As I No longer work on the luge i may find it hard to upkeep this cache, therefore it is probably better to archive it.

Happy Caching guys n gals!!

It was an easy and fast found as there were no muggels or Paraglider.
Beautiful view.

Having found this cache after a bit of a search, I'm sorry to see that it is archived now that we are home, 9 days after finding it. It was a nice walk up the hill anyway. TFTC

Had been down this way to do the Milford track, and after arriving back yesterday, and heading to Wanaka later today we decided it would be rude not to take a trip up the Gondala and check out the amazing views. We had done the luge, and taken the photos, so took some time to sneak off and grab the caches up here before heading back down the hill. A beautiful day up here so we weren't in a hurry. Which was lucky because it took a bit of hunting to find it. Should have read the clue properly! Nice find in the end. TFTC

While traveling in NZ from Japan by a campervan for a month, I visited the cache. Caches make travels much fun. Thank you.

Recovering up here after finishing the Milford Track the day before and with most of the group still luging lemski and I nipped off to attempt the caches closest to the cafe... Took a little bit of searching but the hint doesn't lie, and after a short search the cache was soon in hand. Awesome spot today. TFTC

Because my foot hurts I was looking for something without to much walking. Sneaked off before going on the luge and then got told off for coming from the wrong side. TFTC

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.

We arrived in Queenstown today from Auckland, together with HOLE-IN-ONE2 who is visiting from the UK. A stunning day up on the hill today, with great views. Only a couple of paragliders out at this stage. Took us a fair amount of searching to find this one, but we got this in the end. Thanks for the cache!

A little bit difficult - GPS was indicating 9m when we got to the windsock, but hint suggested something else. Lifted several rocks at GZ, moved back to table and search all around. Even under the decking that the table sat on. Reverted to the hint again. Went back to the windsock and paced out 5m and narrowed down our search area.
Eventually found the cache, took a waypoint, signed the log and watched a paraglide tandem set up.

Visiting phasevisitor from the UK spending some time around the queenstown area. Took ages to find GZ was slightly out which is a surprise being on top of a hill. Found eventually then sat back and watched a couple of paragliders take off TFTC

I and JBG63 took these caches on our holiday to Australia and New Zealand. We went from home on the 5th of January and came back home on the 30th of January. First we stayed in Sydney for four nights and then we went to New Zealand, Auckland. We hired a car and drove up north to Whangarei and around. Then we drove back to Auckland and down to Waitomo caves, Rotorua and in Wellington we left our car. Instead we met a friend from work who was there as a guide with his Swedish group. We followed them in their bus from Wellington and down thru the west coast of the south island. In Queenstown we stayed for two nights and then we followed with the bus to a boat trip in Milford Sound. When we came to Dunedin we hired a car again and drove up to Christchurch from where we took a plane home thru Sydney, Singapore and London. We have had a wonderful trip and seen lots of new beautiful places and met lots of nice people. Thanks for all these new places and caches.

Amazing views today and no wind which made it perfect! After the gondala and luge rides it was time to find the cache! It took a lot longer than we'd like to admit before Mrs B finally had the prize in hand. Definitely not keen to participate in paragliding ... but lots were enjoying the experience today! TFTC

(Un)Fortunately there were no paragliders there when we looked for the cache - we could not watch them, but otherwise we could search untroubled. Wink

Thank you very much for this cache and its view over Queenstown!

After returning from Ben Lomond peak I took a rest here and enjoyed the scenery. The cache could be found after a short search. Many people possibly watching from above, even though I found they have other things on their mind. I also watched the guy on the lift end, how he always talks to every guest, saying the same thing all over again, every 10 seconds without going mad. Respect!
Very nice cache, I enjoyed it!

We are far too cheap to pay $26 each for a gondola ride, so walked on a very hot day. Just under 45 minutes to get to this cache, phew! Amazing to see all the different activities to part tourists from their money. Great view indeed.

After our first zipline experience, I celebrated by climbing even a little higher on this hill to get to your cache. There aren't too many views prettier than this one to sign a log. Thanks.

The view over Queenstown is awesome from this place - and it has not that crowded like the summit station a few meters below. Thank you for placing this cache.

This was a QEF on the way back from Ben Lomond (great view - worth the effort to the top!). We wondered that the logbook was all empty (except cache title) after two weeks. Therefore we signed with FTF but back home we saw the two earlier logs which seems a bit strange to us Smile. Anyway, it was a pleasure to visit this one.

Nice find while on holiday to NZ. Luckily no one was paragliding at the time. We'd been paragliding the day before. It was amazing and everyone should have a go if you get the chance!
