Decided that I would give this one a go even though I was only wearing jandals - thankfully the low tide made the cache retrieval quick and easy. TFTC

Thanks yyvettetb for replacing this cache. You encouraged me to walk the mangrove flats, but didn't escape wet shoes and socks. Gunboots would be a go.
We found the spot but no cache to be found as tree had been tried or similar. Replaced cache and have messaged CO. Thanks for bringing us here.
We replaced this cache to save you having to come out as a few others couldn't find either, hope you don't mind. Place at the back of the mangrove facing the water, high and away from bird perches.
We did kind of find it, but we replaced the cache first. Yvettetb, me, and my kids squelched out to gz and hunted through the bird poop infested tree and found no sign of the cache. As its such a great place to give one, we thought we'd replace it for others to find. Yvettetb has messagedthe CO. TFTC
Not to be found today. The tree has been cut since I was here in 2013! New growth is very weak. Think it’s missing.
Awesome hiding spot! Watch the oysters if you forgot your jandals tftc

There is indeed a cache out there, tides were favourable to decided to grab this one. Found the way in and spent wayyyy to long looking for the cache, which was staring me in the face the whole time. TFTC
Initially said no, as it looked very muddy, and was planning on lunch in these clothes. Then spotted a better looking route and made the wade on an incoming tide, about top of the calf deep at worst. Spotted quickly just had to get to it.

On A road trip with Dee+ME from Tauranga. Have been having a poke around here and there and been taken to some great places, many thanks to all you COs for your placements. Cheers
I was staying in Pahi with the Jags and Aiden29 for Easter so plans were made to collect as many caches as we could in the area. Thankfully the tide was right for us so we didn't have to get our feet wet. It took a few minutes to spot the cache and just as we did, Mrs Jag managed to slip and scrape her leg as the branch she was standing on for a bit of elevation broke and.
We decided to get way for Easter and stay in Pahi with Merlot58 and Aiden29. Fortunately the tide was just right. Unplanned of course. So we managed to navigate the mud and wet spots around the mangroves. Got to GZ and went to the centre. Mrs Jag50 climbed up. Fortunately was hanging on as something broke and she got a bad graze on her thigh. Needed kissing better.
Headed up North with Jag50 and Merlot58 to stay in Pahi for the long weekend. We were at Marsden point, and headed up this way to find caches along the beach. We were very luckily that we had timed the tides perfectly (totally unplanned!). We worked out the best route to access GZ, without sinking too much in the mug. Once at GZ we all spread out and I managed to spot the cache, which Mrs Jag reached up to get and managed to sustain a large scrape on her leg for the effort.
Had this timed to perfection with the tides which was great, TF suffered some blood loss here as I tried to direct him to the cache which I didn't think I could reach and turns out I could. He was very good and not mumbling too much which was good as we had a whole day ahead of us. Another great cache placement. Thanks for the fun
Easy roast lemon squeezy! (If you go at low tide and enter the tree at the obvious access point!!) SL TFTC
Out for the afternoon at One Tree Pt. Walked across the sand/mud flats at low tide to grab this one. Certainly a bit squishier than expected and a lot more snapper or trevally holes than I thought there would be. Must come back fishing one day.

Loved this series. This one gave me a bit of grief. Went round and round and finally spotted the cache. Thanks for bringing me here Rednuam6
Took a few minutes to find this one...clever placement and thanks for bringing me here and for a great cache

lilo jak z konve, ale i tak jsem se pro ni vydal, vždyť byl odliv chvilku mi trvalo než jsem ji uviděl, ale pak jsem mohl celý promočený zalogovat

Enjoyed the drive around the area today.
Soon found but log wet - fun cache and tide just ok. TFTC

Had to walk around a few times but found easy enough. Log was full and soaked so couldn't log. Nice cache though.
A wonderful day for geocaching. Beginning with a few geocaches on some back roads going up to Whangarei. And I made it. Going there on low tide my shoes got a tiny bit wet but nothing too bad. Found it quick and enjoyed the view from out there thanks for the beach walk.
Out and about for the afternoon with CB to find a few caches in this area. We had a great day out and had quite a bit of fun. A couple of finds proved quite eventful too, I explain what happened on those logs. Thanks eveyone for the hides.
Stopped off here about a hour or so ago but the tide was still to far in to be get along the beach without getting to wet. Decided to grab a few other caches before returning. This time around the tide was much further out and we could get along the point without to much issues.
Tide well out now so a quick walk out to here. A quick hunt about and the cache was spotted, a neat place to hide a cache.

