Out for a wander in some never before visited areas. Enjoying the new places we are discovering. Signed CS43 & SCAHPA to save room on the log - TFTC
I spent the morning with Willis007 caching in the Mt Petrie bushland. With still plenty of time to spare, I decided to return to this bushland area and find the caches that I missed last time, more than two years ago. Needing to get back home last time, I completely missed this one, so was very happy to find it today. I followed faint geotrails in and out to/from gz.I luckily was on the right side of the log to find the cleverly hidden cache. And Im surprised that its 10 months since last found. All good here with logbook signed and replaced as found. Tftc
Well we managed the lot with out one drop of rain, now time to go grab some lunch and let these rabbits rest.Tftc
The GPS was sending me in circles, but a bit of a poke around, found me the cache. TFTC.
Headed out on foot for a few caches today.
Decided to hit a few around Burbank by doing the Creepy Rabbit series.
Thanks TMRabbit

I started the caches in this piece of bush many, many years ago, so while in the area today decided to finally finish them off…
A not so quick find in the logical location… After going from side to side… Geepers really liked one area, and after a little stick work, the cache appeared…

A catch up with a friend was well and truly due. Rather than sitting and drinking coffee, I suggested we go for a bush walk while chatting. I cleverly chose an area where I had a heap of caches to get. This area would be great for a bike ride as it is all relatively flat. Our first point of entrance into the forest had us wondering if a track was evident in this bushland at all. But after a few hairy moments with some big spider webs and long grass, the track became apparent.
We got about 11 caches today and my muggle friend was quite good at spotting the goods, even though she was constantly freaked out about the thought of snakes and spiders. Well, let's just say the cache containers didn't always help with that!
Today, however, we didn't see a single rabbit. Thinking perhaps they were in disguise to avoid Elmer Fudd.
A trek off course for this one but it was quickly found with good co-ords. No magnet required though.

And now we found a track to this one too. Gee, what a giant!
A fav point for the awesome hide!
Now we had to return home, but your awesome hides were just great! Be sure we will be back for the other caches which we couldn't do today!

Out caching Rabbits and other caches and enjoying a day out walking ( yes walking) in the bush. I don't always ride, just most of the time.

]I decided to come out this way for a walk with my geo dog Roxy to find 6 of the caches in this series. It took us just over an hour and it was a nice serene walk. At GZ i found this cache on the ground under the mighty big tree and could not see where it was supposed to be attached so i put it back where i found it in its safe place. Thanks for placing this series here for us to enjoy our walkies.
Found this one quickly as it had dropped to the ground. After signing the log, we put it back on the mount point that worked the best (there was a choice of two), so hopefully it stays up in place. Thanks for the hunt.
Today, jesswrigley and I started the day with Mansfield parkrun followed by a nearby breakfast. With a recent solo visit to Mount Gravatt lookout, we finished out the morning to see the views from there before proceeding home.
In the afternoon, we headed out to Westfield Garden City, and I then headed east to Rochedale followed by Burbank bushland to walk around the Rabbit / Creepy Rabbit series.
I spotted this cluster of "Rabbit" series earlier today, and thought it would make a good adventure and jog around. I followed the geocaches' instructions to park on Alperton Road (I ended up accessing the area near the corner of Leacroft Road), and all up, I managed to complete the series cluster in just under two hours. My only problem was leaving my walking/jogging until arriving at about 17:00 hr, and so it started to get quite dark by the end of my visit. I had brought with me limited supplies, which meant I was relying on my mobile phone's torch towards the end, and managed to just get me back to the car with finding the caches with 1% battery left! Otherwise, it was a really nice area to visit with the creek/water, and a few wallabies spotted hopping in the forest. Unfortunately, with water comes mosquitoes and cane toads, and so a few of those were spotted. The caches were largely quite creative, and all up, a recommended area to visit!
I continued my jog through the area, stopping off at this geocache. After a short search, the cache was found. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I wasn't sure what was meant with this hint, as again nothing seemed to be magnetic. I did find a burnt pest attached though. Thanks TMRabbit for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Early morning with GrannySmith 1947 to catch some more rabbits.
Nice quick find. Had a look at the map and decided to bush bash to this one. Only 100mtrs. Our last for the day.
Sad to say this was IPS with contents everywhere. It appears other finders are trying to put toooo much into caches and leaving them unclipped.
All rectified and hopefully back in its hole.

Did these ages ago and forgot to post the drafts. Off to finish the rabbits off after a years break.
This one is easy to spot, because it’s in plain sight almost. All good with the hide. Everything replaced as requested.
What a great end to the caching day!
These are the caches I love!

What an epic tree. How many 100 years has it been here? Now there’s some strange caching creature living inside
Deep in the bush, this majestic testimony to the history of the bush stands resplendent reaching to the sky. I can only imagine the people and animals this old tree has seen in its lifetime.
Headed off early this morning to tackle this dense little patch of caches. Lovely morning for a cache hunt.

It was a slow start for us this morning sorting out a few things at home and chatting with kids before
they went to work. We tossed and turned about what to do as the weather was a bit overcast and in
the end we did a bike class to get us motivated, had a late breakfast/early lunch and then came over
to the other side of town for a walk.
Of course, we didn’t read the cache descriptions before we came and entered at the wrong point
and had to get back in our car to the right entrance, one day we will be better prepared. We saw the
local neighbours with a group of friends having a bbq on their veranda before we headed in, so good
things are starting to get slowly back to normal!
We really enjoyed our walk in here this arvo, great spot that we had never come across before and
there were some great hides in here.

