A quick find out collecting a few caches while house sitting at North Beach,TFTC
Found with Loopy1972. Log book is full, and I don't have a spare. . Thanks chrispy89 for the cache.
Found it! Quick find here, got lucky searching the correct place first up. Headed north after a FTF and 2TF in Alford this morning. TFTC!
Goldy and Jimmy... Moonta... find caches! Yay!We had a quick stop in Port Broughton for the bakery and stopped here on the way back to Moonta. I had no idea this station was even here.Very cool spot. The log was signed as "Goldy and Jimmy".All is well here. Thanks chrispy89 for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 4155 on the 1st of July 2024.
On a trip to Port Broughton for a Park Run event and weekend away camping, with some coffee and lunch in us, we went caching! Thanks for the cache!
Bloody nano, Bloody nano, Bloody nanoThis weekend Courtneyrose_ and I headed to the Copper Coast for a night away, our plan was to attend parkrun at Port Broughton followed by a nice day out on the bikes completing the larger section on the Copper Rail Trail from Wallaroo to Moonta. A nice night away with nearly 100 finds for the trip. Thanks for the cache
Took quite a while and we were helped by a friendly local driving by. Wouldnt have found it without the tip! Thank you!
Decided to do a day trip to Kadina to make a start on the Abandoned Railway Sidings/Stations series, as well as Alford and Tickera on the way. All caches were in good condition unless mentioned otherwise. TFTC First find for day was a good one when standing in the right position it was there staring straight at me.
It became evident quite quickly that this had to be something small. And there it was. TFTC
Awesome hide, great find. Tiny and basically out of paper. Signed over someone else as j+s5556, with Sarge5556. Tftc.
Staying at Pt Broughton cp. Was a tad bored so went off geocaching on my own. Took a little while to find this one. I squatted & caught a glint. Took longer rolling up & replacing!!! Fumble fingers. Tftc
On a big day of Km’s during my
Holiday today to get 17 caches in 3 new LGA’s and also my second last date needed for my “date placed Calendar” challenge. I also shopped for supplies to hide 7 geocaches for you locals!
All caches were in good condition and any needing logs replaced- I did it! Some very interesting areas.
I made this harder than it was. Such an attractive cache!
A huge thanks from me
For the CFS!
After wandering around W.A. for the last 3 months, caravanning, caching and hunting wildflowers we are slowly making our way home to Adelaide via Pt Pirie and Wallaroo. T.F.T.C.
TFTC. Day 8 of honeymoon caching trip. Headed in a northerly direction from our base of Wallaroo.
Happy caching and safe travels!
Happy caching and safe travels!
While staying in Wallaroo for a short visit we decided to head north and grab a few caches along the way.
Today was the first day we’ve come across any flies since last Autumn, not in thick numbers but I’m sure they’ll build up quickly.
We also came across a large brown snake sunning himself on some rocks at one of the caches we visited. We promptly abandoned the search for that one very quickly
Many thanks for the hide chrispy89

Came out here for a drive in the sun to find some older geocaches I've never got around to looking for!
I'll be back when a multi appears here. Lol

Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. We are enjoying our time travelling in the YP. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.
Out with iluvtrekking head to Port Broughton and surrounds, picking up caches along the route. Thanks for the hide crispy89
Day 9 of our school holiday adventures sees us exploring the upper west coast of the Yorke finding a few random caches as we go. Easy one here - thanks for the cache!
A quick stop, find, sign and return the cache to its hiding place.

What an epic journey we have had, just returned home from the holiday of a life time, we managed to catch up with PP2 for some caching at times, oh the memories and laughter!! Now it's time to catch up with the logging, thank you to every CO who has placed caches for us to find along the way TFTC
Our last day on the Yorke Peninsula as we head to Port Augusta and the beginning of the long trek West. TFTC Team Firesafe
Found on our way home from a trip to Crystal Brook and Port Pirie with Team Waldron for a long weekend. Unlike the previous two days of low cloud and rain, the day opened up with clear blue skies, temperature in the low 20's, and light winds. Perfect for caching on our travels back to Adelaide via Port Broughton, Tickera, Wallaroo, Moonta, Kadina, Balaklava and Mallala. Thanks for the cache chrispy89!
Thanks Yandellfamily for the hint. Found it OK but log too tightly packed so we have not signed. Decided if we got it out we'd never get it back.
Today we cached between the Barunga Range and Port Broughton . The day was moving on by now, so we started to zig-zag around to the south , picking up caches in the farming areas in the general direction of home .
A bit of backtracking had us at GZ [:o)].
TNLNSL.
Thanks Chrispy89.