Loved the location, something a bit different. Couldn't avoid the wet feet but it didn't matter in the end as they were about to get worse on the "rock hop or mud crawl".
Vanquish found this one also. Rockstar! Team work HFB does the navigating and Vanquish does the finding log almost full

Managed to not get too boggy this time! (probably because doggy had to sit this one out) another find thanks to the help of HappyFacedBandit's navigation skills. Definitely not somewhere I would have ever gone if not for the cache, so thanks for the adventure!
We Knew instantly where the cache was hidden. Feet were nice and dry to this point and venturing out to collect this one was going to change that. Love the camo. TFTC.;D
Instantly spotted the GZ and the tide is receding. I said to my caching buddy "I want it" She kindly obliged me. We tried to puddle dodge but we couldn't help getting wet feet. It started to rain so we sheltered under the mangrove until the worst bit was over. A cute little cache - good colour choice. I remember kayaking around this tree. Thanks for this little series of caches. I've had a fun day in this lovely area
[green]Checked the tide times today so I could get to this cache on dry feet. Had a nice walk out there. Great idea to use the tides as a limit.

On our way to "So What's the Point??" cache, I had seen a spot that I thought would be a good way out here. Mentioning this to Mum, she suggested the I continue and she and Dad would head out and stort looking for the cache.
Dad hadn't heard all this, so when Mum started taking him out, he asked what they were going. I pointed to what I though was GZ and he actually said "There a cache out there!?.
I had found the other cache and just reached the tree when Mum spied the cache.
Then had the fun of trying to find our foot prints to get back to dry land, we missed them at one point, however I had the GPS tracker to follow. TFTC

The tide was well out, so it was just a matter of a wander out through the mangroves to GZ. Found the best access point, and soon spied the cache. Thanks.
A Waitangi weekend road trip to collect a few puzzle series of caches that we have solved over the last month or so - plus any other caches that we can find on the way!
Earned this find - walking through the mangroves! Stoked to have secured it!

Round and the muberry bush/ oops - mangrove bush. An easy cache when you know this area well
Had to convince hubby to come out to find this one ... Managed a dry walk out and back. TFTC
Fabulous site for wading birds - herons and oyster catchers galore! Piece of paper placed in cache - one of our favourite caches. Thankfully the tide was right for us today.
Out doing a maintenance run this afternoon. Replaced the nano with a bright red (I think it is) micro attached in the same spot. Got back to the car and realised there is no log in it! Can the next cacher please add a piece of paper until I get back out there again? Thanks
Finding this so quick was an absolute fluke. We didnt know the tide times and it was low tide. The first gap i put my head into i saw it.It is very hard to unscrew.Maybe a bit of vaseline on the thread. Its been a great day out. Thanks
You are right ...there is a cache out there & it was found without getting muddy feet or cut on the oyster shells. TFTC
Glad to finally knock these off my list of close local caches to find, almost wished I had aqua socks on as I went into the mud up to my ankle, hoped there wasn't any oysters in the mud. fortunately not.
Ring is rusty.

Out for another club tri at Marsden Cove, so couldn't resist stopping to clean up after a couple of missed caches since the tides were just right. Whew!! what a stinking hot day. TFTC
Yes, there is and signed the log to prove it. Last find on a lovely early morning walk. TFTC
2.50pm. A little bit boggy getting to this one. Took a while too before we spotted it. Great place for a cache.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
A secondary reason for coming up north besides the primary one of attending an event was to have a nice walk along a beach picking up the odd cache along the way. The series along here suited it well.
There certainly is a cache out there. I had timed the tides perfectly arriving 3 minutes before the predicted low tide.
Cheers for the cache.
Nice early start for this great series of new caches today. Tide is just right I reckon . Yes I knew it, it is out there. Quick spotting and signed another empty logbook . Water was so warm. Enjoyed this cache so fav point.