Chamad was telling me the other day that he was wanting to try and do 50 caches in a day for the badge, so yesterday I asked if he was keen to go out and find them. We organised a time and place to start our run which was by Burbank. We wandered around a few reserves and then decided to head towards Springwood for a few Earth caches, mystery’s and trads.
All in all we had a great day out and we’re both completely exhausted.
Sorry for the generic post.

What an awesome day or should that be exhausting! Out with geonayfee to try and complete 50 plus caches in a day. With this cache we completed it.
We completed 2 series and a few target caches, a few earth caches and a couple of puzzles…. Awesome day and a lot of driving and walking but the challenge was completed, thank you for being part of our challenge, next is 80 in a day
Loved this series, a nice range of different types of caches and a surprise at each cache, thanks

Bit of a bush bash to this one and spotted the likely GZ easily. Another great hide, TFTC!
Bit of bush bashing to get to this one. Can’t say the wallaby tracks are very useful. TFTC
Moving fast now to find this last cache for the day before my phone ran out and before more rain could arrive.
Moving through the bush wasn’t too hard and by now I have come to know the likely target so this was a pretty quick find. Then back to the car after a very pleasant and quiet loop of the area. TFTC and this whole series.

Came out here with Bristracker to get some caches with favourit points to help earn some souvenirs. When we arrived Bristracker discovered she had already found the caches here...Oh well she was happy to accompany me as I found them. Quick find here. TFTC
Had big day today chasing caches from one end of Brisbane to the other. Had lots of fun. TFTC TMRabbit #739 D10
This was our last cache find here today. Now that we know what to look for in this series this was a pretty quick find. All magnets are working well on this cache. (still creepy tho’ )
Thanks for the fun we had this morning finding your caches.

Out with the MB to collect some finds to boost my Feb stats this morning.
Was not first to the parking but still early.
Another find while on the hunt, wondered how CO could find all the cool places in the bush.
Thank you for hiding this geocache

One of two caches I needed to find this afternoon to clear this patch of bush....A great bush bash to GZ and even more fun trying to find the way back to the path without eyeing the GPS! The tree by GZ was something, too! TFTC!
This was probably our longest bush-bash of the day and at a whopping 50 metres it put me into deep contemplation about how some cache locations are found, and also whether I had left the iron on at home.
Do some COs come out looking for koalas or just know the area because their parents actually let them play in the bush when they were kids? Is it because they come hunting wildlife or is it the fact they are just lost? I think I would only ever find a cool spot like this if I was stumbling home drunk but then the problem would be trying to remember where I was the next day.
I peered in to find our creepy friend missing some legs and if he had been previously on a spider web that had met the lavish end of my hiking pole, I take full responsibility. tftc

Series done! Thank you for the amazement and fun. A great day out I. A beautiful spot. So many wallabies
Cleaning up some field notes and found this unlogged - appreciate the effort you have made with all these caches.

Collected the kids from school with the intention of collecting some caches around Alperton Road. Thankfully they go to Mackenzie Primary so it was really close. Chikinlittler was the one to spy this one all neatly tucked up in its hidey hole. Our last one for the afternoon. As we were walking back to the car we were treated with the most glorious sun set. So stunning. A lovely afternoon for us so thanks for all the caches you have in this area TM Rabbit.
Another quick find exploring the koala bush lands. All good with cache, was expecting it to be trickier. TFTC
We took the opportunity with the break in the rainy weather to grab some caches today and enjoy a walk in this lovely bushland. Once we made a plan on how to complete this circuit we entered through the gate near No6 and headed off with the hope the area was dry enough that we wouldn't be covered in leaches on our return. We were initially a bit worried as we had to walk through some water but was pleasantly surprised that the rest of the journey was reasonably dry. Last one before we headed back to the car for lunch. We drove across the road back to the lunch area which had good facilities and a lovely interactive wildlife wall. Rested and feed we headed off to grab the rest of the bunnies. TFTC TMRabbit
Clever spot, went around this one a few times trying to work out a clear path, as it happens there was still some bush walking to do regardless. TFTC
Thought we would collect a few caches whilst in the area on the last day of the year. A nice quick find was had by the team here.

After a week of wet, time to hit the bush trails and hunt some rabbits. Having done one lap with Fangsoki today I now headed off on my own for the top half. A bit off the track I'd been on, but no issues on approach.

Another nicely hidden cache in this area. Easy walking plenty of caches and wildlife. Picked up TB thanks.
Many moons ago, with a previous caching partner, we had taken his mother caching in this area to show her what we were on about. Much to our disappointment she had had enough before all the finds were made, leaving several green boxes amongst the smilies. Years later, that person no longer caches and I still had a map dotted with annoying green. Today Selva Girls and I made our way to the area, as she also had some finds to make, and together we cleared the area. A quick find here once the gps settled, and the series is as I remember it. Tftc TMRabbit
Last time I was in this area, I dint get to find all the caches here as my caching buddy, then, had found these ones and didnt want to go back to them. They have sat on my map, annoying me, ever since. My caching partner today had previously found all the caches in this area, but more had been published since, so she had a few to find too. Another quick find at GZ. TFTC
Found this one at 9:15 this morning. We were chatting as we walked along the path and were 150g past itso a quick about turn to find this one.