Having waved goodbye to the kids and grandies we had some time to do more exploring and caching on our way to Moonta.
A good find.
Thanks chrispy89
A good find.
Thanks chrispy89
Very very small and hard to find but looking low to the ground is the key. Very good one
Found on the way home from Wallaroo to Pirie. Thought I found this one years ago but maybe forgot to log. Anyway, the evil little container was eventually located in good condition. Tftc
So we were all set to fly to Dayboro for the Queensland Mega this weekend. There hadn't been a case in Qld for a quite a few weeks before we decided to book in early Feb. What are the chances of a case causing a lockdown and closing the border we thought..So when it all did happen just 4 days before we where due to leave, we were royally peed off. So we had to cancel and find somewhere else to spend Easter. Pt Broughton was a last minute choice so here we are at the Broughton Bay RV park. After having brekkie in the Cafe and looking around the markets we headed out to do a few around the district. SHould have realised that this was a chrispy cache as it was all in upper case!! A quick find and we replaced the log as it was chockers. TFTC
Log book has been full for sometime it seems as an additional log paper added is also full.
Late log just noticed forgot to log this from our trip last year. We were supposed to head off on holidays on Friday but one thing lead to another and then 2 x 40 degree days forecast so we decided to head off today rather Than yesterday.
It was flipping hot!!
We could not book into a camp site so decided to head towards port broughton and see what eventuated. We had a fun day, avenged a few prior dnf and enjoyed some icy cold beers at the Bond Store Wallaroo (can’t recommend enough) and then ended up free camping in PB. So incredibly hot TG for the genny and AC.
Fun start to life in the camper van!

Day 298 (Monday 22nd) of our trip. Caching along the way. Left Maitland today. A total of 1 for the day and 5718 for the trip. TFTC
Today we went further west. We were able to search for and find one or the other geocache again. The highlight was GC178, a geocache that is still needed for the Jasmer Challange. But ALSO GC997 was searched and found. Thank you to the owners for laying and maintaining the cans.
A day off from work had me off to the north west with Purrfect Di and Jack...
A few random caches to be found along the way - this was one of the lucky ones
Realistically it was a stinking hot day, with hoards of icky flies, harsh winds, and smoke filled skies from the KI bushfires
But we still had a good time hopping in and out of our air conditioned geo mobile!
Here's the CFS... and what a great job these guys have been doing lately. Hope they get a break from it all soon.

TFTC chrispy89 the cache was soon discovered & after reading some comments I added a small piece of paper to log our find, there is enough paper in the micro for about 24 logs.
TFTC nice find quick drive by thanks Chrispy 89 nice one cache was left on edge very visible when I found it so just moved back a little
Last service trip for the year 2019, Starting at Port Pirie Hospital, Port Broughton Hospital next stop Maitland Hospital, pick this one up on our way to Maitland. Tried last night, no luck and today went straight to it !
Found previously so just visited travel bugs on a day out caching with Guz's Travellers - fresh air and sunshine TFTC
Out on a beautiful day with Shandyk and was lucky enough to have this as one of my finds for today. Log is full so signed GT under a date in 2018. TFTC
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
This morning, the back farm roads from Port Broughton are the target. Everything is looking so green at the moment. Mostly Wheat, and some canola flowering in the distance.
Tiny wee thing. Needs new log sheet, sorry did not have the right sort. Thanks chrispy89

Heading off for a couple of nights at Port Broughton to relax. May as well pick up a few caches along the way!
Pulled as far off the road as I dared but the cars still went by close. Wow that is a lot of ant nests - glad they aren't active at the moment.. A short search and the spawn of Satan was in hand. Log Book was full but I found a space next to the shortish geocacher's name-----If. He didn't need much space. [:o)]
Around about here is where the rant should go but....whatever. You heard it all before.[xx(]
**Thanks chrispy89 for this cache. **

Man I have hate nano ones. But I liked this one. I only just got my name on it but could not get the date you will have to get a new log book because it is very full.
So TFTC
So TFTC
Found with LockChick ………………. while the log is nominally full there is still room to squeeze in some initials.
With CPWanderer - bloody tiny little bugger it is. Log needs attention please - CO or nominated person needs to come with a dedicated micro log - I would’ve but I don’t have such weeny logs to hand. TFTC
