My friend and I had look for a good two and a half hours but still could not find this one, but i'll be back and good luck to the next cachers who go looking for this one.
Out and about in the area finding all of those caches I have not found on past visits.
After finding the 'new ones' around Ewen Dam I am now heading south and home.
But it could that all day with all of these caches to find as I zig-zag my way through Caboolture.
A short search before spotting this one.
Unfortunately there is old clothes, broken glass and other rubbish scattered around the tree.
Thanks for the cache.

Checking our map & there are way too many green spots around Caboolture for our liking! LOL ...
Time to make a few changes!
12 of 30 found today!
WOW!
That is some tree!
The 'Old Dame' certainly is a most suitable name!
Parked roadside & approached GZ thinking this was going to take a little time.
How wrong could I be!
Geo-Mamma turned up the cache in short order.
The log was all screwed up & just squashed back in but we straightened it out & tidied up the cache.
You would think people would take more care, really?
Signed & replaced as found.

This Day in History
Monday, February 28, 1944. : Nazi soldiers arrest Dutch Christian Corrie ten Boom and her family for harbouring Jews.
Corrie ten Boom was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 15 April 1892. She was instrumental in assisting Jewish refugees to safety during the WWII holocaust, and her family was very active in the Dutch underground, hiding refugees. Although Corrie's family was Christian, they helped Jews unconditionally, even providing Kosher food and honouring the Sabbath. During any given time in 1943 and into 1944, the ten Boom family averaged 6-7 people illegally living in their home, usually 4 Jews and 2 or 3 members of the Dutch underground. It is estimated that the family saved around 800 Jews during the holocaust.
On 28 February 1944, Nazi soldiers arrested the entire ten Boom family. They were sent first to Dutch prisons, where they were interrogated. Corrie's father died ten days after the family's arrest, and other family members were sent to different prisons. After being shunted around various prisons, Corrie and Betsie were interred at the notorious Ravensbrück concentration camp, which held around 35,000 women, in September 1944. There, Betsie actively led daily Bible studies with the women, bringing hope in a place where torture and death was commonplace. Betsie died a week before Corrie was released, and it was years later that Corrie discovered her release was due to a "clerical error", and should not have been permitted. A week after her release, all women of her age were executed.
The story of Corrie ten Boom's family and their work during World War II is told in the book 'The Hiding Place'. Corrie actively used the rest of her life to aid others after the war, and to spread the ministry of the gospel of Christ around the world. She died on 15 April 1983, on her 91st birthday.

Found by pure luck or skill hahah while hubby was looking with gps hahahah. Cache all in tact ☺ someone even left a pair of sneakers there hahah
I am reasonably confident I could find this one if not for the almost constant stream of people walking/riding past or through the park. A very visible location combined with me visiting at the wrong time of day (just after school finishing) means I gave up and will come back another time.
What a glorious tree!
What a glorious tree!
So many spiders and someone left a pair of underwear covered in number 2 . Try again another time
Beautiful old big fig.. found it after getting rid of a few spiders tftc....
I finally found my first Geocach YAY FOR ME LOL but there is no trackable item geocoin is missing and needs new pen I have to go home and get a pen
Looked and looked. Had a friend with us who has found it before and after a long search she double checked where they found it and it wasn't there. Either moved or removed
Quick easy find. Had to wait for muggles to leave to replace after signing log. Tftc
With a little help from the neighbours and a scare from a rubber snake curled up we eventually found it. Thanks for taking us to see this beauty.
Well that is most definitely one large tree, I could have likely got away with leaving the GPSr and phone in the car. There was really no need for them here, they really would not help much it is just a matter of looking. Which of course soon enough resulted in a find and my name in the log.

It was lovely and fresh and had all the makings of a geo-cache SL, TNLN, TFTC Oh, and thanks for the heads up that the cache was still there from over the fence [^] . After some DNFs it was good to find a cache at last.

What an awesome tree!
I was working late and just needed a quick find.
I snuck up underneath and started searching by torchlight. Lucky for me, I found it in the second place I looked!

Have to bring the camera back to this one. It's an amazing tree. Found with the help of Charliee_bug and theweirdone. Found after reading the hint. Couldn't see a place to sign on the log so I popped a new one in.
