this one from the van sitting out in the open full of toys and locin life! Great cache TFTC
I'd been meaning to get out for a trip along the trail but hadn't quite got around to it. Tonight after a big feed of F'n'Cs I thought I should probably go and do something active so I grabbed my bike and headed off to make a start on things. I love caching by bike because it's a little more stealth. Quick find of a popular cache full of all sorts of goodies. Decided not to take anything today, onwards to the next!
loved the container
good one
our last cache for the day

Took a moment to spot said tree. Then after a few cars, grab. Oh no...a cyclist ....of the unfit variety dawdling along. And a container that can be seen for miles. much hurry and hide sign action happening !
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Did a cache check on the way into an event and found all is well still with this cache no damage done tree will show recovery soon
Nice One or at leasr should have been. Found GZ, no worries, however, big tree trimmer had just been through the area and wiped out your clue and half of each tree along the way. Sorry about that!
The end of the trail - for now. Wow what a box.
Good luck with the Grandparent trips and thanks for the caches.
Good luck with the Grandparent trips and thanks for the caches.
Mrs S had said stop there - which was not needed because we saw a car stopped just there and turn to the other side. Familiar car and driver - Having followed KE to sign the lst 6 or so caches there was an extra familiar signature in this one.
The co-ordinates (and geotrails) had been so good that Mrs S had not taken too much notice of the cache size. Fortunately the trinket in her hand did fit this one!!
This gets a favourite point - in part for the series and in part for the cache size as they are a rarity these days.
Thanks to the joint CO's for the "Baby Trail". Like its big brother, there was a nice mixture of hides - we didn't even miss the Eclipse tin!! We had told the CO's at the Event earlier in the day it was the afternoon plan - and it was great to have 14 out of 14 open boxes showing on the GPS.

Cache one for us on the trail this afternoon. Agree with the previous loggers. Worth a favourite particularly to say thanks for the trail but also for the container. Large container number 17 of 4,106 finds. That's how rare they are and thats after finding at least ten in Dunedin just a few weeks ago. Took a TB, left one and discovered one.

Didn't plan to be here at all today, but a new Kehu cache meant I was in the vicinity and what do you do when you have to go back home? Noted the favourites before I found the cache, and wondered what on earth brought that on? I seemed to be in a completely unremarkable place. Ah. I see, said me. Hardest part was to get the lid off, no worries shutting it again. Managed to thrown in a TB and sign the log. Not a fan of power trails, but then I'm also not so much not a fan to ignore them like I do some other caches. And this one is well under my limit of 30. You wouldn't believe it, but I was driving on Central Road two weekends ago wondering why there weren't more caches on this road. Perhaps I was using the Force eh? It certainly was a good afternoon for it, and the traffic wasn't too much of a problem. Thanks for putting it out - I hear it caused a bit of fun yesterday with those lucky enough to be near making a good race of it. Haven't added any to the trail. Somehow I think the usual suspects will oblige. It was amazing how obvious the geotrails were already after 24 hours! On a few caches I was quite grateful for them I can assure you - I would have hated to have been looking under FTF pressure. Thank you for all the effort you've both put in.
